Only caught the tail end of Lexi trying to get her mother, Twiglet's, attention but it was cute. I'm sure Lexi knows her mother's attentions will be elsewhere very shortly. :(

and another silly of Boris in Charge

Love the video of "Bossy Boris" telling everyone to get out of "His" trailer! The video of Lexi and Twiglet is so cute.

It's Boris smacking his head with a hoof!
The pro photographers come to take photos but my reindeer always let me down... they only goof when I'm taking my dodgy photos!

In the faaaaaar distance, you will see a wheel barrow full of hedging plants and a water container (white)... While I have been with wheel barrow & been planting, no problem but once I left it... Wow it becomes a potential threat! Silly reindeer!
I just hope they know what we go through for them... Planting trees in gaps in hedgerows, I am stung by nettles, ripped to shreds by thorns from established hawthorn and blackthorn (backside included) and as a funny today, I was delighted that there are leaves on the trees as my jeans got so tangled in the crouch area by barbed wire that I had to take them off to free myself!!! :)
No pictures yet but had a little feel at most udders today (Mischa, Katya, Lotte & believe it or not even Twiglet), didn't get Ana and Elsa will be 3 weeks later... BUT pretty sure Mischa will be first as her udder is a lot more developed. :) We'll see.

xDxD They are going to guard the fence for you. ;) Thanks for the chuckle. Sorry about your mishap with the hedges.
I look forward to all your beautiful pictures. Happy Easter. :)

Barbed wire in the crotch area .... could this be the latest design in chastity belts.

Hope you were wearing kevlar undies. Lol.

I bet the reindeer had a good laugh. They probably thought it served you right for leaving that wheel barrow there to attack them!

Thank you Farmlily, that is so kind of you. :) I love sharing the joy of reindeer, they are such special animals.. and not just for Christmas! ;)

Today's update... I finally got a "fondle" of Ana's udder... One of these days my cold hands or camera will give me a black eye!!! :)

My predictions for calving order.... Mischa, Ana, Twiglet, Katya, Lotte & Elsa.... I may very well be wrong, we'll see, as Twiglet chews all her tummy hair but always leaves it fluffy around her udder, so not easy to see (fondling necessary)??? The first, Mischa could be in 2 weeks..
    Picture Mischa.

Note, clipped ear... For those who haven't previously seen educational posts. Mischa is one of my "wild" imports... Their ears are clipped in patterns to denote ownership by native Sami herders... She was a "wild child" but now a cuddles Monster! :)

So funny Brooke and I love it that I have so many (virtual) hands to hold...
Have the feeling that there are quite a few people that will be cheering us on.. And if one of the mothers rejects and I am bottle feeding throughout the night, I might be able to bug you as SOMEONE will be awake to see random posts.... ;)

So sad, but the reality of CWD being found in Europe, last year, for the first time ever. I am hoping/praying that it doesn't come to England... Most European countries have banned exports but a few UK importers worry me as they are just buying from Finland who haven't closed their borders yet.. :( My quest for a new "stud" bull gets ever harder, and the destruction due to CWD is beyond but necessary... At least, hopefully, followers will see the heart ache by this new disease gaining our shores.

I am so sorry that CWD is a potential threat to your growing family. If anyone can keep them safe, you will.
You have many fellow farmers waiting for your beautiful babies. If you need to chat, someone will be here. ;)
