Event Crop: Glowberry

• plantable on all main land fields (main farm, green meadow, magical glade) and one tropical field (Bahamarama plantation only).

Event Drop: Thermos Flask

• received when harvesting trees, stables, workshops, crops on all the main fields (main farm, green meadow, magical glade) and one tropical field (Bahamarama plantation only).

Mill Product: Backpack

• can be milled in both main and tropical mills.

Notes

• Event lasts 5 days this time instead of the usual 6. Plan accordingly!
  
• Rainforest has been excluded from this event, so only 4 out of 5 fields are available for event crops and drops.
  
• Once a lantern is lit, it stays lit permanently. When all 16 lanterns are lit, you will automatically receive all the extra rewards associated with bingo combinations 1-14.
• Required daily average: 850 / 5 = 170 drops per day.
  • If you find yourself falling short of the daily average, you should consider posting in the SOS thread.
• Be sure to check out the General Event Strategies thread for tips on improving drop rates, if you haven't already done so. It should be considered essential reading for those who struggle to finish events due to insufficient drops.

Cant see how this a medium task when ppl like me have not got Albino bats and nothing in market and what was/is there is way expensive anyway. That said hopefully everything is doable for me just reliant on drops not holding much hope on drops been good for after last couple of events. Just plants and mill products to do, lemons sheep and wool already in barn. fields to get ready in a couple of hours for when I go to work with long crops and pens then not to logon till 12.55 pm UK time in readiness for event to start. After initial planting of event crops and growing enough for rewards it will be filling fields of animals in readiness of breeding event.

I'm not going to stress on this one what rewards I get is good enough for me.

The developer who thought it would be a fun idea to include 12 albino bats as the requirement for all the decent rewards ought to reevaluate his decision making....

The Firefly Festival is the 4th Firefly based event involving unlocking Lanterns !!. Those of you who did the Previous Firefly Events as Four Flares and Firefly Jamboree. You have an option that you may not need to do the whole event to get the Three Givers and Cloud Row.

It is Possible just need to Focus on Combo 11 to unlock the Cloud Row. As All Three givers for this CR could have been obtained from Four Flares and Firefly Jamboree Event. As you on need to Unlock Lantern 1,5,6,9,11,13,14,15 and 16.

Since This Cloud Row gives 20% more EP on Darklight Fireflies during MM Event. As you can adopt to use the existing Glowberry Preserves,Let there be Lanterns and Lights out giver from Previous Four Flares and Firefly Jamboree. I wonder if any of you are happy or able to do this.

But those who are Newbies will have to try to complete the Whole Event to get three givers and CR unlocked..!!

This Event is asking for 12 Albino Bats and 20 Angora Wool. So of us have these in our Barns, Some of us have to produce them or Some of us have to buy these in the markets. I am currently selling some Angora Wool. Those on Market 15 will see my listings. I am also selling Albino Bats too to help those who are in short supply of these

Therefore my requirements may differ to ZeroDegrees to do this event. To whom has the luxury to have some of these givers already.

Those of you who have Rain Forest, Just to inform you it is excluded from this Event. I will use this Field to work on the New Going Straight Quest

 

I don't have bat breeding unlocked, but I get an albino bat every couple days from one of my cloud rows... is that why they think we all have albino bats on hand? Because of that cloud row?

I am not sure if either of my farms is doing this event...kind of a big whoop-de-doo rewards wise. Much will depend on the drop rate...if it's good like it was for this last event, that's one thing. But, if it's abysmal like it normally is... nope nope nope.

 

I was thinking that too until I scrolled down and saw your response!! very funny; they must have had an ephiphany as well on the angora wool, 20 @..it was over 12k each when I last looked. I'm going to pass on this event but I'll be handing out thermos flasks to my neighbors anyway. Good luck everyone!!

I don't know what I will do with this event yet. I think I will try my best with what I have open to grow
crops.

With the CC rewards from the event, it will make it possible/easier to purchase what you don't have. Good luck!

 

I have a feeling that the drop rate is going to be on the low side If so, I will keep one field going with either long timed crops. Or maybe just put out my bees or chameleons (for future breeding event) Hope I am wrong about this. Having 3 events so close with no harvest-coupons or otherwise-is really hard I know, cry me a river of tears!! Good luck to all!! Thanks to the number crunchers and others for their sage advice

 

I don't know what to do, 9 this morning I checked forum, nothing, pulled out my pens, thinking (or tried to) it was just Renzo. Then 30 min later... And Albino bats, no bat breeding here, and the prizes didn't wow me. I do have the wool and the sheep. The drops should be as normal

but so close to the last one, and such a normal, regular grow & throw (remember the order! 1th grow, 2nd throw). .. on the other scale it's the mighty FOCD. What to do, what to do

 

@Moraine, come on join us...you know you want too! If the drops are low then we can all go back to regular farming! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Albino 12 bats on my market are selling for 191,520,00
Have 168 of them...and wouldn't sell one... they are more useful to me in my barn

Wish i could give you 12 of them Moraine... I don't have to breed them only have to click to get one ...every 30 hours ...have a cloud row that gives them


Bats should have been the drops ... and we have to catch them in a net ...would be more fun
