Strategy Frisbee Dog Competition

ok morning harvest 151 on spelt.

 

Only got 120 drops on 1st harvest, using carnations, garlic, and spinach which I needed.... but think I'm going to sit back and just enjoy this event. Like the idea of the gifts, and will just get whatever I get....i.e., no stress!!
Had a stressful morning, though - alarms going off, electricity out, NO INTERNET!!! Eeeeek!! Major FOCD!!
All is well now, though, and everything is back on! Whew!!

 

Real life has me super busy and the CR is nothing special. Will pass on this event as I've not completed the last few anyway. Please neighbors, don't send me the event drop.

BoHoKaren, Did you by any chance remove one of your givers from the CR to get more White Innocence? You might check to see.

Okay, can someone tell me how to make the dogs spawn to give them a Frisbee?

 

In the event window there is a dog in front of the progress bar. Click the box (for a check mark) to activate the dogs on your fields.

 

LOL!!!! One of the Pugs came out of my Hen House!!! Too Cute!! And there he stands on the steps, sniffing small pink flowers that edge my Pink farm!!

oohoohoohooh! I have PUGS on my FARMS! This is going to be my event!

I wish I had the time to spare in RL to really push both farms for the extra giver (PUGS again!), doubtful either farm will get much past the cloud row, though as I have just 2 weeks to the first Farmers' Market (the real life one that I sell at).

One thing I'm having a wonder over is the price of manure on the markets - we have had event after event needing manure so the price seems to be running around 500cc on both the markets I access. I am thinking of trying a strategy where I keep mostly pens on the bahamarama fields. Problem is, very few of the Baha animal pens give more than one manure upon harvest. So it doesn't actually yield much manure.

 

After the first two "building up" harvests, I have 176 chew bone stickers and 400 Frisbocollis (?) with two fields now covered in this pretty crop. Hope to get another full harvest in before bedtime. Think this drop rate is reasonable ... if it stays like that, of course.

Thanks to our number crunchers, Moraine and Zero, for doing the hard maths for us who prefer to stick our fingers in our ears and hum when we see complicated (IMO) FAQs issued!

Where the teachers will somehow pass the fellow who comes asking for refund of his entire tuition fee as he learnt nothinf from the school and is now jobless & useless.

Farm2: 169 (0 howies, 8 magic trees harvested)
Farm3: 162 (0 howies, 6 magic trees harvested)

The way I see it...
I'm going to do the main part of the event. Because... it's there! LOL!
As far as the Top 200 is concerned... The prizes are very seductive. In general the ppl that make that are the ones that are willing to spend RM. If I had that much money to throw away I would donate it to charity. I probably have enough SG, almost 3k. But if I dump it all in and I'm close, but not close enough... I will feel the need to buy multiple baskets, more SG, more SSG, etc... That said... by breaking it up into levels it should be easier for most players to qualify.
Most importantly I don't want to invest that much of my RL in a game.

OMG .. there are already people on the top 200 listing in my bracket. They must me rich and buy baskets by the bucket loads. No way I'm able to compete with them. I'm still waiting for my first full harvest..
The ones with $$ to spend on this game against the ones who cannot afford makes this an unfair competition.

Nevertheless I'll participate in the event and get whatever minor prizes the doggies give out. The Frisboccoli event plant gives very decent EP and thus is worth growing.

 

I also see players in the top 200 (top one already donated 76) and I haven't even gotten to mill any yet (along with most players). Provided the buyers haven't taken over there may be a few slots left over for us poor people....

 

I think there will be a lot of competition for my bracket. I agree with Ann. I hope there will be room left over after the big spenders for some farms to place in top 200. This puppy is all in for the dog event!

 

I have one farmer with 15 dogs. wow - didn't even think to check this early, that must be a lot of money. It does kinda takes the fun out of the competition. On the other hand/paw, they are paying for the game so, good on them. I will do my best anyway.

Ofc not, no sane person would like 3 grow and throw event in a row back to baclk. The rest of us are barking mad ....

Milling for 5 minutes - what were they thinking ? They should give us milling coupons. Being grumpy and complaining is a part of the event, but I'm sure I can do both with milling coupons

 

Frisbee milling time with Mill subscription and Tree of Wisdom rune active = 2m 15s.
I can handle that.

 

I see three players in the Top. Highest count of 40. LOL!

I'm using 12h coupons so I'll only get two event crop harvests a day unless I decide to leave a 7h crop in for more than 12h. That doesn't help with the event.

Chronic Event Fatigue Syndrome (CEFS) [or should that be ECFS]? is yet another reason to not participate in the Top Hall of Shame. LOL! Don't those people have a RL?!

@SuzeeRabbit They must have, somehow they must make the money they spend. Having something real, doesn't mean it's good and spending (to us) a lot of money doesn't mean it's a bad one either.
