More events without crops

Howdy all!

Recently I've noticed that a LOT of the events require special event crops, and there are no events of a similar style (donation style) that don't require them. I know that we have things like G&T, Moonlight Mania which has it's own separate field, wonder trees/stables etc. but there was once a time where we had events like the one we're having right now, that didn't require event crops. You donated drops, animals etc. but didn't have to grow anything new.

I'd love to see events like that return! We don't all have time to grow these crops enough to be able to participate, and many of us are working towards specific things on our own farms so either have to put a hold on that goal to grow event crops, or simply miss the event.

It's a shame that people who don't have the facility to grow the event crops can't participate! It would be nice if we could bring back some events that other people can also enjoy, because it's been a good few years since I've been able to actively participate in an event!

 

I'd love that too squiggle. I still think of the asparagus event very early on in Farmerama history.

 

But then players might think it's another "barn burner", wouldn't they? Just saying

 

I vaguely remember you had to grow or donate from barn, so you had an option. If you were lower level, any remain would be there waiting for you when you reach the correct level.

 

Potentially...in that case make the event about the drops. I love growing events but unfortunately 99% of the time that just doesn't work with my real life and I end up missing out event after event, constantly waiting for one where players who have busy real lives (which is most of us, I imagine) are included!
