    8) Has Belle met Tigga yet, or Freddy or Jeeves??:music::D
Two boys and two girls! Wonder what Elsa's will be??! I hope it is your third Bull!:music:

What a lovely, lovely herd of babies you have gotten!! Hector should be very proud!!

She's met them all. Katya isn't a very protective mother, so joined the nursery group pretty quickly... (I just hope she will be protective if a fox was about :( ). It is almost impossible getting a photo of them all together as they are little "live wires" but here's a couple of three together... Freddy is usually off doing his own thing. Once the others get older I am sure he will be taking them off exploring!

Freddy obviously takes after his dad! The babies are all so cute, I hope they are not minding this horrible weather too much!

Everything in your field is so lush. There is a lot for them to eat. Do they like to eat the buttercups? They look so pretty in the field especially with pictures of the babies.

They don't eat the buttercups, they don't taste very nice & they are mildly poisonous but don't worry, reindeer are very picky as to what they eat and in fact far better to cope with mild toxins than most rumens as they have quite large livers... They look pretty but the dandelions and clover are what they love. Along with willow and rosebay willow herb which I pick for them most days. :)

What fun to see the "children" out to play! I am sure some of the mums have their work cut out for them, trying to keep them safe and in line!;) How is Lotte doing these days? and does she get to be in the same area as the babies?

Lotte is with everyone else. The whole herd are together but they do have 2 paddocks open, at the moment, just in case new mummies need to get away from chaos. Lotte goes to say a gentle hello to the calves but she has mainly accepted that this year isn't her year to be a mother and hangs out with Hector most of the time. She's fine now. :)

Please to hear Lotte is doing well. I enjoyed the photos of the babies - perhaps you can do a video when you have a bit more time, so we can see the bouncing!:)

I am glad that Lotte is being "comforted" by Hector.

Took loads of photos & videos today (after days of rain). I will share this of the 2 baby girls saying hello - Tigga & Belle.
I haven't gone through my videos yet to see if any are worth doing via Youtube to share here (pictures are easier to see and share elsewhere). One video Freddy bounced Katya off her feet during feeding but I'm not sure if it came out... Will check and add later, if worthwhile.

Isn't it Tigger who is supposed to bounce people off their feet?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you've had your profile picture for a while. Is that Hector as baby? He and Belle look very alike if so. Was Katya ever that colour or don't you know?

There are probably answers to these questions in this thread, apologies. But 148 pages is a lot to go back through.

Yes Shimmer it is but I am unsure about Katya's colouring as she was an import that I purchased when she was about 10 months so had her winter coat on but my guess would be that she would have been this colour as her first Winter coat was very similar to Hector's first. The colour situation is always a lottery though. The palest boyfriend she's had, Monty, she produced a dark brown calf but her other two pairings have been to brown boys and she's produced 2 Hector look alikes... Twig & Ana, my dark brown girls, to Monty produced the grey and white girls. Presuming that the brown gene is a dominant but I really don't know.

Tigga saying hello to Katya, Belle's mother. It is wonderful that once the girls stop being overly protective of their own babies they start to look after the other babies too. :)

Karen do any of the other reindeer in your herd have little white tufts between their 'toes' like Belle has? It seems really unusual. :)
