I do get excited about the introduction of new stables but the Wild About Animal Series consumes so much PF. Instead of three new stables/workshops, could we have just one (or two at the most) at a time? Also, if we are to have new workshops be introduced for rare stables, could we also be awarded the stable to accompany the workshop? The kangaroo is an older rare pen and it was very hard to find one in Gift and Trade. I did manage to trade for one and was gifted as well so I have kangaroos to 'feed' the workshop but not everyone does. With breeding badges required ranging from 85 to 140 for each level, PF requirements are so high but very little awarded in return.

I hope that we can win them in other ways in the future. Perhaps in a quest, event, from the train or even the Shop O Rama shop.

 

I have notice that these Breeding Events are becoming much harder to do. The Reason is you have to consume very high amount of Power Feeds to do well in these Breeding Events.

Again, Again, Again you are giving us very very very mean amounts of Power Feeds Back as Rewards. Which does not motivate me and other farmers to do these Breeding Events. As it is selfish of Bigpoint to increase the amount of power feeds only to give us very mean or useless rewards.....

In previous Breeding Events you reward us with New Rare Pens or New Workshops this time it is Boxing Glove Factory, Pottery Shop and Penguin Habitat. We might get Quests asking for Latest Breeding Animal, Every now and then.

But it is not acceptable to make us or lure us to get these New Workshops. The simply fact there is hardly any quests demanding these latest workshops, Especially using an Animal that is not an Breeding Animal. There is always a Workshop Based Quest linking with New Breeding Animal.

If you look back at Wilder about Animal Breeding Event. We have Shark Lair, Hammock Factory and Salamander Den.....Guess What there has not been any Quests asking for these

It makes no sense at All to Get an Penguin, Pottery Shop or Boxing Glove Factory. When there is not going to be any Quests to be asking for this. I am not going to spend loads of Power Feeds when there is no logic at all to desire to Earn these Items...

In my View, Speaking on Behalf of all other farmers who play this game.....The Prizes Rewards just is not worth the amount of Breeding Badges or Power Feeds.....

I dislike the concept of Breeding Badges altogether as i am convinced that it does effect us to get less skips during Baby Boom Event. Which is another Issue not to enjoy Breeding Events as much as i would like.

Again Bigpoint is not listening to Feedbacks from Previous Breeding Events. As there was loads of Feed Backs to reduce the amount of Power Feeds to Enjoy and Complete Breeding Events in the past....Without Doubt there will be many postings to say other farmers will agree with me

You saying all this Feedback is taken into considerate to make Breeding Events More Enjoyable and Fun for Future Breeding Events....Why is this not happening....???

 

I love these events, love breeding, and love the new pens that are offered through here - but each time, the amounts of PF required are larger, and the amounts awarded are lower - why so stingy? You are alienating a large number of your players, rather than enticing them to buy PF. Hardly anyone still plays that was around when I first started, six years ago. If you make it fun, your players will line up and happily spend money to ENHANCE their play - but feeling like we HAVE to spend money, will make even the most committed of us throw up our hands and walk away.

 

Love the idea of the event (only a few days ago I posted a request for events that don't require crops!) but once again I will have to sit out. This game is marketed as a free farming game and whilst I totally understand that you need to make a profit (I have even advocated for your right to do so on many occasions), at no point should paying with RL money be a necessity for participation.

The PF requirements are simply too high for a player to farm for free and still be able to produce. Aside from the fact that milling such large quantities of PF takes an enormous amount of time (and even longer if you consider growing the crops), many players will not, and cannot, have enough powerfeed by the start or end of the event to be able to participate fully. Whilst buying the necessary crops on the market is a possibility, this isn't necessarily an option available to everyone (due to CC restrictions or availability on the market). Besides, the event should be accessible to a baseline player - a player who plays this farming game to farm.

If this is a farming game, then those who choose to farm their own feed ingredients should be able to participate. If this is a free game, then those who choose to play for free should be able to participate. Yet both these groups are rather unfairly excluded; not to mention the 20 levels worth of players who are automatically excluded from the event because apparently making an event that everyone can participate in is not an option. If you choose to farm rather than buy crops at market, you cannot produce enough PF (if you are starting from a low store of PF, which many are). If you choose to play for free, you cannot produce enough PF.

Paying in this game should be a way to make life easier for farmers. A way to speed up their progress. It should be a bonus, a benefit, for those who choose to pay. But if you are going to market this as a free game, then payment should not be a necessity for involvement. It should be possible for a player who does not pay, to participate in this event. And once again, it is not.

As a player who plays for free, I am once again forced to sit out of this event as I simply cannot do what is necessary, without paying, to participate.

 

I would like to participate in this event but I am unable to because I do not, will not, & can not have enough PF. I will not be able to mill enough either for the event due to the extensive amount of time it takes to mill PF.

I have less than 200 PF, due to the milling requested in the previous events, and I'm NOT going to buy any.
I once used to buy little things now and then for this game and the events, but now the money requests needed just to keep the pace are so greedy that lately I don't buy anything anymore.

 

It just gets easier to sit out your events. I loved the previous format... events were a thing to look forward to, to plan for, to prepare for, to chat with your friends and neighbors about. You could feel the excitement on the forum. It was contagious.
I loved the strategy sessions. I would make notes and lists so as not to forget something.
During the event I would sometimes stay up hours longer just to do one more thing. It was invigorating.
Not anymore. You have taken the fun out of your events. You can keep your paltry prizes, they are as depressing as your events.

 

I'm out as well. No point to try to do this event, the rewards are ridiculous. I don't complain about the amount of PF required, I do understand that this is how you make money however if that is the case and we are/want to spend money to complete the event then I expect outstanding prices. For years everybody has been complaining about stickers, they should be free. Now what I noticed in this event is that for my money spend I get 3 stickers as rewards.... yes 3 I guess this is new trend, spend real money get stickers.

 

Yes, this is a pay-to-play event. And I do not like it as a principle. Also I feel a rush in a must have all pens/trees as don't want to spend a lot of time earning CC to complete the quests that way.

Do I look forward to this event. No.
Do I enjoy breeding anymore ? No.

It is a chore, something I feel rather pressured to gain special pens. I'm starting to feel like a squeezed lemon, and it is slowly killing the fun. I can see and understand that you need to earn money. I don't mind spending some real money on a game I enjoy playing. But label the Hard = Spend a lot , just doesn't sit right. The Hard level should reflect the time needed to spend to complete an event, not the size of your moneybag. Spending money should be a bout making the farm-life easier, not a must in order to fully enjoy the game. When I find a less greedy farm game with as good community as there used to be (it's rather dead compared to how it used to be, but those that does use the forum are the greatest people online) I'll pack my golden goose and be off.

 

I do emphatically agree that it should be able to be played for free, as that is how it is advertised.

I also agree that it takes too long to mill power feed if it is going to be required to do Events. Perhaps the mill-time should be lowered, or the Baha mill be opened to milling power feed.
I agree with many of the things said here, however there are other points that maybe should be thought about/considered

That said, this game is structured to be similar to life....one must work for what one gets, accept the disappointments, and celebrate the achievements - whether it is advancement in the game or completing events, etc. No one can expect to have everything simply because it is in the game. It is a work/strive/achieve game.

When we start out in life, we start at square one - then we work to get to buy a home, or a horse farm, or a crop farm, or whatever path we choose in life. Most of us don't get it just because it is there and other people already have it. Nor should we - it would take the spice out of life! There will be many things we will have to wait for to achieve. That is one of Life's challenges, and the challenge of this Game.

But that is the satisfaction we get - to know we have gotten something because we earned it. It is what we do in life - go for the Brass Ring!! And sometimes it takes a while to get it....which only makes it that much more valuable when we do!
And sometimes we are surprised with free stuff!! Gifts, most welcome!! They encourage us to keep playing/striving...having fun doing it, too!! Because it is our life.

Most of us who've played a long time can remember how hard - sometimes even impossible - it was to get some things, and still can be.
Yes, it was and could be very frustrating. But that is how this game is structured - like life...work/wait/reward/...celebrate!
The Challenge is meant to be fun, an incentive to achieve, to build, to create.
The challenge to do this is fun - and the primary reason we get FOCD! We love to create something that is all ours!!

It does seem as if BP is squeezing us too tight to spend, spend, spend, though. They really should listen to their customers...before the balance tips too far in that direction and they lose them. They may be getting too close even now.

MY 2 CENTS ON THIS EVENT is this... this was for people who had saved power feed, willing to spend real money, had the coins to buy stuff in AH.

i went to 4 on both and the reptile will try to get to 2 since im going for 1... i think the powerfeed timer needs to be reduced in mill. the rewards , well some is good some isnt... but thats my 2 cents on rewards...

i agree BP needs to make money. I agree that players should choose to spend money if they choose too... without having to be forced by BP or to be joked at by players...(( my spellin sucks so will use other words to better help me say things...lol)) But at the same time... all players should be able to complete a event without spending money and without being a robot to the game to make sure we make the event.. this is a game.... lets treat it as such...

purpose to spend money is to make the event go faster completeling it or better prizes or what not.. i seen people talk about that... i see nothing wrong with people spending thier money on a game for better prizes.. now maybe a too good of a prize or to cheap but yet not all has money when said event happens.. alot gets left out for that... that should not happen.. i agree.. but the fact remains if BP offers such things they should make it least once a month or every 2 months. so some people can claim such prizes and stuff thats cheap... now thats a good way to make money....lol

i feel this way. I think all BP employees need to play the said event(S) without spending money , but play it as if they was a player only. And then give us rewards they think is good.. but that will never happen, cause for one they have to keep programing, less events repeat which alot if not all should.... even if crops reset to zero or 5 or 10 whatever the events starts us with. Least that way we can all be asured events are completeable.. spend money to complete it faster should be on the player... and im sure some will love to do that... i would if i had the money...lol

i loved that top 200 dog fresbee event... wish they had more of like it...

I feel this game has come along way since i have last fully played it... I was not here for such a tree like the BB tree. I also feel that should come back so people can get it..(and scented trees).. even if its a limited number of them you can get.... shoot i be happy with one.. but would like more... maybe give one in a event, and to get more from that ya have to pay a few real life dollars for it..limit one for RL money too if ya want to limit that also. but i would buy more if i have the money at said event/offer. WHERE DO I SIGN UP BP? LOL

 

Not happy that FAQ's misleading/incorrect that you get 2 Buddha hand trees but only 1 xxl tree it does not make any sense
After asking in technical as I thought there was a prob that this was pointed out, how many others thought there was a problem. Not even an apology that we were mislead. I believe we should get the other xxl tree as thats why I completed that step as I dont have these trees

 

sitting this one out not enough pf, animals, how many barn burner's can one farm take? my tree's are beat to death. o ya the machine's are on sale now 7bb's each cool. this is a breeding event, try bringing the sale back when we need it.

 

A "reward" of 4 power feed for a level that requires over 80 units to complete is plain insulting!

I have some stuff in stock, enough to get penguin, maybe a workshop, but the demands for this event are outrageous. Pretty much designed to make us buy powerfeed. Once again, the "free" fun game that allowed a community to develop has turned into yet another "pay or leave" internet game.

problem is who the h--- has the extra 118 BB'S i have 51.6 mil.cc's 880 star's we cant use them. cant trade for them g&t so now you want me to buy bb's Wrong Not A Dime.

 

This has nothing to do with work or achievements, its strictly about spending money and giving up extraordinary amounts of real life time. This is a GAME, not life, and the rewards here are purely transitory. Compare it to seeing a movie or eating at a fast food restaurant, but DO NOT confuse this with life or real worthwhile work!

This game USED to be a fun diversion, perhaps taking up "too much" time on occasions, but only now and then. Since the takeover, the demands to do event after event after event are continuous. Ironically, part of the problem is that the multiple rewards mean each one is less worthwhile. When you had to work and work to get certain cloud row items, strategize, work with others to complete tasks, asking for gifts, sharing gifts to complete tasks, it was fun. Now.. most o fht old time players are gone. Notice how the SOS threads are almost dead? This is an indication of how little folks care any longer. We have been burnt out.

Talk of "work" all you want, but this is a game, not life. Taking this much time and money for a time waster (which is, effectively what ALL games are) is too much. A little -- OK, fine. But this game has exceeded limits and this particular event really highlights the excess. I mean to giving 4 powerfeed and an extra large toolbox as a "reward" for 40 badges?????? You seriously are going to call that "working for acheivements??? No... thos of us completing these tasks are either going for the rare pens or breeding for other purposes and simply completing the tasks as a side.

That is sad, because it was not like that when most of us started. (though "most" is quickly becoming a meaningless few)

and yes.. I am slowly, but surely decreasing my involvement. I have enough cloud rows, etc that I can simply pop in now and then and play occasionally, but even that is hardly worthwhile any more. Habit, that is all it is.

 

Well Woody please dont leave us.. i agree the rewards on some things should be redone... and the comic which should and is repeatable... for the love of the game BP needs to redo the stupid pointless rewards... now some, at the town, them quests... some are way to much (not really to much but hey will take what i can get .. mainly since alot of them was pointless) but at same time we have to work for them... how do i know... because i still have them good quests...lol yes i also have alot and i do mean alot of pointless quests there... but since i been gone from the game so long.. arh nevermind...lol

whats even bad is breeding and gettin no badges or more of one that you have completed.... sorry i had the stuff and went more..but i got myself in a fix now.. im out of coins and powerfeed and have stuff on market not selling..rest i can add is not worth adding cause everything i can add is too cheap and not worth it...even the breeding of animals is cheap and yet they not even selling..

for the most part and this is the craziest thing i ever seen.. newt feed which i am sure has yet to been fixed... 100 cress but the time it takes to make , is far more painful then getting stabb when you goto market and try to sell it at a decent price.... its like pennies for something that shouldve been worth dollars...if anyone remebers what chickens was please let me know... they value them at 25 silver.. sell now on AH for over 1k silver.... im sooooooo sorry but do not ever remeber chickens being that high....but yet all the new stuff we get at lvls 90 plus is like silver when trying to sell at max... ?????? ok sorry but i know this is a game....... but ethier fix the limit of the price before you give to us as a reward or for the love of the game stop limiting the cost....or am i overwelmed by coming back to the game and i am jamming everything in and looseing myself??


point im trying to make here is for the makers of the game and the players.... we want good stuff the makers want money.. how can that happen when for one makers of the are greedy and players want everything for nothing? we are the players as the players may change the game will more likely always go on.. it has so far...lol and i know cause i more likely been here from the start every event was painfull cause us players had to deal with stuff not working... for the most part they fixed all that..i see alot of good items here and i missed alot too....

 

I've just had a longish break from playing and came back a couple of weeks ago to see how things had progressed. I'm not liking what I see and hear from other players. I would enjoy playing but I can't put real money into the game so I don' know how much longer I'll be here.
