Carnival Queen - Strategy Thread

Oh dear, I'm so confused about this event I will participate, because you say it's worth it Thank you so much for your help 12ss12 and zerodegrees Any strategy tips from long time players will be much appreciated

 

I really like the potential for possible great rewards for this event, so I'm going to attempt it. Not sure if I'll be able to finish but I'll try. I think I'm going to grow the 10,000 amaranth first, then take it from there. My first drops were very low but I didn't see anything about this event till this morning & so I didn't plant anything long growing overnight last night. From here on out I'll plant roses overnight till event ends. Good luck everyone!

 

Shimmer I hope so and by end of event my initial rant will be futile, knowing me it certainly will be.

At least it will keep me busy till I get farm timings back on track

Just grow event crop till you gather 10,000 of it. I think 3 or 3 1/2 harvest of 1x1 plots of all 5 fields will give you 10,000.
Tonight try growing roses or carnation or long crops for paper strips. Once you have finished event crops, replace 1 or 2 fields with animal pens and once all paper strips is collected, replace everything with animal or workshop pens.

That is Brilliant this Event has come back. The last time won so many lovely prizes such as Golden Bananas got so many of them now...

To all those who have not done this event before especially Newbies. For me being a veteran farmer. I Strong recommend or advised to do all you can with this Event. To get as many as 896 Paper Strips as fast as you can.

Then unlock Monkey Queen asap. But need to collect 2500 Candy Points.

Then put out all your Best Stables to get as many candy baskets as possible use buffs to reduce stable times at all times.

Using the Candy Basket, Collect lovely prizes from Monkey Queen. This is one of best events from Farmerama for quite a while.

It does not take long to get 10,000 Amaranths. But take a while to gain 896 Paper Strips. Good Luck and Enjoy

I have now got 43 baskets and 218 paper strips and 1,793 paints pots...have been collecting those for years
..so don't know how many have been dropped ...so NOT brilliant
And decorated one float
every square covered in aminals stables and trees etc etc
Having all the fields to use is helpful
Could just eat one of those chocolate bars
Last time we had this event ..we got lots of goodies ...so hoping it will be the same this time for us

About to harvest 2nd round of event crop so ok that way but only have 23 paper strips!!!!!!!!

 

Now I think I get the event FAQ - took me a while Would have taken me all day if it wasn't for your help and tips - so thank you again I'm also running really low on those paper strips - I only have 21 - LOL Well, I'm sure that will change Feed a couple of animals PF by mistake (a couple of pink frogs with 35 min. left on the clock and some other animals) This is not my day! All those prizes do look amazing so I'll keep at it!

And when you do that, don't forget to wear the shades

Silly me thought paint, referred to pain pallets, so I pulled out all my paint shops It's the tool!
So far I have squeezed out 111 paper strips out of my crop. And even some baskets

 

Well, it can be hard to tell which is which with shades on

 

another good reason to wear them

 

I really really want that ladybug pen so that is the first thing I will go for, hopefully will be able to get it on both my farms!codyj #44475068

 

Any thoughts on what kind of pens to put out? Time wise I mean. Or maybe it's still too early to really tell what will be good Oh I am def going for the Ladybug

 

Pens to put out regarding time frame....what time do you want to finish farming for the day? What time to do you want to begin growing crops again? Take the difference and consider water. That's the time of the pens you want to use.

For me...my crops will be done in 2 hours (7 pm). I am an early riser (5-5:30). That's 10.5 hours.

10.5/.8 water approx 13 hour pens. Since I want to put out bears, upgraded dogs and cats (for events rumored in grapevine) I will also have to use a Valentine's pot to decrease the time to suit me.

As always, keep your farm active so use pens that suit your farming style.

 

Ok. It is back to pirating. I just screwed up and made comfort fields with the event crop. Then, I panicked and took them out before I did the math on where I would be on them versus starting over in 5 hours with 5 new event crops to nuke. If anybody has any suggestions on how to recover best, I am all ears.

p.s. I could really use some CAC to hit the 10,000 crops for the event
