Drop rate fell drastically after first day, no time to prepare due to previous event (would have liked to rebuild corn/toms for power feed), and another started on top of this one and both need a mill. It also looks like you MUST complete the floats before you can even try to catch the candy drop... probably will not be able to even get to the second part of the event. We shall see.

I am so frustrated xD I am trying to build up drops and guess what? I couldn't log in last night, I have a Big Point and a Big fish account and I couldn't get into either one. So as a result couldn't plant my carnations and ended up with very few paper strips this morning. The game is still Slow! I bought the harvest helper and guess what, It did that in record time. Every time there are multiple things going I have this problem once the events are over everything is fine. If I remember right this happened last time and I never get to the candy toss. I really like this game but this is just so frustrating. Time for a time out to calm down. -.-

At first, this event seemed a bit 'meh'...but then I finally got to the Carnival Queen/basket part. THANK YOU, Big Point! Golden Bananas! and Farm Coins! and Power Feed! Oh, it was all worth it. Kudos to the development team on this event for making it soooo much better than the last time.

Monkey queen is great - love her
Extending the event due to tech issues
Magic tree gives no drop - this is NOT what we paid for.

    Dislike
    Short notice
It take ages to get to the queen and paper strip drops were quite slow in coming, which means that lower level farms that really need what the queen is throwing at them (much coveted GB) probably won't get there.
As @farmingfreebird said, the cursor being unseen results in the basket not moving because in our excitement we've gone off screen.

Like many others, not happy with the short notice and the fact that the magic trees don't give anything. Also, the monkey queen is a bit creepy to me, but that's just my opinion.

That being said, the stuff that flies off the float once assembled is awesome.

Keep going Sassy, as you can see I was one well annoyed guy at time of FAQ came out but I stuck with it with long crops, mind you real life put me in that position, and drops were/are quite good.

There will be guys in BP's offices somewhere saying what an idiot laughing at my initial feedback, now Im almost ready to join the carnival how wrong I was in thinking not going to complete event. But still annoyed at timing FAQ's came out to get farm ready for first harvest in relation to drops

Okay, love this game but frustrated doesn't begin to describe me at the moment. I keep falling off the screen as I can't see the mouse, so all these great prizes we have access too I'm missing. Ironically as soon as the game ends my mouse is there on the screen, so why not let me see it when I'm playing?

Events like this one keep the game a fun one to play. Not gaining a sticker for participating but plain daily usefull farming goodies in good quantities as a reward make a big difference. Love it! The event could've been announced earlier to lighten up the community spirit (and with that, the effects on event sales). I also agree on the highly annoying miss of a pointer within the mini game.

I would highy appreciate more sightings of the Monkey Queen and her mini game. Coupons to join and play the parade at any given time might be a consideration?

    My 2 cents.

Glad to see an event with good rewards back, and thanks for extending the time. Bummed that fixing the disappearing mouse pointer problem didn't make it to the priority list.

I agree with the mouse issue as the basket tries to be the mouse... i seen a lag of a sec or two at start... sometimes lags at end... could be game or my end... My real issue is the fact I caught some things and the game didn't catch it that I caught it in the basket... Other then that... I am soooo happy for this event....My first one of these... Its doable with the first set of time but not by much... least with the extra time we have been given , gives others extra time to get in game and also give many people extra time for them baskets... I do wish that one sell was still going on cause then I would've got me 100 baskets....lol Oh well, i want it now but cant, so maybe next time..

I don't have any issues with events like this that gives alot to us players as us players know the game will get all that stuff back and then some in next few events... But can we please have this event or another one like it by itself...for me the day the other event went live while this one was going my paper drops like have stopped for the day...Maybe it is me.. IDK but still...lol

Any how make sure that queen knows how to add or stop giving me baskets with holes in them... Cause i Know i got some things in them baskets but at the end didnt get them....Very THANKFUL FOR THIS EVENT... Thank You BP!!

Thank you BP for bringing some much needed fun back to this game! I have been playing for just 2yrs now and this by far is the best event! Yes, you have to work to get to the parade, but that is all part of enjoying the rewards the Monkey Queen throws your way!;) I will add that after working so hard it is NOT fun to have no cursor! I think "You" do that so we will be more challenged in getting the rewards, but, and I think I can speak for most of us, it is not fun! As usual great graphics and great fun!:inlove:

Part of the stress of this event was that I lost the last event and the prizes didn't look good enough to warrant trying. Catching the goodies took hours, as I had over 350 of them. However the extraordinary prizes for the made up for any stress from the event. I cleaned up with over 1000 coins (with which I got a magic tree). I won about 250 bananas, leveled up twice in regular and Baharama farms, plus a lot of super grow, power feed and other goodies. Given this AMAZING quantity of bananas alone, I am surprised that there are not more positive comments.

I put a lot of effort into winning events and I want to win them without purchasing baskets, or having to use tons of supergrow. Having said that I was able to win this one without spending money, and as far as productive quests this was hands down the most productive quest since I started farming. I have farmed on and on for many years, and the prizes were ultimately amazing.

Had I known how productive this quest as going to be I would have used supergrow throughout the first part so I could focus on raising animals.

For those wondering about strategy, I put my high value animals and workshops out from the beginning. Since I didn't prepare, I raised animals the first 24 hours because I had just planted them when the game was announced. The surprise worked to my advantage.

Overall I'd say stressful but well worth it.

Great event. Love the PF, GB's and Farm Coins.

Only complaint is that sometimes the mouse would get stuck when I was trying to slide it back and forth. It would be nice if you had the option of catching them with the baskets or trading in X amount of baskets for a list of rewards and then using any odd # of baskets to catch them manually.
i.e.: 50 baskets = ___ PF, ___ GB, ___ Farm Coins, ___ EP, etc. or suggestion by 12ss12 that each catch is worth more - we receive fewer baskets during the event but when catching the goodies we receive more per catch resulting in fewer mini games. WHOA! Hold the Bus Was it just suggested by someone that BP give us fewer event drops?

Love the gifts; but when you have over 100+ baskets it gets tiring.

    UPDATE: Event is now over
Farm 1: I was able to unlock access to Row 10 of the Monkey Temple and open 6 of the statues.
Farm 2: I was able to open last menagerie, unlock access to Row 10 and open 3 statues.
Farm 3: I was able to unlock access to Row 10 and open 3 statues.
Farms 1, 2 and 3: Received tons of PF. Due to problems Farm 3 received approximately half of what Farm 1 received (unable to do the last 59 baskets).
Farms 1, 2 and 3: I was able to buy the Shopaholics Magic Stalk Row that I wanted plus other items.

All of my farms had 380+ baskets to work with after gaining access to the Monkey Queen.
Farm 1 went okay with only minor problems due to my mouse not working correctly.
Farm 2 had same mouse problems but more frequently. I found out that this was because my laptop was getting too hot because I had been logged on for so long--turned the fan on it and it started working again.
Farm 3 I lost 59 baskets because of a lag in the game for the last 3 hours causing me to run out of time. My mouse was working properly but now the Monkey Queen would not move . When you have a couple of hundred baskets left to do this amounts to a lot of time waiting for her to start moving, restarting computer to check if that was the problem and also the delay after the float passed waiting for the results. The PF was approximately half of what I received on Farm 1. I don't want to complain too much about this because of all of the "goodies" received and because I didn't purchase any baskets to complete this one. Those who purchased baskets might feel differently though.

Also, the delay caused problems with the Parents' Day Event because extra time was spent trying to collect the Monkey Queen goodies instead of harvesting crops when done. There appears to still be enough time to finish this event though.

Amount of PF received will help out on the upcoming Cats vs Dogs.

Still have to rate this as a Great Event.

    UPDATE 2: Extension
After such a long event I was taking a break. Checked back in and didn't notice that the game was extended because I was concentrating on Parents Day only. Waited awhile longer and then checked back in again to find that the Carnival was extended (only 1:56 left on the clock). I was still able to fill my baskets for Farm 3 and earn a couple more; Farm 2 was able to earn a couple more and fill them. Farm 1 was just out of luck because I ran out of time again.

    Thanks for extending the game.

Well real life took too much time so did not get enough drops to finish decorating the floats so once again did not even get to the second part of the event. I can not purchase anything with gift cards- system keeps giving me errors and Big Point support has been no help in resolving as they say "we do not see any transaction- try again" so there is no way I can finish any of the events for "free" where years ago you actually could finish an event without dumping money to the game. This is highly frustrating and will consider not doing any event as I can not believe I will be able to finish any of them. And with no movies- VERY difficult to get BBs.

I can't say enough how wonderful this event was... 365 GB (including those from levels due to collecting EP too), loads of PF...
Carnival Queen is one not to be missed... Thank you! :)
Edit... Sassy, I didn't spend a penny/cent but just kept farming and rewards were beyond...

great event until the last 2 hours when the lag made it horrible.

I waited for the game to end for over 12 minutes and finally has to force close the game, thus loosing the basket and results. Out of 9 baskets used in 75 min only 2 made it to the finish with results. I still have a bunch of baskets but will not be finishing because of the lag and loosing baskets that start and don't make it to the finish. I think this is because every one is delayed in doing the baskets until later in the event and now in the last few hours they are crushing the server with too many playing at once trying to finish in time.

Relative easy event, The mini game offered a lot of good prizes. Personally not a fan of repetitive mini games, but all in all I think this was a success. This event as an annual event works well. I think I'll give it a 10/10. Yes some technical flaws, hope they improve by next year.
