Carnival Queen - Strategy Thread

This is the second year we've had this event, Lily_pink. I think yearly is enough. Much as I love this event I wouldn't want the entire game to revolve around it, which I think it would if held quarterly.

Also, is anyone else finding their fields slowly, mysteriously overrun with chickens and parrots?

 

Here the cats and dogs are fighting with each other and the koalas and pandas don't like each other either

ARRGGGHHH!!!! My game has been dragging so badly this morning that I am missing everything Did all the usual and shut down my comp but it didn't make a difference I got 1 bonbon in 1 basket

 

No more baskets But i did pretty well from this event

When is the next one

Anyway when i have harvest my chocolate field ..I should have all of the parts of it open hopefully

Currently there are reports that the game is very slow. This also affects the example in the carnival event.

The technology is already informed and looks at the problem.

A tip for the mini-carnival in the carnival: When the basket is at the end and the car has already left, please wait until the game ends by itself. If you reload in this situation, you do not get a winning player displayed. ​

 

Yes i know i lost 2 baskets with the queen... one time with me having empty basket and the float not moving and second time i filled the basket and the float left... sorry but i had no choice but to reload... nothing else i could do but look at the screen with or without the float there...

Not complaining as i got alot of goodies.... but its the whole game lagging and not just the Carnival game

 

I got an incredibly late start to this event due to illness and I've finally made it to the Queen! Now I've got an hour and half to go through over 200 baskets and the game is glitchy but I'm having fun, right?

 

I still had 190 basket on hand, lucky that I had finished event, those basket
is extra bonus. It's 2:37AM in my time zone, I just think should I forget all those
basket, left this game and go to bed.
Waiting the queen's boat move.....
waiting the mini game end by itself..
I wonder if I will fall asleep when I'm waiting!!!!

 

I got this error too. I waited for ages, well, 30 seconds but it felt like ages, and the end screen came up as normal. It's worth waiting a bit.

 

I have managed to use up all my candy baskets. The Monkey Queen Mini Game, started to play up in the last hour, slow start and delay to get pop up of rewards won in candy basket...

Yes Zerodegrees pointed out that Farmerama Servers are playing up making this game slow, Lagging, delay jumping from field to field etc... This Event had already been extended by 32 Hours with Teething Issues when this Event Started. It seems to put huge strain using the Flash which has been very glitch lately...

I had about 900 Candy Baskets. I am relived got them out of the way in time. I am not experience some Issues other farmers are experiencing

 

OK, after play 10 games,
Now, maybe the Monkey queen like me>>very tired!
She order the boat to rest. I wait for 5 min, It just don't moved!!!
I make up my mind,no more waste of time,
let the "Servers" work better(without me) , I will log out the game!

Well, this is not so fun.
I've got a fair few stables timed to finish in the next hour for maximum baskets.
Just moving from field to field takes ages, and the game takes an excrutiatingly long time.
I'm getting reeeeeealy sick of watching that loading flower.

 

I got down to 90 baskets and 2 hours left. I was confident I would finish and then the mini game started misbehaving. I have used 9 baskets in the last hour and 15 minutes and been able to complete only 3 games because it seems to just stop either before the float moves or after she leaves the screen. I sit there waving my basket but nothing. I waited 1 time for 12 minutes and then force closed the game.

I have done all the things they tell us to do and all it does is eat my baskets. I am calling a close to the event and this has left a bad impression on me as it was so good and I had over 700 baskets in total and have gotten over 300 golden bananas, 500 feed and over 1000 farm coins. I had high hopes for my last 90 baskets and a 3 field of stable harvest that is coming up after I finish this post. There is still another 40 minutes to go, but I am done.

edit: I am left thinking there are too many players all trying to access the mini game and it is just over loaded.

 

yup, that was my thinking too. I suffer from the same thing. But as the basket count goes down, and the game freezes when HRH Monkey Queen leaves, I'm hoping I'm still getting credited what I gathered during the game. Are you sure yours are lost ?

 

I had flash player for days messing up the game and sometimes booting me for stopping it
Think they need to spend some time getting the game right ...instead of making back to back events ....we have had 3 all together

and no winnings either

But on a more personal postive note: I'm done, and I have logged out so there's one less player clogging up the system.
Total GB gained was around 450. Already spent some so 380 left, to save or not to save them all is the question. Also had a nice bunch of FC stocked up now. If you feel a wind, don't worry, it's only my tail wagging. Chuffed to bits over my winnings

 

Done! I've logged out and will not log on for another hour I hope everybody finished their baskets even though the game is lagging

 

Definately a case of server overload. The moment the event ended, gamespeed returned to normal. At least it seems like it.
Pity the last few hours were a real struggle. I've lost a few baskets too but managed to use up all the ones I gained in small quantities when timed event stalls got ready, I even did one in the very last minute! ZERO baskets left. Phew.

Time to tally up all the the goodies gained.
