Feedback Carnival Queen

Server/game lag prevented me from playing 50-60 or so baskets on 2 farms the last hours of the event.
Extremely glad I did not purchase 100 baskets for each farm today.

I appreciate the extension and the opportunity to play my remaining baskets, tho I'm still not happy that several of my baskets and/or basket loads of caught prizes were lost and not booked to my inventory when the game was completely freezing up.

 

The event just ended and I am disappointed that there was such a lag and freezing up in general of the game. This made it impossible to finish filling my baskets(greedy person that I am) but I'm sure it was an overload in the system of many players trying to fill their baskets. Other than that, I absolutely love this event and look forward to the next time!! Thanks for the extra time also!!

Edit: I suggest that maybe BB's could be dropped. It doesn't mean it has to rain them but a few would be a pleasant surprise

 

i loved this event. it wasnt too hard to get to the monkey queen and then wow...i leveled up several times in Baha and got close to it on the main farm. got a bunch of power grow and bananas bananas banananas. woo hoo...i'm so excited about it i cant type....my seven year old son likes this game and often pays attention when cool stuff is going on, but the other night he walked by while i was playing the parade and says "WOW! It's a monkey throwing candy!!!" I thought it was pretty cool too.
i didn't like that another event came on at the end.. i didn't get as many baskets after that. i don't like it when they overlap events.. too much at a time...
overall Hooray for the Monkey Queen!!!

 

An AMAZING event slightly spoiled by the techincal problems at the end. I loved the prizes (of course) and found the mini-game soothing to play rather than stressful as a few people seem to have found it.
The end of the event was pretty bad though. I timed a lot of stables to finish shortly before the end and then had real trouble harvesting them and didn't have time to use all the baskets as the game was running so very slow. I'm not terribly chuffed that I paid BB for more baskets and then had baskets left at the end. It feels like a waste of BBs.

I was left with about 15 baskets that i should have had time to do, but for lag/freezing...

 

Love the Monkey Queen This event is as good as G&T which has been my favorite event for a while

Maybe make the paper strips drop number less demanding - that way low level players can join - but otherwise perfect!

 

Wonderful event, sad ending.

 

I think the baskets need to be saved for next time or have the basket drops stop like 2 hours prior to the end of the event... even if that means 2 hours longer of the event.. this way all who has made it, will be or should be out of baskets close to the end and the rest of the players who was joining late and even those who cant be here all the time, to get some goodies with whats left in the time frame... NOT saying it will stop the lag but i do strongly feel it will reduce it...And to better give some people who needs to finish the time to finish without so much of a lag.... just my two cents worth..

Other then that, again I loved this event.. I am also glad I had to work for it... just to start the event , it would've made it just ok...lol But I almost thought for awhile there I wasn't gonna make it... With the extra time , it really helped... I also feel like maybe 1 or two less paper strips needed for each one?

This was the first time I was playing an event like this and I was definitely NOT expecting so many wonderful goodies. Well done BP!!
The lag/freezing for me was not a big thing, as I was going out for dinner three hours before the event ended and had prepared to be without any baskets at that stage. So it worked well for me, even when the last 5 baskets were really lacking and when I came back home could not login for half an hour or so (my post in tech issues was only to show, that the problem from the original poster was not a single individual fault).

Imho it would have been better to announce the event earlier so that preps could have been done. This time it was hard to get to the monkey queen for lower level players. Eventually this could be changed for the next time this event is running.
In addition I would suggest, that the monkey queen could "run" longer than the event officially is, so that all baskets can be used up, IF the player is in the event layerbefore the event officially ends?? OR, as already suggested, keeping the baskets for the next time (like the party tickets, farm coins etc), even if that would mean having them in the barn for more than a year.
All in all I LOVED the event.

I love this event, however, the queen keep freezing and took hours to play baskets cause I had to reload. Was also a surprise
about event glad it was extended also Not sure how many baskets lost or prizes lost not happy about that at all.

Thanks for Bring back this Fantastic Super Generous Event. This is my 2nd attempt at this Event. This time i managed to get more Candy Baskets and Much more prizes too.

I was lucky to get all of Candy Baskets out of the way Early before the servers was at breaking point. Without Doubt the most Generous Event from Farmerama to date.

I might be the First to say this. I have no need for any more GB. Unless there will be New Temple Statues to unlock.

 

After last years event I knew what was coming, I didn't have alot of prep time beforehand but I managed okay. The rewards were off the scale for me even though there's so little time left for the other event. It was great to have such a bonanza. The last hour of the event I was plying my last 12 baskets everything slowed down to a crawl; the servers must have been on overdrive to keep from crashing. What's next?

I think a small change might be made to save us from physical strain and from being glued tot he computer screen for too much of time. Now we catch one golden banana. Instead if we catch a GB in the basket, let it be 3 GBs or so. Same way for PFs, SGs etc., Their numbers per catch may be increased. To balance or maintain equlibrium, Candy basket drop rate may be decreased. So we play less number of mini games but get the same amount of rewards. Our health and time may be preserved.

 

Well done BP, hopefully those that had issues can reap the rewards

I agree An extension of the event is a perfect way to compensate for technical problems

 

I LOVE this event. Best Ever. I lost control of my basket and while it was sitting there a golden banana floated right in. When I found out we were doing Carnival Queen I put that one first, and everything else when I could. Thank You BP. Please bring her back again soon.

 

OMG best event ever. I didn't really understand the event last time Carnival Queen was here so didn't get to capitalise on it that well but I certainly made up for that this time around. BP also did great with the two extensions of the event due to technical issues so everyone should have had a fair opportunity to finish & get lots of extra goodies. It is time consuming but well worth the effort & would love to see it back at least once a year. Thank you BP
