What makes Farmerama fun for you?

There's no wrong answer. I'm just curious to see what brings other players back every day.

Is it the Farmer's Society Quests, the special events or just the idea of having your own garden because in reality the gardening gene skipped a generation or is it just something you do when you have idle time?

 

Love games, always play at least one online game that last "forever"
Something to do whilst I do other stuff (like watching TV, listen to an audio book )
Love the events, why I came back to farmerama.

The quests

My reasons, in no particular order

 

Like Moraine, there are many reasons I like playing this game too.
-I like to create/design/build, especially homes/land/associated things...and in this game wish there was more time to arrange my farms.
-Also love to garden and grow things - love animals, too.
-This game is challenging, and we are constantly learning new things!
-The people are interesting, especially since they are from all over the world....it is also interesting to learn about other countries....and good to know that we are basically caring, giving people - no matter where we are from!
-All together, this game really suits me.

My mom has the green thumb in real life. I don't. But I have my farm and go back and tell her that my crops harvest faster than hers.
I can't keep up with special events and I can't do most of the FSQ quests, but I try and do what I can of the FSQ... trying to decide which is the easiest to do makes my head hurt though.

I love working towards things! It is really therapeutic and rewarding to complete goals and achieve things, whilst also remembering that if it goes wrong it doesn't actually matter. I've played this for about 7 years now (lawd help me) with breaks here and there (took about a year off at one stage) but I keep coming back to it because it is such a rewarding feeling to make "progress"!

 

I am a hoarder so I keep as much as I can. I rarely buy anything as I like to grow everything myself. This means there is still loads to do in the game, especially in the Farmer's Society. The trouble is that stuff gets used! I have a good stock of feed which is where most of my crops/tree fruit goes. If push comes to shove, I can always sell some. I really enjoy seeing what I have grown/bred myself.

 

I'm goal oriented. I like finishing the quests and events. I like the communications with other players and the satisfaction of growing, planting and completing the different tasks. I played TM games from 2007, before I found Farmerama 2012. The variety and fun aspect (when applied) has kept me coming back.

I have a retired husband, who watches sports and news. When he does, I can go into this world and achieve just a little bit more, when it is fun. I've opened all of Baha, now to get caught up on Breeding.
