Strategy: The Fruit Market

Decree, I have Amended my post, removed the Bit amount getting Wonder Fruits from Trees. I just resume back to my Strategy to make CC and Stock up on Animals Instead of doing this Event.

The Reason cos i have 3721 Farm Coins in my Shop - O - Rama. Plus All My Barn Fruit Stock has just increased in value. No not motivation for more Farm Coins for me

 

I fully understand that many of us have event fatigue. However, not all players have reached the same farming destination that others have and may not have the amount of farm coins stashed that others have from the Carnival Queen. Not all players have purchased what they want from the Shop.

That being said, this time around for the Fruit Market, the wonderfruit is worth more than it has ever been worth and is higher than any fruit available for donation. If you need a rest and your fruit inventory is low, put your farm in trees, use Pineapple cake when you harvest Baha trees to increase your fruit harvest, and see what your drops are.

Last time, I got 850 wonderfruits and at 1250 value this time, that would be over 1 million worth donated without touching my barn.

Just offering a different point of view for anyone who may wish/need to get some farm coins. If so, good luck. For those who don't, have a good rest.

 

Agree. The Monkey Queen's visit has spoiled me.There's no way I'm giving away so much fruit for a farm coin or two. But I will try to maximize my drops and toss in all the Wonderfruit I manage to collect. I need to boost my stocks of tree fruit anyway, so I welcome the event and the chance at getting a few extra (free) coins.

 

I don't think the tables -poppyseed- provided will be all that useful for this event, unfortunately.

Here are the first 2 steps from the Spanish FAQ:

The requirements for the 2nd step of the medium and large deposits are different from the amounts in the last Fruit Market event earlier this year in February.

The FAQ also says the formula is different for this edition of The Fruit Market.

 

I believe they are actually. I think where you seem to be a bit confused by what was posted is that @-poppyseed- provided the cost per coin, not the overall cost of the deposit which you have posted. Cost per coin is far more valuable for players to know.

 

Here are the requirements for the first 2 steps of the medium and large deposits in the last Fruit Market event:

This event is a bit more expensive per coin starting at level 2 for the medium and large. They just love making things difficult Still, anyone donating can just divide the BV required by the number of coins offered to determine the best per coin donation cost.

 

Ok, I do see the difference. I still stand behind the information as being useful, even though it isn't 100% accurate when calculating cost per coin. It's useful without being correct because any formula change will only impact the actual cost per coin, whereas the list is still going to contain the correct order in which the cost per coin is cheapest. So anyone following the information is still going to get the cheapest cost per coin, the only factor is that they're going to be paying more than is actually stated on the spreadsheets.

Having said that, I can honestly say this event isn't beneficial to anyone, including newer players who weren't able to take advantage of the last event. The cost per coin has only increased, and as a percentage of their barn it's even higher. There's no CR on the line, and unless there's a specific limited item in the shop which is needed, there's really no reason to burn the barn for farm coins at this time.

 

It's hard to say because the requirements for the small deposit seem to be the same. If they kept the numbers the same for the small deposit and only changed the required amounts for the medium and large deposits, the order may shift around a bit. Who knows.

The Hungarian FAQ also says that the increases are not regular... whatever that means...

 

Hi zerodegrees & others. Thanks for all the strategies & tips. Have doubts about doing this event as previous one drained my tree fruits. So did other events and my barn is poor in trees. May be will skip it.

 

This is a wait and see event. Depends on when drops actually start and how many I get will be what I use.
All trees out with rest of fields filled with pens to fill up animals especially cats, dogs and bears for upcoming events. Also with been able to get breeding runes done next baby boom event should be fruitfull

 

After Carnival Queen and her generosity with farm coins, hell no I'm wasting my precious fruits to obtain one miserable farm coin for this event.

P/s how do you all know that we need cats, dogs and bears for the next event?

Well, this event is good for one thing.. I found out over the course of time I gathered enough trees to cover all the fields!
Planning to have a single =trees only= harvest, just for the fun of it and to reduce the incredible amount of SSG the Queen threw at me.
Already did spend over 600 Farm Coins on Toolboxes and Free Spins but still have well over 5,000 FC left. Obviously this Fruit Market Event is a no go for me

 

Ok now I will say this... For DUMMIES like me... we will want the charts of what cost total of each set... now if you like to add the increase amount on the side great but it will also be in the math at step two and etc... Oh and also the total to get to step two should be known ahead of time... as like say step 1 is 100 and step 2 needs 500 ... now what would be simple has become hard with people saying this and that about what it costs... well step one was easy as it was the first one....lol after that do i need 500 cc's or just 400 cc's? see is it 500 total or 500 for just step 5.. so please remeber farmers like me just cant read very good.....lol

also yes i will add, i will do what i can on this event... but im pretty smart about some things....lol and you all are right for most part... VALUE has gone way up since i last played... looking at some of yalls comments about the avg/cost whatever it was... of each step vers value of the fruits yea i too agree this event... should just skip us...

that being said... if you like me you got one monkey queen event and see things to spend them coins but you are hunting coins.... this event will be very tempting to those people....i did manage to get the stalk out of it... maybe i wasted my coins i dont know but thought it was good so i went for it....now trying to build them back up to see what to buy next..

so will like 1 field of trees get me a few steps? i am really wanting to knock as much of these quests in town out.... did 4 timed quests so far in last 2 days... if the cost of fruits wasnt so high... then i dont think it be worth me adding trees to all fields huh?? but with the drop item we can use also to trade in... i maybe can get a few coins out of this event... but no way will i worry over not getting anywhere on it... not worth it...

To other Farmers who is very low on coins and see goodies in shop.... do what ya can.... but please there will be other ways to get these coins.... so worry more to level up and do some quests in town that has a few coins in it.

 

Well, I decided at the last minute to put some stables away and put out some trees using a 1 hr coupon. Should be plenty of time, right?? Game kept freezing up, had to refresh, started getting annoyed watching the time tick down Therefore my Baha field is a mess I was trying to place my trees in groups so tomorrow I could put all my XXL in one area and my regs in another group. Gotta have some kind of order I'm going to see how the drops are and go from there. Figures since they upped the value of the Wonderfruit, I will give it a whirl and see.

 

Really looking forward to this event. I am in desperate need of farm coins right now. I have also had all my trees out for several weeks now, in a bid to grow a huge number of fruits before the next Trans-Seedlantic Express event (if these even exist any more!) where I will be giving away almost all my trees. So I have a lot of fruits to donate, and a lot of trees to get drops from - hoping this event will do me well!

 

Just have had a look at the French FAQ
They have an increment of

small 7.25% per step based on the value of the step before.

middle 6.18% per step based on the value of the step before. (eg step 1=72,000 , step 2=72,000*1.0618=76,452 , step 3=76452*1.0618=81,179 etc... step 20=225,127)

large: 5.126% per step based on the value of the step before.

If the French mods are brave enough to write down the numbers, I suspect them to be correct. So far I haven't put out any more trees, so I'd probably skip the entire event. Best of luck to you all
