Strategy: Little Helpers 2017

The question now is whether or not I can get enough drops in time to make the skewers. Using the fruity pancake and 1x1s I imagine (though I've not calculated) that I should get enough crops to make the required skewers (need 8 more to finish the quest) but not sure if I will get enough drops or not. Ideally I would like to be able to donate to the crate as well, but right now I'm aiming just to get through the 10 skewers the event calls for. I imagine 1x1s will give me better drops but not entirely sure. At this point I need a total of 128 drops and I have 60 in stock so I might be ok after a few 1x1 harvests?

 

I'm also done with the event as soon as my 3 last Grilled Rainbow Corns are done milling I'm so glad I skipped task 6 in the quest. I'm still taking my time and slept about 10 hours last night which I really needed after the Monkey Queen's visit. I hope to get a couple of crates but I'm not going to stress about it. According to the FAQ the rewarded crate contains 13 different prizes and for each crate we open we'll get 1 out of those 13 prizes. That's a 1/13, or a 7.69% chance to recieve the prize one desires the most.

Made me go hmm.

 

Or as us empty-glass people say: a 92.13% chance I will get something I don't want. I know my luck

I'm milling my 7th, another pancake day tomorrow, and I think this will be in tha bag with me as well. There's still half a day on Saturday

 

To everyone sending me skewers please stop and send to others who need them... I have more then enough... i only need 4 more grilled corn and dont think i will even make that... i lost to much time due to sleep , life and the quest that ended way before it should have for me to get another buff...

Also I am so sorry I thought i had my gift notice on but it was off.. I did turn it on and returned all gifts that was sent to me since i turned it on. Yes next event you can start back on me again if you like. I do thank each and everyone of you for helping me... I need so many things from being gone from this game that every little thing helps me. Thank you so much...

Think i have got all the skewers....now have to get all the rainbow corn ...Have a feeling i am not going to make it to the end of this event..have just got the suzys super grow ...have got another 7 steps to go

I am not prepared to spend money on a game that is advertised as a FREE game that gives me lag and old wonder stables and trees basically every time

We should have all been able to use manure or CAC ..

 

Have just done level 4! Have all the skewers to finish. Have used up all my pancakes.

Hahaha, great strategy Decree I actually want about 9 of the crates so I think my chances are ok And if I stick to my plan, I'll be able to get 4 crates

 

Yet Another Event and another and another

 

Just did my last harvest (out of time) and have missed getting the bananas and cloud row....even after being up every morning @ 4a.m. harvesting. I do not 'get' why they made it so difficult to grow things on such a limited field, especially if they expected any 'donations'. With 132 skewers left over, and only 5 crops left after replanting, it seems a bit out of balance to me. Too few crops left over after replanting, and too many required to make a rainbow corn considering the restrictions on being able to grow enough corn per harvest.
I like a challenge - I do NOT like a frustration. I like the playfield and the concept, but next event like this - I will probably give it a Pass!!
Half a thumb up...thumb and a half down, because of crop growing restrictions.

 

I didnt get anything useful out of the crates, out of two farms, i think i had about 5 crates and only got EP in each one, glad I didnt have to use up my regular farm space growing the corn.

 

Didn't manage to get the cloud row or a crate (which I had really been hoping for) but glad for the rewards I got. PF, stars and GB are handy and givers provide good EP - I am happy overall as I lost nothing by doing this event. Not happy about how challenging it was, but glad that I wasn't disadvantaged in any way - I still gained, even if I was not in the privileged position to gain everything on offer

 

Thanks to skipping most of the additional quest I was able to get CR and 6 crates. Just opened them and got

Didn't have much fun with this event but at least it feels like I got something for the time and effort to plant and replant the field.

 

I did get cloud row and 4 Crates. Nothing wonderful with the Crates. I did only parts of Smashing Barbecue that was worth doing. As 3rd fruity pancake was not worth doing nor any level 6 prizes

This event did not give me any fun at all really cannot use Buffs etc it was just like working on a timed Farmer Society Quest no difference really. No Impressed Sadly.

 

I did get the 3rd fruity pancake because we had been awarded 1100 rainbow corn in step 2 and the redwood tree is a rare tree that I only had one of and it was worth it to me to convert 502 Maple sap fruit into getting 3 rare trees I wanted. I finished the event (not the quest) with 4 crates. My results were EP, SG, CC and 1 stable that I don't know what it is yet. I'm happy with the stables and trees from the quest. It was a bit stressful but I think part of that is because it was combined with so much going on with other things on the farm. Had it been a stand alone event, it would have been fine.
