Deposited the coins and got 1 FC. Not going to deposit any fruits. Tomorrow early morning going out of station and it will be easy to skip the event. But I do not know if I will finish the other event - Little helpers.

I'm not even donating the drops: " Each Wonderfruit will be exchanged for 50 EP + 50 CC." <- I like this option best, so going for that. Pocket change, and a drop in the ocean for my level 100 goal 8)

Drops are terrible. Not worth the tree fruit so I will sit this one out too! Just trying to get the corn for my skewers. :)

    Nice find, @clonahmon! :)

The Czech FAQ also says the small, medium, and large deposits increase by 7.25%, 6.18%, 5.13%, respectively, of the value in the previous step. However, when I used those formulas in my spreadsheet, I didn't get the same numbers as the French FAQ.

This must be what the Hungarian FAQ meant by the values not being regular... :sleepy:

Anyway, I copy-pasted the numbers from the French FAQ into my spreadsheet and it's just as I suspected - the order based on cost per coin is quite different from that of the previous Fruit Market event.

Added a couple of tables to the original post. ;)

    Thank you zerodegrees.
The percentage has actually 5 digits, so the french rounded up and down ;)
The total increase of donations from February to now is more than 42% only in the small category. I don't even want to know, how much more it is in the middle and large category. (small this time means total of 847K fruit to 590K fruit for 20 steps in Feb)

I am definitely out and enjoy my farming style until the next event comes around the corner ;)

    @clonahmon

    That would explain it. :p

First 20 steps in previous Fruit Market event:

    Size
    Delivery Total
    S
    590,000
    M
    1,953,000
    L
    5,544,000
    Total
    8,087,000

First 20 steps in current Fruit Market event:

    Size
    Delivery Total
    % Increase
    S
    842,712
    42.83%
    M
    2,701,443
    38.32%
    L
    7,507,049
    35.41%
    Total
    11,051,204
    36.65%

The first 20 steps for all 3 sizes combined would get you 240 farm coins, but you would have to spend 2,964,204 CC more in EV this time compared to last time for the same number of coins. :wuerg:

Not to mention how tree fruit prices have gone up (not down) due to inflation because of all the recent barn burners.

So in a nutshell, simply put, this event is not worth doing even if you are just using wonderfruit? And if one did want to sue their wonderfruit, would the S, M or L be the best category?

Since I needed to stock up on tree fruit anyway, I put out trees in 3 fields to see how many coins I could get only using the drops I collect. I got 118 Wonderfruit overnight. Following the cheapest donation path, it takes 111 drops to get 6 coins. And it only gets more expensive as you go. Definitely not an event I'll waste resources on, but, I'll keep tossing in the drops to see how far I get.
Julie, I followed Zero's path (added to her initial post.)

IMHO even when the drop rate would be 200% on each and every tree, this event isn't worth a single donation. Best return, profitwise, is to keep any Wonderfruit and wait for its conversion.

Enuf said. Back to "normal" farming here.

    Keep smiling!

Participating in this event with drops and fruits. I have a huge store of fruits so will be using up some of those as I really need coins, but won't be stretching the limits of my barn - I will get as many coins as possible whilst still keeping my barn store at a high level. Very poor conversion of fruits paid to coins, but a good opportunity for me to get lots so sacrifices must be made! I can afford to. If I couldn't, I wouldn't. Definitely agree with other strategies to not participate though!

I shall just use the drops and get a few more coins. Although there is nothing in the shop I want immediately , the items do change so I may want something in the future.

    Update from the DE forum:

Currently there is a small problem with the deposit in the event. If you deliver the exactly required counter value, the system does not recognize the task as fulfilled. A further deposit, eg of 1 apple, then fulfills the task.

    The problem is already reported.

From what I can gather, the problem appears to be due to the fact that the formulas used result in delivery values with several decimal places. The display rounds up or down to the nearest integer, but the algorithm that calculates how much actually needs to be donated doesn't.

For example, in the 2nd step for small deposits, the display reads 21,450 (rounded down) but the game actually expects a donation of 21,450.15068. So if you only donate the exact amount shown in the display (21,450), the game will see that as being 0.15068 short of the required amount; that's why you need the extra apple to fulfill the task.

@zerodegrees they have never heard about the difference of numbers displayed as integers and the formula using the rounding to an integer:p:p

They probably just forgot to apply the formula to that part. :p
I wouldn't be surprised if the Game Team was having trouble keeping up with all these events, just like us players. :sleepy:

Z don't count on it, they forget nothing it stopped being a game a long time ago. it's all about the dollar's just take a slow real look at everything, how the movies work and when, the wheel how that work's look at all the big tickets you go threw, what do you get not much. look at the trees you buy look at what you get not much, look at everything they forget nothing.
