I like this type of event, and having its own playfield. I dont' even mind that we can't use our enhancements on this field. I did NOT like having this going on during another event, and I did NOT like the separate quest, making MORE demands on us, and I did NOT like that the separate quest ended early, and was very difficult to complete if you have a job or like to sleep. I agree with the posts above that this game is becoming more and more stressful, less and less fun. We've been saying for years, if you make it fun, we'll spend the money - but if you make it so we have to spend the money or it's not fun - we'll quit playing, or quit spending what we do. Listen to your players - you're driving us away with the unreasonable demands, and exhausting pace.

A challenging level playing field for all, where no buffs can be used is fine. That, regrettably, is my only positive comment.

There is no fun and little reward for this event. Cons - Doubling up events; short timing a quest; a obvious pay to finish scenario (unless one can do without sleep or avoid RL work and home requirements); crop times that are a pain to work with.

I recently lost a long time neighbor and have two more flashing. The reasons given - tired of multiple events with little break and the constant push to spend money for event completion. Two newbies that I tried to assist have also quit the game, as they see no reason to take on a non-paying job that they would have to spend too much money on to catch up.

I will not be completing the event. It isn't fun and I won't be arm twisted into spending real money.

I am going to miss out on the cloud row by about 200 crops, and I am paying the price of not giving this event the attention it needs. My interest in this event waned when the Fuzzles gift of an extra crop at harvest didn't work here. ( as well as no CAC etc )
And I feel there was a serious miscalculation where we needed 1000 Rainbow Corn to get the third Fruity pancake from the associated quest, when the maximum reward for using this Fruity pancake was about 600 Rainbow corn.
Sometimes there are too many new items required to fill a quest;- the numbers just get higher and higher.
And I didn't get the associated quest finished either. This event, to me was secondary to the Carnival Event and i didn't come close to getting this one finished.
    Was there sufficient time?

Hi Davidb1yth007 I spotted that it was asking 1000 Rainbow Corn for the Third Fruity pancake as it makes no sense at all to donate 1000 Rainbow Corn only to gain about 600 Rainbow Corn....

I do not know if this was a mistype. I am not impress with this Event anyway. As they did throw in the Smashing Barbecue Mini Quest. Which only prevents Farmers to be able to complete this Event..

Hi Willow. Yes i agree it is not worth spending any BB to complete Events that not really worth completing. My logic is it only worth getting prizes that actually helps your farm. For example not point getting prizes that can be brought in the Market for CC.

Plus the Recent Event Monkey Queen gave us such wonder prizes. I did some Grilled Rainbow Corn to win some Endless Rewards i did not win any useful helpful prizes really it seem pointless to put in extra effort for lousy prizes

Now too many Events and Mini Events.....Now some of us getting to choose which ones to give it a miss. Normally i do all of them thrown at me. It coming to stage we have to decide which events to do in Full or part of it or Not at All:eek:

Didn't finish this event ....had three more steps to complete:(...would have been helpful if we could have used manure and CAC
But the idea behind that was for us to buy the baskets
First event i haven't finished in ages ..and didn't think the rewards were that brilliant

Didn't like the event ...to much work for very little reward

Only thing i did like about this event ...was that it was In the event field which saved ripping up our farms and we could continue farming on our other fields

I liked the Little Helpers event :)
It would have been better if the companion quest A Smashing Barbecue, had run for longer.:(

Not one member of my family finished either the companion Quest or the Little helpers event. All had machinery, All needed another day to complete both of them. I think if we could have used CAC everyone would have completed both of them.
I think the decision to not allow people to use CAC was a miss step. I do not feel that the ability to use CAC is limited to only upper level players. Lower level players can always get them thru gifts or by buying them. Just as I did until I built up my confectionery to the point I could make my own. The ability to get gifts from your friends & neighbors is & always has been a positive point of this game. The players that complain because they don't have the ability to make their own CAC, should try getting some friends & upgrading their confectionery. The upper level players have spent a great deal of time and effort to get their farms to the point they can make their own CAC & should be able to use it on the quests & events.
My younger siblings are super disappointed to the point they are thinking of not playing anymore. They feel the game is changing to the point if you want the bigger prizes (cloud row, ect) you have to spend real money. they don't have it.

As far as using the extra field for the event - definite plus. It meant we didn't have to tear up our other fields to participate in the event. which meant I could leave my trees & pens out to take part in the fruit market event & to prepare for the upcoming breeding event.

:(I didn't like this event at all. I work:). Therefore was not able to do much planting or harvesting due to not being able to use buffs other than water>:(. Would like to see the featured quest stay open until the event is actually finished:mad:.
xDWhat I did appreciate the most was using a field that didn't interfere with the main farm. Perhaps BP could plan future events using this field....allowing players to grow needed items for quests and goals.

I have no life, so I finished the event and won four crates, but have no idea what the crates contained, as I can not find them anywhere. If it was an automatic reward, I was not notified what I did in fact win. Doubt if I'll ever do this again.

I liked the concept of this event.
    Pros:
    • Took place on the special field, so no interruption of farm life
    • No cac or SG etc - all players were pretty equal
    • Could finish without spending money
    • A complementing quest
    • To do everything both quest and event task was in theory doable. For most people it meant having to prioritize and choose wisely. Added another element of it.
    • Had to work to open land
    Cons:
    • The time of the crops made it boring. I much rather see options of shorter and longer. Not medium 4-5h
    • The quest didn't run as long as the event.
Even though there are a lot of things I did like, I found the event boring and very forgettable. And that over shadows most of the cons...sadly.

The drop rate was so bad that I was only able to mill 3 of the second half items- skewers were almost non-existent after the first day. So a huge waste of time and effort once again, oh wait..... if you used real money then you could finish this.... another money grab.
