Strategy: Cat & Dog Days

I'm also finished with the individual donations for both cats and dogs

 

WooHoo!!! Joining the ranks of those done with both Cats and Dogs and donated to Global.

 

I have finished the Cats and then finished the Dogs individual donations! I have also given to both global events!

Great job to everyone who has already finished the individual donations! I have joined the ranks of those finished individual donations and contributed to the global. It says in the event description that we can donated breeding drops to the global progress bar. It's relatively painless to do so as you aren't giving up a barn full of cats and dogs.

 

Well, my cats and dogs ran away too fast - so I'll have to breed a few more. Luckily, I have my a bunch ready in a couple of minutes and after one more round of dogs, I should be able to finish both sides tomorrow. I hope I haven't miscalculated

 

Finished both sides and onto Global Only used 200 PF Didn't hurt a bit As usual there were no skips to speak of but I'm pretty much used to that by now

 

This what our FAQ says,

" To be eligible for the step 1 Global reward if reached, you need to complete steps 1 - 5 of the Individual progress bar. To be eligible for the Step 2 Global reward if reached, you need to have finished steps 1 - 8 of the Individual progress bar for the chosen animal. "

So no need to donate to all in to global to get CRs. I think so. Already it is 1/2 way through Step 1 of both cat & dog global reward. So probably a little donation on ones behalf is enough.

 

ok thank you for the clarification 12ss12 I didn't not want to be doing it when I should have been and missed out on CRs ect... I finished completely both the dog and cat and did 132 of each breeding dog and cat I didn't want it to be all in vein

 

Remember that Cat Teasers and Toy Bones can be donated as well. They have a value of 10000 each and will only give 2400 EP + 1600 CC after the event has ended so these are really great to donate Just donating these, I will give 350000 to the global event

Uh, I only need 53 more regular dogs and a couple of cats then I can finish the event. I can't wait!

 

I'm a bit confused by the global intermittent chart.

I had left over toys and threw them in the global donation and the EP that was awarded was different than what I expected. Not complaining just curious....

 

I think pnp, that the EP depends upon the level which the global progress is at your time of donation. So if we want to get more EP we have to wait for the global bar to progress some more. It is what I think.

 

yes, it was less than expected. Perhaps I have misunderstood the chart.

12ss12 - I thought the EP x farm level shown in the chart correlated to how much barn value I donated. I don't see how it has anything to do with what the global progress is. As I said, perhaps I have misunderstood the mechanics.

 

I thought those global steps were personal steps, so if you donated up to 15 000 EV you got 31* farm level, but if I donated more than 15 000 but less than 20 000 (accumulated) I got 73* farm level.

 

That sounds a bit unfair, if that's the case Let's hope it's not. I understood the chart the same way you did, puppiesnponies. Maybe the EPs will be donated later when the levels are met - confusing...

EDIT: I think the donation values are too low to be affected by the Global Donation Progress Bar. They must be individual. Anything else doesn't make sense to me.

 

I just donated one cat toy, the bar was at 200 000, 1 toy = 10 000. Bar after donation = 210 000. My reward was 1875 - I'm level 90.

 

It was on my 2nd farm. I had enough stock to donate to the event but did another round of 50 breedings to replace some of those level 1 animals that were used.

I put in 50 toys (for both cats and dogs). Donation value is 500,000. For farm level 98, how much EP would be awarded?

It isn't a stumbling block for me. That farm is done. No more breeding. I finished the individual tasks for both cats and dogs and just put in the extra toys.Just curious.....

 

With a donation of 500,000 I think you would get 1667 * Level 98 = 163,366 EP. Maybe you don't get 3125 * Level 98 = 306,250 EP before you donate 700,000 all in all.

Wait, What??? That makes no sense at all

 

I suspect something like that as well, but in my example I got 20,83 x my level. Then I put in anouther 90 toys, and t I got 1667 x my level, bar landed beyond 1 000 000, so I'm official confused.
