Strategy: Cat & Dog Days

I'm not. I think we've gotten what we can from this event. Unless a huge group of farmers suddenly decides to join the event the 2nd Global Event is out of reach.

 

Keep in mind BP/the Game Team decided to adjust the overall progress due to 'display errors'. I'm pretty convinced they'll adjust again, this time without letting us know, if the target isn't met before the event ends. No doubt here we'll get all the rewards. Part of their game.
Strategy: have fun while playing the game, donate what you wish to donate or don't. Either way is fine as long as you keep smling!

 

... and IMHO, we are all benefitting still, from the generosity of the Famous Monkey Queen!

I like your optimism I think I got discouraged by the adjustments to the progress bars. It really was a slap in the face, but yes, let's stay positive. Together we can do it!

 

Yeah, I'm still donating. This farm not near as much as sewinglady's, but well over a million each side, both farms. I know - drop in the bucket. On my other farm, I'm trying to get the level 8 and 9 cats and dogs, so I've used a boatload of powerfeed. Not getting great skips this time around, that's for sure. One problem is I don't like to donate or use up my pugs in breeding. I actually have a few tucked in pens here and there. I know. I know.

 

I am done with the cat side. Donated 70 cat toys.My dogs are almost ready to harv then to breeding.

I would like to say thank you, to the 2 people, who they know who they are for sending me some powerfeed I am working hard to make sure i get both sides done and to help as much as i can on the rest..

I'm all done. Started with the Dogs, moved to the cats and finished all 8 levels for both.
I had done two full breedings for each so had plenty of toys left over for the global.

I've noticed, in the global section of the event, Both gift boxes have check marks in them. To me, that means The requirements for the cloud row have been met. So now it's a wait and see.

I may do one more breeding of each, just to bolster my inventory. If so, I'll have more toys to donate.

Our Christmas Reindeer are coming back to our barn. Thought to bring them to your notice.

As there was a lot of negative feedback about the exchange of the Christmas Reindeers, the Game will run a script, most probably on Monday to book back the Reindeers to the player's accounts. The users will keep the EP/CC that they received during the exchange.

Am glad we are getting them back ...we worked hard to get them ... eps and cc's don't make up for the hours days and weeks spent getting these

 

Done, even though I said I wasnt going to do it I should of listened to myself in using baby boom to my advantage in doing FSQ's. Used more BB's than I wanted. Lets see what rewards we get from global donations and if BP reward us for their issues during event, I very much doubt it.
Not my favourite event I know for next time not to do these even.

At least someone is getting good skips this time around. I am home from my real life farmer's market, so I've put in a few more breedings...

Has there ever been an event with global donations where the goal wasn't reached? I don't remember one that hasn't since I've been playing (just over 2 years now).

 

I have no clue, but don't recall one. I find it curious that the level on the global has not moved for nearly a day. Odd, since it was stated that it was moving too fast at the start of the event. So, it has gone from moving too fast to not moving at all.

Both, cats and dogs are done... Donated both toys of what I had left over.... I almost thought I wasn't gonna make it...

 

As far as I'm concern, we have reached the CR reward. That for me means we have met theglobal target. Even though I'm still breeding cats and dogs, I'm not donating more towards the global goal. The conversion of the toys is probably good enough for me. Got to L7 on the cat quest, which I think is pretty good starting from 0

 

Being smart comes with age they say. Well, forget it!

Like many others I've donated all the toys towards the Global Challence. For each toy I recieved 10,000 EV/480*98 = 2042 EP.
I just went back to the FAQ and found out the exchange for the toys is 2400 EP and 1600 CC each. To match that amount of EP with a toy donation you'll need to be at least at level 116 (and give up on the CC)

Donating the toys was not smart! I missed a bunch of EP and CC by doing so. Hrmph!

I comfort myself with the knowledge I'm not the only one who didn't see this in time.

I donated all the toys and some higher level animals, got my fingers crossed.

 

I've got my fingers...and toes crossed we make it for global donations!!!!!! It is a bit disheartening to think we were so close early on.....then for BP to announce a mistake and take all that fabulous progress away.
I donated each and every toy that I earned and some very high level breeders!!!
