Nah, the boat should be fine, I did managed to hook my self and toss me in the water. Luckily the fish thought I was a bit too big for a bait.

Hi Nellie Noodles I keep seeing you postings that you seem to struggling with Drops no matter what you do as it seem very odd. I wonder have you have Living Legend unlocked. What is your percent of Animal and Crop Trophy set at ?

Phoenixboy12 It seem these Lure are quiet random no matter if you hit the Target perfectly, as it seem unfair so it basicially bit a skill and Luck i Think many of us are bit baffled by this. I played this event twice before even back then the Mini Game is not given prizes based on Skill on Mini Game

12ss12 I too at Stage what to do with surplus coins. I am going to get some more 2017 Givers, which can be traded at next Barter and Gift event. Plus help Newbies need Givers to Complete 2015 and 2016 Cloud Row. I would advise unlocking All Three 2015,2016, 2017 Cloud Row First. Use your coins to get the Miscellaneous Prizes as a Priority for those Struggling to get those needy Coins

 

Nellie has said several times she has both trophies maxed and exchanged to the living rune.

I have to disagree a bit, the choice of lure gives you 1, 2 or three fishes, the perfectness of the hit removes the lower coin-fish. But ofc fishing is always a bit of luck, in real life as well as in the game.

 

Only on the first day I milled the premium lures. Never the deluxe ones. Then I switched to the normal lures, cause they suited my normal farm needs the most.
Set out one field with chicken (gave 1-3 feathers per hour), one with cats, one with a few mixed animals (bears, eagle, cats) and hat two fields on baha with crops using pineapple cake for them and valentines pot for the animal pens.

Normally I went out fishing with the normal cheap lures and really rarely with the premiums as with the normal lures I got better results.
Results were in total mixed but still fine for me.
Managed to get all three CRs incl. items and now also all miscellanious exempt bananas and stars. Zero coins left now.

I think I will get the few fish left over and the hooks, feathers and metal discs converted.

Got everything that I wanted from this event. Will continue fishing and replace the 2015/2016 givers I might have in Park and Shipwreck Bay with the new ones as they generate better EP per hour/per spot.

I didn't change anything on the farm. However, I did focus on regular lures instead of the deluxe. I made deluxe & premium as the disks were harvested. Usually 2 or 3 per harvest. Since I had so many feathers left over, I shifted my focus to regular lures. Had plenty to finish the cloud row.


I caught ALL of my marlins (Which weren't many) on the spot just before or just after the "Sweet Spot" indicated in the FAQs. The Sweet Spot gave me mostly blowfish and a couple of octopi. I think Moraine hit it with the Sweet Spot eliminates the lower tier fish, but it does not guarantee the best fish. Indeed I received no marlins from hitting the perfect spot.

and also got trees awaiting to see what I get hopefully something new. Still over 2 days left, to me all free bonus items now

 

Hi Mooboy my trophies have been finished ages ago ...and to be honest I haven't found finishing them being that great in getting drops

Only things you can be certain of getting drops in this game are magic trees and wish i had bought more of them

If I don't complete it all..am not that bothered now ..have got the trees and i am using the machinery coupon

Have put out some stables and workshops ... to boost my animals ..If they make drops that's fine ... if they don't ....am not bothered

The weather is tooo nice to be glued to a computer

slowly ripping out the trees, prepping the farm for the nest event in a few days. It sounds like a grow and throw event. I'll keep my bears, and probably add a few donkeys and ostrich, and that's it I think. Maaaayyybe keep the workshop I use for quests a few days longer. Wouldn't hurt with a few extra feathers, even if I still have a nice stock of them.

 

I am getting less and less cloud rows to click on each day ... Must have 90 odd to click and am not clicking anywhere near that every day

Some times wonder why I am playing this game...Isn't the same since it has been taken over

 

Tree update new ones are Sukara, dogwood and tamarind others are what ive already got will keep them in for metal discs. Happy with the new trees I expected them to be all what ive already got.

Come on Nellie dont be too disheartened, you can get through this.

 

I'm actually really disappointed that BP is offering very outdated wonder seedlings for this event. Kinda makes me not want to get them since I have so many rollinia and bougainvillae.

i've already gotten the 2017 cloud row. Now have 465 coins thinking what I should spend them on. Any suggestions?

 

FD take them to your local alcohol store and see what you can get there haha

 

I am not really disheartened over this event Phoenix ..I have lost many in my time ...but am annoyed that i am missing out on getting the ep etc from my cloud rows
It's possible i could get the cloud row and givers ...need another 60 coins to get it...

The rest doesn't bother me ...have got the trees and machinery... i can make pinkies and can make suzy mulch and can make super grow ...have trees that do that and have got enough crates to build a house

I used my coins to get an extra sunken wonder. And going for another one. I have 204 feather lures but no hooks. With bears, ostriches, fishes & donkeys I am going to end up with lots of much more feather lure. I have put honeydewmelon with super grow + buffs & etc in comfort fields for hooks. There is still plenty of time to get one or more sunken wonder. If anyone wants any EP Giver I will be happy to get it for you & send it to you during next G&T.

 

What is sunken wonder? Hmm... I think I'll get all the miscellaneous items except pinky, CAC, stinky sticker, SG. The older cloud rows seems boring imo 1 fish every 10 hours
