* What will happen with the left over event items after the event?
After the event:
- Each leftover Coin will be exchanged for 200 EP + 250 CC + 200 TEP;
- Each Deluxe lure will be exchanged for 300 EP + 400 CC + 300 TEP;
- Each Premium lure will be exchanged for 150 EP + 200 CC + 150 TEP;
- Each Fishing lure will be exchanged for 100 EP + 120 CC + 100 TEP;
- Each Metal disc will be exchanged for 15 EP + 20 CC + 15 TEP;
- Each Fishhook will be exchanged for 15 EP + 20 CC + 15 TEP;
- Each Lure feathers will be exchanged for 15 EP + 20 CC + 15 TEP;
- Each Mackerel will be exchanged for 200 EP + 250 CC + 200 TEP;
- Each Lobster will be exchanged for 450 EP + 500 CC + 450 TEP;
- Each Parrotfish will be exchanged for 1000 EP + 1000 CC + 1000 TEP;
- Each Blowfish will be exchanged for 1750 EP + 2000 CC + 1750 TEP;
- Each Octopus will be exchanged for 2000 EP + 3000 CC + 2000 TEP;
Note: Each Marlin gives coins so there will be no leftover Marlins, hence no exchange value for them

***All the other fish give coins don't they.... isn't that how we buy things in the Angling shop ?***

 

Coins will be exchanged after the event as well into CC/EP/TEP...so nothing can be bought in the angling shop after.. you have to spent BEFORE event ends.

Auntie EDIT says: if you have 3 mackerels left over, they are not enough to get coins, as you need 6 of them, so the 3 will be exchanged.
Or have we misunderstood your post?

 

Today I got the 2017 Fish CR and givers up and running! Now I will see how many more coins I can get and go after some of the misc items! I can't make pinkie pies so that appeals to me! and maybe an extra giver or two would be great! Good Luck and have fun!!

Oh no .. I just caught a mackerel. First one since the start. Light the fire! I'm ready to smoke it with the chopchop wood from the trees which seem to disappear from my farmland as if they're ready for something new. Farm cleaning prior to House cleaning!
Will resume my fishing report after I'm done catching.

Standing after 1 round of fishing (Deluxe 9, Premium 3, Lure 1): 348 coins
Standing after 2 rounds of fishing (Deluxe 13, Premium 22, Lure 1) 796 coins
Standing after 3 rounds of fishing (Deluxe 17, Premium 35, Lure 2) 1173 coins
Standing after 4 rounds of fishing (Deluxe 17, Premium 51, Lure 2) 1498 coins

With less trees out on the farm (thus less Deluxe and Premium) it seems the average coins gathered is around 300 per round.
With many trees out (2.5 field) it was about 375 per round.

Yay! Got the 2017 CR and now have 368 coins left I'm tempted to buy the misc items I want, but I'll wait and see how many coins I'll be able to get during the remaining part of the event. It would be nice to get a CR more Which CR do you think is the best to get?

While I have the machinery and a little time ... will rip my farm up and make it better and try to get my stables and work shop numbers up

 

I got the new CR a couple of days ago and have most of the misc. Nothing exciting from the trees but I did get a Pink Fish I don't remember off-hand how many coins I have left but I'm waiting to see how many I accumulate and take it from there So glad the fishing has been good for everyone Nellie, you probably click more CR's per day than you realize

I Probably do Julie ...but it needed a tidy up ....it's become a muddle ..with trying to get drops for this event

 

Got all the 3 cloud rows Wasn't as hard as it looked at first. I also went along and got the GB, and stars. And that's not all, I even got myself some Pinkie Pie Pies, even if some of the worlds most wonderful neighbours have spoiled me rotten with those. Neighbours

 

Finished clearing out miscellaneous AND got the sticker GRRR and have 35 coins left
Shall miss the fishing... I liked that part

And as a Viking I have to get that stinking sticker, so I got it.
Have put out my wonder trees. I seemed to have 12 of it in my inventory. Have to wait till morning to see its result.

And my regular Modem has been replaced & so I am using my usual internet connection after 3 weeks & I am so happy. Fastness & speed.

 

well i got all but one cloud row and the items for 2 cloud rows... the sunken i got the cloud just not the givers... and the other need cloud and the givers... I saw somewhere someone was willing to buy extra givers for gift and trade i think it was.... i sure could use some help...lol (maybe not sure yet) now i have 18 hours left and almost no coins... but maybe i can get the other cloud too? or start on my givers for the one i have? oh yea its the gone fishing one i dont have....not sure i really need that one...126 coins and 18 hrs... (184 needed) need 310 coins total to get givers for the cloud i got..

Prioritize getting the CR themselves and give us a list of givers you are missing, that way we can help. I've been finished for a while and don't have anything to spend coins on. I know I'm not the only one willing to help either.

 

My fishing was so awful that I used a lot of regular plain lures. That works well, and I didn't get good drops for my roses on the main farm field. But I finished, got the new cr, and some of the misc. and it was a lot of fun. The advice and information given here is great.Thank You and good Luck to all.

I've done everything I want and still have enough coins to buy a couple of extra givers. Anyone want to order some givers for gift & trade? I don't really want to buy them at random.
