Simple event - grow crops, collect drops & mill products and then donate & get rewards.

• The event is playable only in Moonlight Playfield
• That is crops can be planted only in Moonlight play field & drops can be got only from there.
• Crypt Vase, Terror bouquet & cloud rows for MM crops has no effect on event crop.
• Grow the event crop & collect drops and mill the mill product - bat broth.
• 1 Bat broth = 90 Bird's Nest Fungus + 6 Silver Spoon. Takes 5 mins to mill
• Both main land and bahamarama Mills can be used.
  
• Feed the Flying Bats with the Bat Broth & you will get a Cursed Chest as a surprise which contains your rewards.
• Even after you finish the event, that is after feeding 60 bats, you can continue to feed the bats & get individual rewards.

Drop item : Silver Spoon - from spooky trees, crops and pens on the Moonlight Playfield - ONLY.
Mill item : Bat Broth

To complete the progress bar you need 60 bat broths

P.S. : Since it is a simple event, I thought to lessen zerodegrees burden by doing it myself.

 

I vaguely remember that the terror bouquet doesn't affect the event crop either.

 

I like this event, especially that crate that gives MM goodies every day. Sometimes MM does fall on busy RL days.
Besides, I don't have to change anything in my main farm.

Yes, Moraine. In last event, terror bouquet didn't affect the event crops. Cloud rows for MM crops too had no effect on event crops.

 

This is going to be the first event I am going to take part after a very long time
I am glad we only have Moonlight field to grow so we won't have to rip out our farms!

 

oh yes, forgot about the CR, but I'm pretty confident the same is the case on this event. So no need to waste any TB, like I did the last time.

The only CR which has an effect on MM Event crops, Bird's Nest Fungus, is the Party Ticket Magic Stak Row 1, also known as the Flower CR. For 24 hrs it'll give +10% EP on Event crops.

 

Well I wish we could get at least one time reduction buff to work on the event crop, but at least it's only a 4 hour crop. I love these type of events and this is a really good cloud row with the boxes giving possible 50x MM crop.

Now I'm wondering about reserving a bit of land on my MM field for growing regular MM crops... So much to do and so little time!

 

The event last for 6 days, so if you use cac and can harvest when ready, the event doesn't take long. Around 2 days with build up I reckon. So plenty of time to work on normal MM crop.

Thanks for starting the thread, @12ss12. I slept in today so the timing couldn't have been better.

I'm glad you included the note about MM buffs having no effect on event crops because there was a lot of confusion about that during the last MM event. I think a lot of people were confused because despite the fact that TB, CV, and CRs for spooky crops were never intended to work on event crops in the MM playfield, there were a couple of exceptions where they did work (for very different reasons).

The first was during the Fortune Smiles event. In this case, the MM buffs worked on the 2 event crops - Spotted Horror and Duskshadow Bloom - because they were going to remain in game as permanent spooky crops after the event was over. So instead of falling under the "event crop" category, both event crops were put under the regular "spooky crop" category from the get-go.

The second was during the Fly By Night event. In this case, the MM buffs worked on the event crop - Jelly Ear Fungus - due to a bug that the Game Team didn't fix until after the event ended. That was a one-time thing and the bug was fixed by the next MM event, Moony Mayhem.

From this point on, everyone should assume that MM buffs will not work on event crops unless stated otherwise.

 

I'm really hoping the drops aren't as bad as last time, although with a 4 hour crop time, I'm guessing it's going to be pretty bad.

 

I don't remember the drops being bad, but then I'm not that good at remembering I much more prefer 4h crop to 8h, suits my FOCD a bit better. I'm going to do 6h crop over night and keep my trees and my two pens. Should help a tiny bit with drops, and besides it's only 360 drops needed. Have BP listen and turned down the drop requirement ? Just as I did my animal trophy 4 levels ?

Well, I too love any MM events! Thanks everyone for all the strategy and information! Thanks for reminding me of the fact that Buffs don't work on the MM event crops! I am packing to move out of state, so I have many things to focus on! Good Luck and Happy Farming!

I wish this started on the weekend. It doesn't make sense to have a four hour crop during the week. I'm still going to at least try and see how it goes. If drops are bad I will switch to dealing with my MM crops. I'm kind of tired of the events during MM. They should do a two week MM with no events to give us time to make up for all of the events.

I also read in the general questions that CAC at least works on the event crop. It is frustrating that some buffs don't work, but at least it's only a four hour crop. I don't understand why buffs wouldn't work. That makes no sense to put restrictions on event crops. There's really no reason for it. I wish they would stop doing that. It's confusing for new players, and makes the game too complicated.

 

As stated at the FAQ the event's difficulty is medium so I think if it is difficult it would be because of the drops. It is hard to collect 360 drops from only one field and growing a 4 hour plant. But it also depends on how the drop rate will be.
