SOS Wish You Were Here Drop Items/Floral Garlands and Spotted Shells

How to play.

1. First we have to complete all 4 Event Buildings. You can do that in any order & simultaneously too.
2. After we finish it, we should collect Visitor Reviews in the event window. It can be collected every 6 hours.
3. We should collect 35 Visitor Reviews to finish the event.
4. The 6 hours waiting time can be reduced by adding Resort Flyers (mill product) produced in the mill.
5. One Resort Flyer will reduce 1 hour waiting time. You can add how much ever resort flyers you like.
6. Speed ( because you collect Visitors review only after you finish the 4 building & the waiting time is 6 hrs. You can reduce that but still...) & drop rat(e) plays a key role in this game & so is whether you have unlocked rainforest.

Crops, Drops & Mill products

• Both mills can be used to mill product
• 2 crops - Giant Bamboo (7 hrs crop) & Moroccan Mint (6 hrs crop)
• 2 drops - Floral Garland & Spotted Shell
• Floral Garland will drop from crops in Bahamarama & Rainforest
• Spotted Shell will drop from Crops/Animal Pens/Workshops in Bahamarama & Rainforest
• 3 Mill Products - Minty Mocktail, Welcome Gift, Resort Flyer
• There is an event layer product: Visitor Review (collecting 35 Visitors Review ends the event)
  
  • It can be collected every 6 hours in the event window, after all 4 event rooms are completed
  • 1 Resort Flyer added in the event window reduces 1 hour waiting time for Visitor Review.
• 3rd mill item Resort Flyer can be used for reducing harvest time of the Visitor Review. Can be used multiple times for each process
• Collect the Visitor Reviews to increase your star rating and unlock the Top rewards!

Mill Products & their requirements

• Minty Mocktail
  • Ingredients: 20 Water + 15 Moroccan Mints + 15 Sugarcane
  • Time: 1 minute and 30 seconds
• Welcome Gift
  • Ingredients: 6 Flower Garland + 5 Spotted Shells + 1 Minty Mocktail
  • Time: 2 minutes
• Resort Flyer
  • Ingredients: 45 Giant Bamboos + 6 Spotted Shells
  • Time: 1 minute

Stepwise Requirements for 5 Tasks

1. 2000 Giant Bamboos
2. 300 Floral Garlands
3. 140 Minty Mocktails (15 Moroccan Mints + 15 sugarcane + 20 water)

2100 Moroccan Mints + 2100 sugarcane​

4. 60 welcome gifts (6 floral garland + 5 spotted shells + 1 minty mocktail)

360 floral garlands + 300 spotted shells + 900 Moroccan Mintx + 900 sugarcane​

5. 35 visitors reviews ​

Grand Total Requirements

• 2000 Giant Bamboos (event crop)
• 3000 Moroccan Mints (event crop)
• 660 Floral Garlands (drop)
• 300 spotted shells (drop)
• 3000 Sugarcanes (baha crop)
• 35 Visitors Reviews

I have not calculated the requirements for Resort Flyer as their use is optional and each one has to calculate it for themselves depending upon the number you wish to have. clonahmon, Aluntino & zerodegrees for your calculations about Resort Flyer. I have added it here.

we can't even start collecting those Visitor Reviews until after we finish the first 4 tasks. That means we need to get 660 Floral Garlands and 300 Spotted Shells from just 2 fields, in addition to growing the required event crops, before we can even think about harvesting our first Visitor Review.

Assuming the drop rate is decent, I'm guessing it will take 2-3 days to get the drops, leaving only 3-4 days to get the 35 reviews needed for the final task. 4 days = 96 hours, which is only enough for 16 reviews without using any flyers. So we would need at least 114 Resort Flyers to get the remaining 19 reviews, which is an additional 5130 Giant Bamboos and 684 Spotted Shells.

Of course, these are all just hypothetical numbers but I doubt 70 or even 90 Resort Flyers will be enough to complete the event.​

Event Plant EP Booster

100% extra EP for Event plants for 8 hours
You can activate the Booster from your Pantry.
This booster effects ALL event plants on ALL fields (except the special event playfield)
This can be used during the "Wish You Were Here" event or saved for later use during another Event, no buff slot required.​

We need 140 Minty Mocktails instead of 120 and it is the resort flyer that uses the giant bamboo and spotted shells instead of the visitor reviews

I don't think we can have an event total for the giant bamboo or spotted shells because it will depend on a lot of factors to create the resort flyers (how often you can be online and collect a review every 6 hours or how many flyers you can make to reduce that time).

 

I am going crazy. Mill requirements have changed. So I will re calculate and edit my first post. Bear with me for few mins.

And To be honest ...I think Farmerama is crazy ...for churning out too many back to back events by the bucket loads ...making this game stressful for every one...not just the players it seems
Used to think working for Farmerama would be fun ...but have changed my mind on that
Players are going to get sick of this soon...I for one am ...don't know why i have all these Animals trees etc ...they never come out of the box which is sad because we work hard to get them

 

Thanks for pointing out pnp. I confused resort flyer with visitor review. Corrected the errors and the numbers.

Hope there in not going to be a 3rd time re-balance. May be some calculation wizards might recheck my totals and point out if there is any wrong. And what is the Top Rewards ? Anyone can point them out to me ?? I seem to have gone dizzy re-reading the FAQ.

From our FAQ

• This is the window that will appear in the centre of the screen and will be making visitor reviews
• The button on the left ( marked as 1 in picture) serves to deliver Resort Flyers and reduce production time
• The button on the right ( marked as 2 in picture) serves to collect the visitor's review, once the production process has finished. Pick it up so the process starts over
• Submit the reviews on the green button ( the + button in green)at the bottom right of the event screen ( See the picture below)

I am sooooooo confused. And I have my tropical fields decked out with animal pens so I have enough manure for the MM fields. ugh. ugh. ugh. I just don't know if the cloud row is worth it. I might do as much as I can and let the rest go. I think BP has forgotten this is a game and it has to be fun. It's not a job. If I wanted a job, I'd go get one. oh wait. I sort of have one. I should be sewing. Saturday comes soooooo soon these days.

Editing to add: I just looked at the rewards for the buildings - 20 powerfeed for building 3. okay. I have a minimum goal.

 

My numbers match yours One Two I think the top rewards are the 5th task as it can only be opened after you complete the first 4 rooms.

I was calculating and recalculating the requirements and checking German, PL and HU FAQs and everywhere were different requirements. So thats why I hadn't posted anything here.

You will definitely NEED the flyers to finish room 5 in time, as 35 rewards x 6 hours time = 210 hours. Event time is only 144 hours so you have to at least have to have around 20 flyers I think.

It is all so unpredictable, as you don't know, how the drop rat will be and you can't start working on room 5 before the others are finished, so you need the 660 garlands and 300 shells BEFORE that.

My conclusions based on two fields with 188 each 1x1 gives an excess each harvest of around 1100:
2000 x bamboo growing time 7 hours without water = 14 hours
3000 Maroccan mint growing time 6 hours without water = 18 hours
Means, within 32 hours you should be ready with event plants for room 1 - 4

A max of 210 flyers for reducing all 35 reviews to zero means additional 9450 bamboo and 1260 shell drops.
105 flyers for reducing reviews to 3 hours needs 4725 bamboo and 630 shell drops. Time for reviews total 105 hours.
140 flyer for reducing reviews to 2 hours needs 6300 bamboo and 840 shell drops. Time for review total 70 hours.
For me this means, I have to have 140 flyers, otherwise the event is not to be finished in time!!

In total... there are between 90 and 174 drops per harvest necessary related to the number of flyers you produce.

It does sound awfully complicated. I don't like events where I actually need to read the FAQ properly. The cloud row didn't feel like a must have. Then again, I like events. So I will give it a go as long as there's some fun factor.

My strategy would be to do just crop. SG until it's enough for 2 fields and hen back to just water. That is unless they have changed the faq to just one drop from crop, not two as it where when I read it the first time BP be nice to your players and MODs, be done with changes now.

 

Gives: 150 TEP x Baha level, 400 Spa Manager trade points, 50% extra TEP for Bahamarama flowers for 2 hours

If you are not yet in Spa manager trade level 5 you get 400 trading development points.... If you are in spa manager level 5 these points are lost forever (as well, when you haven't even opened spa manager yet)

 

Whoot .. coincidence .. I just posted a question about it in General Issues. To me that one part makes it a lot less worth participating and going for the CR.

ERmm what visitors Where do we get them from

Am only on level three on the spa...As far as i know nothing from the spa has ever been used in a game ...so i didn't see the point of levelling up ..unless i wanted to sell the products I made ..which I didn't

Yup, but it is usually a bit easier when the event is launched.
Are we sure the tradepoints are lost if we haven't opened the spa ? It would be very nice if they "was waiting for us" when we finally did. From zero to L5 in no time. Want to keep my stars until bear breeding is done. And it takes for ever to level up those Artisan shops, especially when you never make anything in them.

 

As per German mod Indista post#10 in Feedback and Discussion, the spa trade points are lost, when spa isn't open yet.

I am not impress with FAQ of this Event. As FAQ been amended twice already.

As i am not happy with Rewards for this Event. As i am at 343 on Baha, also have over 1300 Golden Bananas on my Farm too. How on Earth this Event is going to appeal to me.

As some Farmers have said it bit confusing how to do this event. I am thinking of missing this event completely it be my first since playing this game. I am sticking to focus to work on latest Moonlight Mania Event and Spooky Quests instead
