Am still doing Night of the bat plus building up the next events crops not had much time for the events today ...having every room in the cottage painted ...so most of the day have been moving furniture around and putting dust sheets on ..how ex sigh ting

before donating to build the huts why didnt I realise what was required I thought I needed 100 garlands and I had 300, oh no I needed to donate 300 and I only had 100????!!!! 1st mistake of this event others on the way Im sure

 

I have 112 shells and 68 garlands. Just planted my first full field a half hour ago. So I'll see what the "drop rat" gives me soon.
I don't really have high hopes for this event. The requirements seem a bit excessive to me. Not to mention I'm already engaged in another event.

 

Mu SG party have paid off. The last of the 140 Minty Moctails are queued in the mill. Still have enough for 2 fiels of mints if needed. 540 Giant bamboo & 132 garland. Thank you your Royal Highness Monkey Queen. For over night I've planted honeydew melons. I hope does give me a further push. As you can tell, I'm all in for this event, but I refuse to buy basket so I hope it works.

 

WOW!! I think the drop 'rat' on my farm just went zoom! Harvested one field (with the menageries & Manufactory) and got 38 shells and 30! Floral Garlands!! Now to go harvest the other field...
None of the stalls were ready, but harvested the bamboo and got another 12 shells and 6 garlands. So 50 shells and 36 garlands so far for this 3/4 harvest....I'm happy with that!!

 

Way to Go Moraine! Hope your aproach is a guarantee for success.

Hmmm might have a go at the honeydew melon ...my drops are rubbishhh

 

They've definitely raised the drop rate. Compared to my initial harvest of honeydew melons, I got about 84% more drops on my second harvest of chayotes.

I currently have 336 Floral Garlands and 423 Spotted Shells.

 

Why are the floral garlands so low? They require twice as many as the shells. All I seem to be getting is shells. I think they messed up the drop rate. They have the shells dropping at the rate the floral garlands should be.

 

don't forget the flyer production needed to shorten the reviews, IF you want to finish room5 too. They need shells too... and a lot of them!

Drop rate has improved: One field= 50 shells & 25 floral garlands. The 2nd field only partially harvested= 18 shells & 5 garlands
= 68 shells & 30 garlands for 1 1/3 fields.
Still not the best, but - Whew! - I feel much better!

 

Today I realized there was another event going on I haven't finished the Bat event yet but I thought let's try this because I really like the cloud row.
Wow now we have to collect 3 event drops

Thank you 12ss12 for cheering me up! I want to keep up with the 2 events and I am trying to read the FAQ in the forum but I miss some of the announcements. I also have to post in the German forum in the Market list thread and I do it rarely..haha but I like so much it feels like a great summer already! I am going swimming, hanging out with friends and playing farmerama too!

I was VERY concerned about this event, built an excel sheet and played around to get MY best strategy.
Interimsreport:
bamboo delivered
mintcocktails milled and delivered, 20 in the barn for welcome gifts
40 welcome presents donated
13 flyers milled
325 garlands still needed
waiting for bamboo to be ready for getting more garlands
227 shells in the barn, 100 of them for remaing gifts needed

My strategy:
growing both plants parallel, one on each field
resow both
after resowing:
mill mint cocktails as many as recources allow
mill welcome gifts as many as recources allow
mill flyers as recources allow
donate everything left over
repeat until houses are built.
Grow more bamboo for more vouchers on both fields after mint is finished
each bamboo sowing on both fields will give excess of around 1100 bamboo equals bamboo for 24 flyers
and will give you necessary garlands.

For me it works perfectly

additional mint mocktails for welcome gifts,
additional garlands for welcome gifts,
additional shells for welcome gifts
additional bamboo for the flyers needed to fulfill visitor reviews
additional shells for the flyers needed to fulfill visitor reviews

Sorry, but with your half listing you are confusing other players.

 

So far I have 124 Mocktails. Next harvest I will have over 300 Garland. I plan on doing 2 of the steps with those then do the other 2 steps. This sounds good in my head but time will tell
