Ι have 86 Floral Garlands and 133 Spotted Shells I think it is a good amount of drops. How everyone else is going?
Maybe I am satisfied with this amount of drops comparing with the drop rate of Silver Spoons

 

First 4 tasks are done with 171 Floral Garlands and 788 Spotted Shells left over.
1 review was already waiting to be harvested after unlocking the event layer so we only actually need 34 reviews.
4.5 days left to collect reviews, which is just enough time for 18 Visitor Reviews if I manage to harvest every single one on time. That means I only need about 96 Resort Flyers to make up the difference.

 

Three hut done, just need about 230 garland for the last hut. Milling Flyers as fast as I get Giant Bamboo.
I put a round of event plants on 82 comfort fields and got 82 of each drop, 41 per field. My other farm got fewer garland (35 and 37),
using the same set-up. I think I will try Giant Bamboo on 1x2s with SG next.

 

3 of 4 huts done here.
"Only" need 146 flower garlands to finish the fourth hut. Then I can start reviewing.
66 flyers in the barn willl definitely help to get as many reviews as possible. 44 hours gone in the event, so these are needing flyers too.
with an average of 50 garlands per bamboo harvest, I need 3 more harvests in around 15 hours, so 15 more flyers.
Overall (at the moment) I would then need 66+44+15 flyers, and will add 1 flyer for every hour gone by from now.
Overnight setup was 2 fields with 1x1 of protea, which gave me 116 shells and 71 garlands, with which I could do the last 3 gifts needed.
bamboo is giving me "only" around 50 shells and same amount of flower garlands.
Hope I will make it in time.

Yes at the start I was not really into this event. very concerned, thought I would skip it. And the confusing FAQ were adding to that negative feeling.
But as the drop rat seems to be kind to us, I gave it a go.
next night I will put out honeydew melons to see, how many drops I will get from them.

Spent the day nuking Bamboo (Giant), only 39 garland to go.
81 flyers in the barn, ready to donate.
Question: If I donate 6 Flyers, does it give me an instant Review?

 

yes it does if you give only 5 flyer you have to wait for an hour to get the review ready to harvest

 

I grow and harvest the event drops but I don't have enough of anything to donate yet.

I will be making and sending out as many Flyers as possible!!

 

1. If you have 2000 Bamboos, donate them to the first building. But have some bamboo left to re-seed them as they are necessary for milling Resort Flyer.

2. Try milling 60 Minty Mocktail first for 60 welcome gifts for another building.

3. Then try milling 140 Minty Mocktail for one another building

Minty Mocktail doesn't need any drops. Just the Moroccon Mint. So once you finish 60 Welcome gift & 140 Minty Mocktail, you don't need Moroccon Mint.​

4. Second Building needs 300 Floral Garland.

After that start milling Resort Flyers.

I am waiting for 100 299 floral garland to finish my last building and then it is time to harvest Visitors Review.

 

Growing the event crops only from the start, with some inbetween SG nuking, provided enough Maroccan Mint and Floral Garlands and Shells to mill all requirements for all four buildings in a little over 2 days. I switched to growing Giant Bamboo only the moment all Minty Cocktails and Welcome Gifts were milled.
Giant Bamboo and Shells piled up along the way (thanks drop rat!!) and I managed to start the Review part with 95 Resort Flyers.
Right now I only need 19 more reviews.
Because the event crops do give great BEP and decent drops I'll keep growing those and am confident my Resort will soon be packed with visitors.

Still pity the overall rewards for the Event aren't that great. I think it's time I do send an invite to the Monkey Queen for a free visit..

That's what I do too. Also one field for Bamboo & another for mint. Simple strategy.


I need 136 floral garlands to start with the Visitors review. I have now 45 Resort Flyers. I have put long term Baha crops for Floral Garlands tomorrow. Let's see what happens.

 

3 huts done. I need to make 22 more Welcome gifts. And I believe there is 60 Resort Flyers waiting so right now I don't know if I will need 105 flyers, 140 flyers, or so on to be done on time. Just growing and milling

 

So far have 152 garlands 211 spotted shell and 1 resort flyer....706 Moroccan Mint
933 Giant Bamboo.....And BIG LAG every few seconds ...Not good

set 2x2 fields with bamboo and nuked them with SG after the last bamboos have been ready.
Got ALL my missing flower Garlands.
Hut no 4 DONE!
As I had already milled 116 flyers, I could reduce review times to zero and left the last one at 1 hour.
Ripped off baha fields and put out parrots, so to avoid to get too many garlands.
Put rainforest back to 1x1 fields and planted sugarcane and thereafter grapes and got a few more shells to mill more vouchers.
Parrots gave me 12 and 14 shells for more flyers.

Now I got 21 reviews done. The remaining 14 reviews need 84 hours without vouchers and event time left is 89 hours!!!! Would mean, that I don't NEED any flyers any more, but just to be on the safe side I will do some more as long as I have bamboo left over(1274 at the moment in the barn)

I will get the cloudrow and everything else.. yeah.. I just have to harvest the reviews in time (which can be quite tricky at night times )

My mixing strategy at the start and throughout the event time gone was really paying off now. And especially all the thinking and excell sheet playing as well.

I am having a terrible time. Got the bamboo building, working on the mocktail and the welcome gifts. My drop on the necklace is awful. How have most of you gotten what you need? I have 2 right now after getting 55 of the gifts made up. That means I still need 330 of the necklaces just to finish the first 4 buildings.
Is there something I can plant that speeds that up? I won't have time to even finish this one at this rate.

I'm confused this says it isn't over till wed at 8am but the timer says its over in 14 hours which is Monday at 4pm did I miss something?? or am I just so tired that I'm delirious and seeing things??

 

lennon, this event, Wish you were here, ends Wed. at 1400 cest (my time would be 8 a.m. EST) The MM event ends at Sun at 2200 cest (my time would be 4 p.m. EST) Hope that helps you I finished my 4th hut last night and have 12 reviews done (almost 13) Now I just need to figure out my math on how many reviews I will need to finish (just might need to replenish my asprin supply)

 

I have no flyers, just starting to grow the Giant Bamboo needed. I'll be lucky if I get the Visitor Reviews done in time.
