Love the idea of a vacation event, but makes me wish I really was on a tropical island 8) instead of the heat wave in southern California!:sleepy::cry:

I am at Level 5 Spa Manager. There are many Farmers who are also at Level 5 Spa Manager. This Cloud Row Rewards it not appeals to anyone at Level 5 Spa Manager

I also got a Flower Cloud Row ages ago that gives 30% Baha EP on Baha Flower Crops, Why not give Baha EP on other Baha Crops. As it would be nice to Balance this Game.

I have over 1300 Surplus Golden Bananas on my Farm. Also i am at Level 343 on Baha too.

It is not very Appealing at all for someone at my level of this Game.:(

    First impression:
Chaos in FAQs which were changed 2 times
Event can not be finished without the flyers (and I am almost sure, this means buying buying buying)
Ridicoulous amount of drops needed to get all the flyers.
Cloudrow spa manager points are lost, when spa not open or over level 5, so not appealing to a) newer and b) older players

Sorry BP but what the h... were you thinking ??
    We have a real life.

So we have yet again 2 events going on at same time that require us to donate only ONE gift to each of our neighbours and this event has 2 donatable gifts. Either let us donate both to our neighbours or stop been awkward to your customers who keep you in a job with buying stuff off you. I for one has stopped buying BB's and subscription.
FAQ's were yet again different in other forums and had to be changed. To me are still confusing as to what is required.
I will start event but given what is needed will not finish it

While I understand the frustration of the lost Spa points to those who have reached level 5:(, those of us who are not there yet really appreciate something like this!:inlove: I've been having a hard time getting to level 5 Spa so will try my hardest to get this CR - with many thanks!
My parent farm, at level 105, is still on Spa level 4 - for the 3rd time! Maybe this will get the Spa over the level 4 glitch - hopefully!:D

Why not make that CR feature convert to something else when Level 5 is reached? There have been others that do so...why not this, too?

This is a very good point!!! Please let us donate to each and every Neighbor for each and every Event that is current!
Two Events should = two gifts for each Neighbor.
Better yet - please stop having these annoying overlapping Events!-.-

I too am level 5 spa manager, so don't need the CR benefits, but think it's great for those who haven't. :) The FAQs seem confusing to me, tho I'm sure we'll figure it out as we go. The only real gripe I have is that trees give no drops. I'm not talking about the magic trees, either, I mean regular Baha trees. Please reconsider this and allow drops from regular trees.

I also don't see the benefit of the cloud row, being at spa level 5. I have also had enough of event running at the same time and one after the other. The crops required are ridiculous for there only being 2 fields and needing to grow some for the flyers or whatever they are to finish in a decent time. And yet again, you're clogging up my mill when another event is already using it. Don't get me started on the magic tree issue again. On a positive note it has put me off enough to not be bothered with it so I can continue to farm at leisure.

I was initially looking forward to this "vacation event" But is certainly is no vacation and seems fraught with problems even before it starts. BP needs to stop putting out nonstop events and make sure that they have looked for and fixed potential problems before scheduling events and releasing FAQs that are inaccurate. The FAQ also needs to be clear to newer players that the island needs to be opened, along with adequate fields, in order to play. Currently, the FAQ only says level 3 is required. I don't see how a player who is only at level 3 would have been able to even open the island yet.

It is obviously me...but I find the instructions for this event to be very confusing. I have read them over and over...not to mention having to major events going on is too much esp when so many drop items are needed. MHO

It's not just you elimeno. The instructions are very confusing! I think the designers made it confusing so people will just buy the supplies rather than wait to grow them. I do love Farmerama, but I'm getting more and more disenchanted by their obvious ploys to get players to buy more and more stuff. They know what motivates us to BUY and they use it whenever they can.

I don't have a Spa, so the Cloud Row will do nothing for me at this time. When I actually do get around to opening the Spa I'm sure it will be a wonderful addition at that time. Provided I can complete this event. Others have expressed concern over what appears to be excessive amounts of crops and drops that are needed to finish this. I agree with them. It's no longer a game if I have to work at it.

The biggest gripe I have is once again you've scheduled two events at the same time! I have no idea what to say to get you folks to understand that we need more time between events. Stacking them like this creates big problems in time management, what buffs to use, and gifting just to name a few.

The end result is non-participation in the events if you continue to insist on one long event with no breaks between. Continue like this and you'll surely burn us players out. Burnt players quit. Quit players spend no money on the game. So what seemed like a cash cow to you at first ends up being a dead game.

I like this game. Have since it first came out years ago. However, I've never agreed with excessive events. I'm not asking for much, say a week between events. That gives us time to pursue the farming we need to do instead of doing the farming you demand us to do.

I agree with what has been said above and in particular that two events at the same time need drops (in the case of this event two drops) AND milling. What do we send to our neighbours/buddies as gifts? How do we stack up our already over-used mills? :wuerg:

The prizes are so-so: how about more harvester coupons or, dare I say it, BBs? When we have half price harvester sales, I never have enough to buy any of the functions so I either use my nearly empty supply of coupons, do the comic and give stupid amounts of crops and animals to maybe win 3 hours of (instant) harvester functions or harvest manually. :(

I actually love doing events for the fun of doing them so the prizes are not so important to me but I am getting seriously fed up with manual harvesting and the game is losing its fun element.

Hate to be so negative but looking at the requirement for this event, I doubt very much if I will finish it. Medium Difficulty, really? I will try but I don't hold out much hope and for me, this is very disappointing ... and this is the start of the event! o_O

I'll post here since BP doesn't care to take the concerns seriously DURING the event. Not like they listen after either, but whatever.

The drop rate is ridiculous. If I need 660 floral before I can even use the resort flyers, the drop rate needs to be higher for those. I understand why the shells are high, but 2/3+ of those drops are optional AND they are useless without the floral drops.

I only have 46% of the floral drops that I need. We are over halfway through the event. You need to extend the time, due to this ridiculous problem.

I have roughly 54% of the shells. That includes optional for the flyers. That is a 14% difference between the two drop rates. Not nearly close enough if we need the floral drops first.

This is poorly planned, too complicated, and ridiculous as usual. Thank goodness I don't care about the cloud row. It's completely inaccessible.

24 hours left and my point is being proven over and over again. I don't even have half of the floral drops I need to open the last room. So all of the extra stuff I made will be useless. So angry that BP hasn't even bothered to listen AGAIN. You need to make this right BP. You want to get all creative and wonky with events? Then listen to the long time players that are saying this event isn't possible. Make it right. >:(

Far to much work for very little reward ...I am getting a little fed up with getting cloud rows and TEP from cloud rows EVERY Event
A little bit of imagination would be good...instead of grow and throw
Old events used to be great ...you could win recipes and other things...now it's cloud rows all the time
We have animals ...we make jams... we have tree fruits etc
We had events that we could use things from our barns and we could put out our animals on our fields... instead of event crops
Why have we got these ? ...when we hardly ever use them..thats sad when we have worked hard to produce them and they are never used

Start of Event: Seems a little confusing but there are 2 crops so plant 1 field of each.
Working on Buildings 1 & 2: Got the basics down. o_Ops planted too much Moraccan Mint.
Working on Building 3: Figuring it out but still a little confused.
Working on Building 4: It would be nice to know how many flyers are required for the final step.
Final Step: Not there yet--will update later.

UPDATE: Need 35 - Maybe I could have planned better if "exact" requirements were shown in advance but it still seems "doable" with the time left.

I like it when the Event FAQ or Game Strategy Posts let you know what is required; especially when it shows total amounts and those for each step (or series or steps to get certain items).

Some farmers decide whether to do an event based on the rewards offered and in some cases to get the reward offered in the final step. So it would just be good to know if you were going to be able to finish it or surprise you need XXX more items and might not be able to finish. Depending on a players level, BP spending habits and time they have available to play they might decide to do the event or sit it out and use the time to increase their Baha farm inventories. They can also use the time to harvest in order to sell non-event crops and any other items required in the events to other players.

When the requirements are spelled out I still make mistakes I at least know whether to try to complete an event or whether I don't have a chance to finish.

I like this event very much. (I like nearly every event.) The two stage design gives me choice of meaingfull gameplay without stressing for finish. I would need more drops though if I wanted to go for finish, but my Living Legend is not completed yet, so not bothered at this time. Rewards for where I get are ok, things I can use, so no complaint. I have no problems with two events like this at the same time. Doesn't burden me at all and I don't struggle what and how to play. Always get some use and fun of it so again no complaints. Also the FAQ, I find it clear enough and quite easy to understand. I usually figure things out from in-game instructions and game itself anyway, but read FAQ also and find it helpfull.

I feel a bit indebted with praise so let me expand into a more general stuff. I'm a casual player and have times of very relaxed play and then times of more intense play. I buy harvester when I expect to play more to make game less laboursome, or mill booster etc. I have been playing for about a year now after leaving and returning back. For me the game makers have done excellent job. Game is well ballanced, provides nice variety for free play and meaningfull ways to spend money too. Information in general is on a very high level, wheather it's event FAQs, bug reports or other, and also the response of the team to most of the issues in the game is just excellent, fast, helpfull. I was pleased to find Rainforest to help with Baha upgrades when I came back, I enjoyed the introduction of new event types, which has been excellent move imo, although I don't mind having some of the old style events at times also, I really appreciate how thoughtfully the game is developed and managed. As a casual gamer I always find something interesting to do, to change focuss to, wheather it's quests or events or minigames in events etc., there's enough give-away features in the game giving usefull stuff for free, just very good game. I'm one happy farmer here. I might have more critical comments later when I start hitting the limits, but not just yet. :) I could have posted twenty plus such comments through this year I was playing, but I'm too lazy to post, so take this as a response to nearly every event or every happening in the game. And maybe I'll post more often in the future. I've read some of those critical posts in this and other event feedback threads and I thought, not fair, the game is too good to be mostly criticised.

My beef is that you have to finish the 4 buildings BEFORE you can have any benefit of reducing the time on that 7 hour crop. So I can safely say I've got one day to get those flyers made. This along with the Bat event has me running in a circle.
Later...figured out the mystery, they didn't advertise the total volume because no one would even start this event if they knew what was coming.
I am very surprised that bp would encourage newer players to partake especially when the giant bamboo amounts are so high you'd have to sit day and night to get finished. How much did I grow? Once I finished the huts (just because I started them and didn't really need the spa points) I thought there would be a cloud row sitting there waiting. no. make 6 flyers and get one instantly or wait 6 hours for the next. Do this 35 times and you've got a cloud row. 210 flyers x 6 spotted seashells? this is in the thousands for a drop. I can't believe it! just finishing the huts now theres a booby trap waiting for me since I come this far?
This is excessive growing 40 thousand+ plants, hello? I got fooled bigtime.

After completing most of the event, I would like to add some comments:

As already said here, why did we have to complete the four buildings before we could start collecting the Visitor Reviews? This seems rather unnecessary to me. :sleepy:

Also, the ratio of Floral Garlands and Spotted Seashells was definitely off - Spotted Seashells were far more plentiful than the Garlands which means that many of us were waiting for these in order to finish the four buildings. I had the necessary 300 Spotted Seashells after two days whereas I have only just got the last Floral Garlands I needed - even then I had to speed up a crop to get them! o_O

I can't say I have enjoyed this event at all. Found it a little boring really. :(
