Feedback Night of the Bat

CONGRATULATIONS for finishing...and to all else who have finished as well!!

 

Finally all 3 farms finished. Was worried about the drop rate but there is still time left.

Might not get many extras but at least got the EPs and Cloud Row. Hoping for some crocodiles, GB's, nutmeg and birch trees.

Probably would have been able to get more if I only did the 8 hr crops but instead I decided to do the ones I needed for the quests. Variety of harvest times 2 hr - 8 hr.

 

Back to feedback....Harvest functions should be given as coupons. The 1 hr is pretty much useless and the 3 hr doesn't even cover a round of the event crop Bats need to be a little bigger. Fungus was beautiful. I found drops weren't bad for me.

 

My feedback: Instead of instant harvest, harvest coupons would be more beneficial. We can't always use the instant harvest and so it's wasted a lot of times. I enjoyed this event because I love all things MM. The graphics are cool and I liked feeding the bats. I may not have been able to complete it if not for 8 extra silver spoons I received from SOS. However, I did make a mistake one time not using terror bouquet. But in that vein, if not for my terror bouquets I probably would not have been able to finish the event due to relatively low drops even with longest growing crops. Some of the rewards were good but not as great as the last MM event where we fed the bats. This event I kept getting a lot of MM crops for my rewards when feeding the bats which isn't that beneficial to me when I can just grow them myself if I want them. The CR is great! I hope there are more MM events because I love when MM sticks around for a week instead of one day only.

 

MM event's are great. Like @gardengal I also like having moonlight field around for more then a day. Gives me choice wheather to play the event or work on my other MM crop tasks.

 

I think the drop rate for Silver Spoons was somewhat on the low side but given the 6 days the event lasted, all commited players could finish. I'm not keen on the instant harvest helper functions as a reward either, beside what's mentioned by others, those also mess up big deal with the monthly subcription. I now have way more harvest seeder time as I do for harvest building.

 

Love this event and most of the prizes. I'm not overly fussed by getting plants as prizes - I can grow those myself. And I agree with others that instant harvest is not helpful and should be given as coupons since that is a viable option.

 

I agree with all the above re: 'instant' coupons! Besides, when we use a regular timed coupon - it becomes instant the moment we use it!
Other than the low drop rate, I really liked this longer MM event. Finally finished, just in time! whew!
