Combo Event..There and Back Again/Icing on The Cake

This is a New Concept Event. That Combines Bear Breeding Event Called There and Back Again, also Cake Making Event Called Icing on The Cake

Icing on The Cake Event

Start: Thursday, 20th of July at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)
End: Tuesday, 25th of July at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)

There and Back Again Event

Start: Thursday, 20th of July at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)
End: Wednesday, 26th of July at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2

Note: You will not be able to see Icing on the Cake Event Tab only There and Back Again Bead Breeding Tab in Event Tab

There and Back Again Event does require 250 Mammal Badges to be able to complete All 14 Levels, Which will Require at least 500 Power Feeds.

But Icing on The Cake Does rewards you 20 Mammal Badges, saving you 40 Power Feeds + 15 Powers Feeds. Saving of 55 Power Feeds

The Reason why Bear Breading needs so many Power Feeds, that it offering you Two Bear Breeding Cloud Rows

Icing on The Cake also gives you 40 Bears too. As we can win Back Bears via Baby Boom Event, which i believe will occur twice 1st) Short time Baby Boom on 20th PM, 2nd) The usual Baby Boom Weekend that last 48 Hours

ICING on the Cake works the same way, when we did The Big Bake Off event. But Cake Points reward chart and Cake Matching Rewards are different.

At First we need to start collecting Cake Points, which are added to cake making progress Bar.

We start with matching 1 Cake, then we move up to matching two Cakes, then stay at matching 3 Cakes. Keep Progressing until we reached level 10.

But from Level above 10, at this Point the rewards are doubled, along with 1 GB or 6 Hour Breeder Helper BUT we might be able to win 2/4 Power Feeds, 4/8 Bears, 1 or 2 Short Face Bears, which will make costs saving on Power Feeds needed for Bear Breeding

Cake Vouchers

• Baker Shop Deco Item available at start of this event, it can be place in any field. It produce a Cake Voucher every 6 Hours.
• Cake Boost reduce Baker Shop harvest by 50% down to 3 Hours
• Cake Vouchers can be reaped only on Mainland, Green Meadow and Glade, from Trees, Stables and Workshops
• Note: Cannot get Cake Vouchers from Bahamarama or Rain Forest !

Have Fun with Both Events. I hope you will get good skips with Bear Breeding. As we going need to rely on Good Skips as the Amount of Breeding Bears is higher than previous Breeding Events.

Thanks to Icing on The Cake, We can make savings on Bears, Power Feeds and Flat Face Bears, that helps us on Bear Breeding.

 

Also noticed at moment, unless changed since last logged on, that cant yet breed bears in hotel/motel.

Im sure like me people prepare events beforehand and therefore would have bears ready to harvest as event starts, with hopefully baby boom mini event starting at same time.

So will we have to wait till event starts to start breeding

Edit...... just noticed bears available in 25 hours or so. Therefore cant have bears ready to harvest at start time

Don't worry you will make it in time, if you have enough bears in your barn.
Same was also with cats breeding last year and peacock breeding this year
as both have been NEW breeding introductions

 

Got hundreds ready Clonahmon, plus get more in rewards from cake event. Just depends on the skip bunny when breeding

 

We are doing the cake event again ?

 

Yes, Nellie. We get Cake Vouchers when we breed. We are given three free vouchers to try out the game!

I will breed 230 lots of bears, hopefully get enough Cake Vouchers (and points of course) to get the remaining Mammal Badges and save my PF plus a few bears too. I like this event though that will be a lot of Cake Vouchers to use up (and lots of clicking!).

As far as the Icing on the Cake goes, I will probably go for the maximum points: three cakes (writing them down using my own special recipe code of course!).

I like any event that doesn't involve growing, throwing and collecting!

Ah, Clonahmon, you have spotted my inherent flaw! I can never read small details. That's why I rely on this thread to guide me where I need to go. Having said that, I still can't see where it says there are only three cakes on the 10th task ...

See, attention to detail ... something I sadly lack! I see it now you have pointed it out. I need a big stick with a sign saying "LOOK HERE" or I miss it!

I think I prefer that we get drops in the normal fashion and perhaps when breeding too ... I think!

 

If you are able to, with an ipad, phone etc, take a photo of the screen for each try. No memory needed

 

My attention span and memory are like a goldfish. Had pictures printed out and just crossed out what was correct, I plan to reuse that strategy. Forgot who gave us that, but I am really grateful.

according to the game facts on bear breeding - there will be 2 runes on the tree, 1 gives 20 bears, the other gives 1 Cossack bear. this will also help. codyj #44475068

 

Mooboy, thanks for starting this thread! And for crunching the numbers and seeing where one event helps us out with the other.

Re the bear breeding event. I am thinking it will operate very similarly to the camel breeding event we had a while back. I think the peacock event also worked similarly...so at least we already know how this one works. Less confusion at the start, anyway.

Did anyone else notice how many bears were in the baskets? I know that most of us try to play the game without spending our hard-earned moolah, but the fact that the giant basket has 1000 bears? Ack. I'm a little worried that my measly 300 or so bears aren't going to be enough.

Now I know some of us are more tech savvy than others. So the piggy cake side event... those of us who can snap pics with cameras, etc. - yay. Those of us who aren't that fast with our phones, use a piece of paper and a pencil. Seriously - I made it through without a mis-step the last time we had this event. I made up a single letter code for each layer color and then wrote the letters in vertical rows as the cake orders came in. It made getting it right much less stressful. Used up a couple pieces of scratch paper and wore my pencil down to a nubbin, but it made this event a "piece of cake".

Gotta go harvest my farms. It's gonna be a busy day. More sewing plus appointments! whee!
