Jeeves has his new head collar - he is now in pale green (Freddy in dark green).

Belle still looking moth eaten with her moult but the adult coat around her eyes looks as if it will be very pretty. :)

All doing well. Jeeves does get an upset tummy from time to time but only to be expected being an orphan... He got another dose of medicine today. Poor boy, you'd think the extra handling would make him more tame but the opposite... He keeps a beady eye on me in case I have a syringe of something nasty to make him swallow or inject in him! Now, it takes tactics to catch him! Heehee.

I'm not surprised Jeeves keeps a beady eye on you!!! I like his new head collar.

Jeeves is on to you Karen!xD If Belle keeps going, it looks like she will be a totally different color as an adult! (To me anyway!);) And Freddy looks so smooth and soft!:inlove: They are all getting so big!

Poor Jeeves! I'm sure he will be more trusting once he gets over this rough time. Freddy is so good looking!

Had something similar to deal with not so long ago. I had to give my parakeet a week of antibiotics for a bronchial infection, which required holding her in my hand and pinning her mouth open for the dropper. She avoided me for a couple of weeks, but then decided to forgive me for my behavior and start playing with me again!:)

Every feed time they come running to meet me at the gate and then all accompany me to their feed troughs. I do miss the gentle nudging of antlers from my special boy who thought I should walk that little bit more quickly but at least I can now start to smile at the memories.

Thought I had Jeeves tummy settled but he has started scouring again today, so I have given him a second dose of wormer, just in case and I'll be back to kaolin tomorrow & probiotics. Poor baby, but he's eating well and seems quite happy. I'll give the wormers a few days and if no improvement on Monday then I'll get the labs to see if they can see anything from fecal output. Don't worry it's nothing like what the adults had as they crashed very quickly. This has to be due to his orphan status.

You must have so many wonderful memories of your special boy to treasure. Hope Jeeves's tummy gets better soon, he must be beginning to think of you as "the lady with the nasty medicine"!

It must be very hard, I even look at the pictures you post and think of your special boy! Fond memories
that bring a smile! :inlove: I hope Jeeves tummy troubles get settled real soon, and he is not an orphan as he has "you"!;)

I don't remember this video so thanks for posting. :inlove:

Must be a bit buggy there right now with all the leg kicking I see.

    Hope Jeeves feels better soon!

Flies everywhere, hence the shakes and stamping of feet. Jeeves' tummy seems to have settled again, thankfully. :) Let's hope it stays that way.
A picture to show comparative size of Freddy and his mother - boy that guy is growing fast!

And what has Boris been up to? He has a graze by his eye. Has someone bopped him or my guess is he got his head stuck in fence trying for a tasty morsel beyond his reach!

Boris is also starting to show signs of antler warts on his brow tine (little bobbles)... I thought we had got away with them this year... :(
No problem, I just need to let them grow a little more and tie them off with rubber bands...

Did Boris forget to wash after playing with the toads? :) Freddy is really trying to grow into those feet. :inlove:

As long as you don't put ribbons on Boris along with the rubber bands lol. Freddy is certainly going to be a very handsome young man!

Took a video at feeding time today to show how easy Freddy is becoming...
In fact earlier in the day we had a very important visit from one of our "Peers of the Realm" & his grandchildren. My herd impressed. :) They all came running to greet & Boris must have known it was an important visit as he stood besides main visitor for cuddles and strokes. Mischa, Katya and Freddy wandered between the children for strokes and kisses - the rest just on outskirts of party... I couldn't have been more proud of them... And as a bonus I now have 11,000 acres locally to harvest willow browse - and Many Many more if I want to harvest in Scotland BUT a bit too far! :)

I am very happy your guests were as impressed with your herd as we all are!! As well they should be!!
Don't you just love it when the "kids" reindeer, just behave the way you want them too!xD Yay for Boris just leading the way!:inlove: Very glad you can now have a place to get more local willow! Great video, I noticed that Storm was less than impressed with you today! lol

Glad for your good news! How nice some important guests had a chance to see and be impressed by your lovely reindeer. I know they were also impressed with the way you have raised them. :)

Glad that everyone behaved themselves when your guests were there. Boris obviously showed them all how it should be done!

I must say, that they do look striking against their coats!:) I am sure they will fade fast out in the weather!;) Very happy along with you that Jeeves is in better spirits:inlove: and it could be because his tummy feels better!
