Could that mean, that there will be no BBD?? Why should they otherwise put 1000 bears into the basket?
I don't want to paint the devil at the wall, but... Just thinking... Have they EVER had SO many animals in a basket?

Pretty sure there will. But I think some people that hasn't played for years or haven't managed to accumulate a large number of (rare) animals are tired of struggle to do these new-animal breeding events. These basket sounds like it's for them. I have to confess - it did look tempting, but it sadly is out of my budget. Beside I have close to 800 bears in my inventory. Should do alright.

so far I've stuffed my motel with other mammals that I still work on the breeding quests. That would be all types of animals as I haven't finished anyxD

I did the same as dumbunny last time. I used paper and pencil to record my cake orders.
    C- chocolate
    W - white
    P - pink
    Y= yellow
    R- Red
    B- Blue

    It worked well for me:)

Last time I printed the picture from the FAQs and stuffed the paper into a clear plastic page holder and crossed the correct ones on it with a white board marker and deleted it afterwards with an old dryer sheet. This way I could reuse it for all the event time ;)

Is the total bear exchange value required 1,637,507?
    Is that 4310 regular bears?

First off; thanks for all you hard work in providing the information on these events.

One question though; if the bears are
breaded will we eat them? If so, what will we do with the cakes? Will they be bred and multiply? The cakes do seem to multiply because we start out with one and it goes up to three but I don't want to eat the bears. Unless they are yummy Gummi Bears.

    Thanks again

breaded bears. Um, no. Although, should anyone care to try 'breaded bear', I hear there's a restaurant in Idaho where they serve all types of wild game. Not my cuppa tea. But I heard tales of it last time I was through Coeur D' Alene not quite 2 years ago.

Gummi Bears on the other hand are my weakness. Only Haribo. No other brand will do. Green ones are my favorite.

PS - we have lots of bears here in Montana...one wandered through the high school in Bozeman a while back. That had to have been interesting for students and faculty.

I love Haribo too.. Was in their factory shop and got 20 kg of Haribo for not even 20 euro :):)
But I have a very good alternative: Home made plum leather or apple leather.
Mash plums with a blender and dehydrate... Tastes like sour Haribo :) YUMMIIIIEEEE
Just have another 20 sheets in my dehydrator.
    (Sorry for OT)

I used print screen the last time and got each and every cake right! Going to use the same strategy!

Cake Event: Will continue to use paper & pen because it worked well before. Sometimes during events my computer runs slow so I would be afraid to try Print Screen because I might run out of time switching between windows.

Bear Breeding: Low on PF and bears so I will take advantage of Baby Boom (always); try to get as far as I can and hope that all of my neighbors purchase the PF that gives me some too. I have been trying to increase my inventories so that I have enough animals for events but just haven't got there yet.

Thanks Mooboy for all your hard work. I appreciate it!

Bears are fine. Ready for bears.

Cake event at the same time is not. I will not participate. I refuse to support Olympic event stacking.

The cake event helps the breeding event. Just leave your farm as it, you'll get vouchers anyway. A win, win situation. ;)

Hi smallvillefarm1 here, first time using the forum so here goes!!! I only have about 140 powerfeeds do you think it's a good idea to wait for the babyboom event on friday or will I be too behind in the event?

Thanks Mooboy - boy those requirements of Bears and associated bred Bears! :wuerg:

Baby Boom has been announced ...starting tomorrow night!:(

Oh well, will load up the Bears in the Loveshack and sit on my hands till tomorrow. :inlove:

Hi Smallvillefarm: You need at least 500 PF to finish the breeding event but, dependent on how far you want to go, the event lasts six days so you won't get behind. If you have all the required Bears and PF, you could do it in one sitting with a Pink Jelly and Pheromones. It's a tough one, all that PF! But the breeding events can be fun if you get good "skips". :music:

It is always best to wait for the Baby Boom event as you should get more for each breeding than other times. :)

You say this is your first posting but I don't know how long you've been farming. You've come to right place for strategy and I'm hoping I have helped but I'm sure someone will step in if I have forgotten something or misled you. Good luck! ;)

Thanks illy1996 yes you have helped and I started end of may. The Cats and Dogs event came around and at that time I wasn't checking the events forum or the rumour forum so I used the babyboom for breeding events to gain stars. I started breeding bears so I have few in stock but I know if I don't have enough for the event as long as I get my sticker and a few extra's (really want hammock workshop) I think I will get what I want and see what I have left after that.

Good for you! I will send you a Pink Jelly tomorrow - it cuts the breeding time down by 50%. You need to "eat" it before you set up your motels with animals. ;)

Or you can save your Pink Jelly and Pheromones: load up the motel in readiness for Baby Boomer tomorrow and then you can just harvest them when the Baby Boom starts. Please check it has started - click on the event timer and run your cursor over events currently running. It should also state Baby Boomer at the right hand side of the Selection screen in the motel. If it hasn't started at the appointed time, refresh your farm. :p

If you decide to load up the motels today, before you do, just make sure they don't sneak an extra Baby Boom in at the start of this Combo event - it has been known. To be extra sure, and again I don't know where you are and what the time is there, but leave it till the last thing you do today and then you won't miss out on an early Baby Boomer if it happens! 8)

There's me giving advice and what did I just do? I ate a Pink Jelly cos I was so sure we would have an early Baby Boomer! DOH! -.- Note to self - read your own advice before acting lol! xD
