Smallvillefarm: I made a little error earlier on, I said you needed 500 PF but it is fact 460 PF if you get the 20 Mammal Badges via "Icing on the Cake". Sorry.

 

Okay, so, event started, out of 3 fields of fish, donkeys and ostriches, got an underwhelming 3 drops. Guess we're going to get miserly drops this time.

Anyone have even the empty spaces for breeding bears in their markets? I can't seem to find them. Don't really expect anything until tomorrow, but thought I'd take a look, and no see um.

 

So far have got the sticker grrr and 16x bears
Got 1 circus bear ...he looks cute I want to keep him And 8 short face bears and 2 vouchers

 

No coloured bears in the market and it seems we'll have to wait even longer for more vouchers.

Update on Icing on the Cake

 

May I join the low drop club. Only received 5 drops from the following:
Out of 432 (1x1's) planted with red cabbage, organic cotton & spelt, also had menagerie, manufactory, & 4 orange bear pens, along with numerous regular trees & XXL trees
At this rate, if drops are needed for big, beautiful, delicious cakes, then seems if the cakes will fall before they come out of the oven.

 

Just messing with the Cake figures. We got 3 freebies and one Cake orders so most of us should get the first 2 levels for free. then we have 8 levels with 2 Cakes and the last level for 3 Cakes. That's the easy part.

Total number of points to get level 10 = 2,130, less 45 for first 2 levels, 2,085.

Level 10 (240 points), with 3 perfect Cakes each time will require 4 Cake Vouchers.
Levels 2 to 9 (1,845 points) with 2 perfect Cakes each time will require another 53 Cake Vouchers.

So, unless I really as rubbish at maths as I usually claim, that makes less than 60 Cake Vouchers required, a total of about 12 to 15 a day. Put like that, it doesn't sound too bad ... does it?

Edit: NanaLyn - Drops don't come from crops this time round. So you probably did quite well looking at everybody else's drop rates.

 

NanaLyn, I would say your farm did very well. Crops do not drop cake vouchers. Only trees, stables, workshops and breeding. So your storage facilities and 4 orange bears did better than my whole farm

illy - that does help put the low drop rate into perspective a bit better But with long pens and 12 hour trees, I have to wait a loooooong time to try again.

 

I couldn't even be bothered to wait this morning so I had virtually nothing left to harvest lol!

Look out for stray bears everyone, a few have gone awol and they are particularly partial to cakes!

I baked special cake with everything included for Shooger-Sweet, I think she needs a sugar boost! Enjoy Shooger!

I had to make do with the 3 free ones. A field and a half of bears, numerous trees and I got a big fat zero in vouchers. Not much fun...

 

I'd like to list some bears for sale, but I'm afraid to, lol. Worried I'll need them and have sold them.

 

I made a cake by taking a pic but the pic didn't turn out like the last time Good thing it was only 1 cake and I remembered what it was 5 drops from 3 fields of pens and trees. Seems to be the going rate I tried writing down the cakes last time and I got so confused, couldn't mark it down fast enough so I don't know how far I will go with either of these events

 

Thanks to illy1996 & pnp for pointing out to me drops don't come from crops.
I guess I overlooked that in FAQ's due my poor eyesight. At least I have an eye exam next week.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

 

In the original FAQs, you could only get the Vouchers from breeding Mammals but it was changed to include Trees, Stables and Workshops in the three main fields. No excuses necessary NanaLyn, we all miss bits and pieces in this game, just as long as we all stick together and point them out, no problemo!

The prices are too crazy to resist Spots! I have filled my motel with Bears, have 80+ Bear stables out and if all else fails I shall breed other mammals for the Mammal Badges! My CC reserves went from over 100k down to under 10k and I need to build them up again!

 

I am glad it's stables and trees ...can have some for my stables out ...which is helpful to get the numbers up in them
Makes a change from crops all the time and it's much easier to harvest them by hand

Could just eat a slice of that strawberry cake with this cup of tea

OMG 20BBs.. wont be buying them on my farm either .....Don't make enough BB's in this game to buy them...Ones in FS are one off's and the movies isn't the most reliable source to make them
Have just watched two moves ...now it says they have no more movies ...so instead of getting 4 a day i got 2

 

Well the drop rate for cake vouchers is abysmal. This farm got 4, my other one got 2 - and that's with a boatload of bears out...long term pens...I figured that they at least would give good drops. ugh. The good news is the cakes are exactly the same as last time...and the prizes include bears. I hope BP doesn't expect us to buy cake vouchers at 20BBs a pop...not happening. At least not on my farms.

 

I managed 7 vouchers of which 4 came from my glade where I have 3 howies, all trees and stables/workshops. This includes a fully expanded menagerie and mostly pink/Neon pens. The others came from bears, ostrich, deer, some cats and a newt. Still to harvest today will be a Manufactory (5 workshops) and some fox pens.
