Combo Event..There and Back Again/Icing on The Cake

BlackCaviar - may I ask why you only have 5 worskhops in your manufactory? If you have the first upgrade, there are slots for 6. Personally, I would never leave a slot empty in any of mine...space is just too precious.

Anyway, I see where they must have finally booked the correct giver item as I have my bakery deco items that give the vouchers out now.

 

I got 23 vouchers (plus badges, too) from breeding a bunch of bears in the beginning. Thought there was a Baby Boom!!
Now I've stopped breeding and am waiting till the BBD tomorrow. Sighhhhh - what a waste........
But they did take me all the way to Egypt and the Pyramids!

EDIT: Sorry - got my farms mixed up! This one only made it to the Spooky garden.

 

I've only got 1 drop of cake vouchers so far, but while I have a lot of pens out they're not optimized for harvesting all at the same time.
I'm guessing it's to encourage everyone to get involved in breeding, the drop rate seems better there judging from earlier posts.

I'm not doing the 'there and back again' event, I think. The prizes seem pretty underwhelming. I already have some orange bear pens and one red hammock workshops so while I'd like more, they don't seem worth it.

 

Have to agree with you there, Shimmer. Prizes are definitely underwhelming...especially considering the amount of PF we will need.

 

@dumbunny Where did you find your bakery shop as I still only have the old one? Anyone else get there updated one yet?

 

Had one field of best trees and two of pens (bear, donkey, ostrich among other pens/workshops/menageries. Got 9 vouchers. Will see how this goes. Blessings to all for good results in breeding!

 

Hi desi20 I got a popup telling me I go a new bakery shop so I put it next to the other one (had to sacrifice a goose but having 2 at the same time will help) Haven't had a pop up yet?

 

@desi20, Hi I have both now. It is in the crate under decorations! I hope yours is there now!

 

Just looked an only the new one give me a ticket the other one is ep. Thinking of nice thoughts !!!

 

I'm up to a grand total of 2 tickets dropped now....*sobs*

 

I'm done with the cake event so do we still get special prizes with all the extra vouchers we have left? if we keep making cakes? NEVERMIND I found it yes we do keep getting rewards cool

 

Woah that was quick, Marly! Congrats to you - no envy here at all . Just logged in and harvested 3 fields of neons and pinks and received a whopping 6 cake vouchers . Looking forward to BBDay so I can top up those vouchers.

 

It was in the deco items tab under the flower vase icon. I was really surprised that it was the new one...no sign of an extra old one - all my old ones are out as regular givers. I don't have a lot of extra givers (yet).

I found my new bakery in the Inventory under special
What a mess up this event has turned out to be...it's certainly the icing on the cake
This is what happens when you do toooo many things at once ...which is what Farmerama is doing OR trying to do by putting two events into one...Which is sad and very silly
Both of these on there own could and would have been good events

Twice I have put 4 bears in the breeding house and when they have finished... i get a stork carrying a baby ....logged out logged in ...go to the breeding house ...press results and got nothing..so i wasted bears... PF pheromones

Apparently i havent lost anything ...But am still not doing anymore to this event
it's not worth it to me to spend my time getting these rewards that aren't that brilliant
And i don't like playing two entirely different events ...that don't even go together ..bears and cake baking
I have done One thing I have wanted to do and that is to get my stables out

Ok I give, I still do not have the new Bakery shop I have refreshed so many times and still nothing and yes I looked everywhere. To the ones that have it congrats!!

 

I just took 1 day off and have now come back confused But as always there's help to be found on the forum. Thank you for all your work, Mooboy Bears are in their breeding huts, oven is warming up - ready for some cake baking - and hopefully somehow this strange combo-event will make more sense after a good nights sleep

 

It looks like it was a fluke with my taking a pic earlier. I think I took to long to snap the pic bc it worked later on.

 

I am completely done on this farm with both events I have both CRs up and running

 

If you have that 3rd Bakery Shop from previous event you can place it on the field with the 2 new ones.

 

But the old ones only give EP this time around nm56, so not much point. Only the new one gives vouchers.
