Feedback Icing on the Cake

My question is simply: If you have no proper place to show the event, then why not wait until the other event is finished before you start this one?

This Olympic event stacking is unreal! I will not participate in this.

 

I agree with the above -- we have the Moonlight Playfield and Fuzzles Workshop currently not being used so why not use them for this event. I just prefer being able to click on the map to access an event instead of the Events tab.

UPDATE: Per Moraine (post below) the following information is incorrect so it can be ignored.

I like that we received not 1 but 2 Bakery Shops.

I don't like that we can take the 1 off the Cloud Row that we previously one and have 3. Since I am a player who previously did not have access to a computer 24/7 I have missed out on numerous Cloud Rows and EP's. I have been playing since 2010 but it has only been the last 2 years that I started to have more access and was able to complete events. Previously I would play for a couple hours and only 5 days a week instead of 7 so I wasn't able to finish any of the events. I have to say I don't like that EP's from previous events can be used to give players an advantage over other players who do not have them.

I understand that some players have buffs that they purchased to help them but this is not the same thing. Were the buffs offered and a player chose not to buy? Are they still available to purchase in the shop(s)?

Needless to say, I do have my 3rd Bakery Shop placed on my field with the others. What a hypocritical *** I am for doing that.

 

nm56 - I think you'll find that only one gives you vouchers. The old one ones, the wrongly booked one and the one from last event, only give EP this time around.

So far I like this event, The drop from trees, stable and workshops looks like a joke to me. Either it have a reasonable drop rate or just drop it. As the drops are tied to breeding I miss the "surprise baby boom" just at the start of the breeding event, but I do think it makes it more fair regarding the different time zones. But for this event it means I will have to wait before I can (okay will) start it.

I eagerly await more vouchers to play more.

 

The drop rate for the cake vouchers on this event are abysmal. I have 2 fields covered in trees and animal pens and workshops and have gotten only 1 voucher all day. The only cake vouchers I have received are from the bear breeding. I think they need to check on this.

 

I got 0 vouchers when harvesting about 65 animal pens and workshops. Please check on this.

 

Just harvested all 3 fields...a mix of trees, animal pens and crops and I received "O" cake vouchers.

 

Morning harvest - 3 fields filled to capacity with bear pens surrounded by trees. only 8 vouchers

Edited because I can see now that 1 voucher takes you a long way.
2 cakes and 3 cakes zoom you along.

 

Step One: Getting Ready
To do well at this event, I need to get prepared...
Read the FAQs and at Mooboys thread, I stared...
Absorbed about one percent, confused by all the bears
maybe I should have a beer! or get Bare !#! No! I not dare !

Step Two: The Set Up
I have to change my fields, they are all full of crops
Out they go ! Exterminate! they are no good for drops.
Putting out my workshops, that take most of the daaaayy..
trees in the corners - bake vouchers to come my way...

Step Three: Waiting...
Oh, this is my least favourite part, The clock is really slow
but there will be rewards, Cake Vouchers! Yes ! I know!
I should go and paint the house, but the forecast is for snow...
Check my fields, No not yet.. nothing is good to go....

Step Four: Harvest!
Finally, they're ready! I've waited half a week!
but now with click(s) of a mouse, vouchers do I seek !
Ready, set, CLICK! Oh dare I take a peek?
Boldly on I go, no point in being meek!

WHAAAAAT! Nothing! BP! That's Really Mean!
After All my work. Not a cake thing to be Seen!
I kinda thought they would be few and far between,
But Nada?! oh dear, on this I am not keen.

I wanna cake voucher;I shoulda been on the list.
In the Grand scheme of things, somehow I got missed.
It is random, yes, will I, by fate, be Kissed?
But Nothing!?#! Oh Brother! I am really ...... annoyed.

Drops are non existant, we were given wrong bakery shop and some people have still not recieved theirs regardless of when they logged on to start event, that should not come into it BP.
Yet again rewards are totally pathetic for amount we have to do.
I have to say it again, even though we get told otherwise, but all feedback is not read and taken into account when doing events.
I think BP do 1 good event, ie Carnival Queen, to 10-15 bad ones. It will be too late BP before you realise how to respect your paying customers

 

I very seldom complain about drops, mostly because if mine are ever low, it's because I didn't set things up to be most advantageous. But THIS is ridiculous. I get that we aren't supposed to receive a zillion drops, because one cake voucher goes a long way, and I'm glad because I don't want to do a thousand cakes just to complete the event. But three complete fields of entirely pens and trees netted me four cake vouchers - and one of those was from the Bakery Shoppe. THIS is absurd. My first harvest gave me eight. I thought that was reasonable. Eight, twice a day or so, would be a respectable rate. Given that I have out things that should maximize my drops and this is what I get - I'm appalled.

Edit: now that Baby Boom has started, I see that the receipt of vouchers is tied directly to breeding. Shame on you, for making a non-breeding event, contingent on breeding. That is false advertising not to mention just dirty pool.

I'm only getting EP for rewards for the most part. Pretty frustrating. If you are going to run an event to supplement another, it should like supplement the other event... The only reason I was okay with two running together was because one gave bears to feed the other. As usual, disappointed. Typing it out here to vent frustration. We all know BP doesn't listen to anything we say. They also love to brush us off until there's a mob

I've only received six vouchers out of 51 breeds. Bleh this stinks.

 

After the "Wish I never started" event, I'm not bothering with this one. I'm now over the events with drop items and am only going to participate in ones that I think I can actually finish. This game has lost something......fun.

It would be nice just to have events, one at a time, where we only need to grow normal crops, fruits and animals - no drops and no event crops. Honestly, that last resort event changed the dynamics of this game for me as I wasted so many resources (harvester, buffs, etc) and the desire to participate in events has now diminished.

 

Hi here!
Could you please help me get the bakery shop? During the last Bakery event we were given the item at the start, but now I can,t find a new one anywhere. (and the old one will be on the cloud for some more hours, although Im sure there is a given spot for it for new players.

 

Okkkay have you looked in your inventory, box on left side, under the vase icon then under decorations

Drops are awful. That said, they must really be encouraging breeding for PF sale, because I just did some massive cuckoo breeding and earned 50 cake coupons. That's just insane. Hate to complain about a good thing, but that seems wildly out of balance.

 

On all farmable lands ?I have various soils and stables and trees and after an entire day (from 20 hour trees, some 18 hour stables, etc) I got TWO vouchers. My Legend stands on 29/ 30.

I will bake as many as I can and not worry about the rest.... I will get as far as they let me, that,s all.
Same like how I didn,t worry about the tourist event, I sold manure at a reasonable price and am happy with the result. This weekend I,m selling bears.

 

I finished this event before my Cake Boosters were milled.

I could have done a little better but sometimes the ink doesn't flow good in my pen and then I can't ready my own writing.

If I switched to Print Screen then my computer would probably get stuck between screens and I would run out of time.

If I switched to pencil the lead would probably break.

Guess I just have to be satisfied with the current results.
