Combo Event..There and Back Again/Icing on The Cake

Crops we are all in same boat. Ive only gained 4 all day from trees, pens and worshops and 15 from over 100 bear breedings.
The developers have control over how many vouchers we recieve, its just a case of using what you get and accept the prizes you win im afraid.

What level are you and do you have trophies out in your fields when you harvest, they suppose to help with drops

 

crops - I would suggest breeding animals. I have received many cake vouchers since the beginning of BBD. Good luck!

 

On the Bear side, I have just finished getting BOTH cloud rows up and running! Got a fair amount of cake vouchers from breeding and it is faster than waiting for trees/pens to be ready! Good luck and really just have fun! It is a GAME and it is what it is! Off to finish packing for my "Out of state move" in a week!

 

One cloud row up and running half way through cake event. Breeding is going to be your best bet on getting cake vouchers.

 

Ok can someone help me out here? where did the quests go for the bears? its not at the FS area... I have looked... its gone.. or did i miss OA saying they had to take it out for now?

I've still got what feels like really low drops, though I also got 13 from breeding (from 66 breedings)
Looking at the event progress, though, I'm well over halfway there and we're only a quarter of the way into the event. There's going to be no problem finishing even though I'm only picking up about 1-2 drops a field of pens.

I suspect what's happened is that the game team has taken note of all the people complaining about having to do the same mini-game a bajillion times and that it gets dull. They've turned the drop rate and requirements both right down....and now people are panicking (and complaining) about the low drop rate. I guess they can't win

 

Some time ago I saw it announced somewhere (FAQ? News? Announcement?): the Bear Breeding Quest becomes available once the Event has ended.
No specific bear FSQ yet.

oh ok i just reload the game again and i still dont see the wedding bells quests at all... i thought for sure i seen it in there when they told us about it.... maybe i was dreaming... no telling with me... ok then i guess that sums that issue up...lol now if my counter for the cake will add right or am i missing something with that counter... i been getting perfect cakes at 35 each did over 7 and i am still in the 200 range.. this rate i may not make it to the very end...

edit i was past 245 not by much did like 7 perfect cakes and i am barely at im guessing 270 as i got a gap to 280

 

Done with both events. CRs up and running.
Needed "only" 65 cake vouchers. 3 failures. One, when the bakery shop was booked and the small window got into my way, one I was too fast and one I was just unconcentrated. For the moment I have 33 vouchers still to bake and have done lots over the required amount.
Bear breeding gave loads of vouchers for the cake event, which gave me a good few mammal badges.
Now I am using BBD to get some coloured bears for the upcoming quests.

Ok update on me.... i got the cake event done and one round of the bears done... I dont know about the secound round as i ran out of bears to use....lol but i am working on that and still have a field of bears and plenty time left to do so... may run out of feed though...lol which i had like 500 already and got some as rewards... i should make it ya think...lol least if im lucky enough ....lol

Also to my neighbors who sent me some.. a very big thank you.... you helped me... i know who you are.. and one day i pray i can return that favor

Whew!! Glad that's over...have been breeding bears for almost a month, so still have a few hundred left for FSQ's - can't wait to free my fields and send those bears back to the forest....!!

As has been said, breeding is the best way to get drops....maybe the only way to get enough to finish. It was designed that way, as this is a bear breeding event.

I'm excited about Crystal Falls - the new Tropical field we'll be getting on Monday, July 24th, @14:00 CEST!! It has been a long time coming! And the requirements are actually quite reasonable, too! Woo Hoo!!!

I just completed that gives 4 Party Spins and 1500TEP x lv (step 9?) and I have 65 mammal badges. Since I don't plan on doing the 2nd round of the bear event, I only need to breed 5 more times and complete step 10 of cake event to get enough badges. Haven't figured out yet what bears to donate yet as my skips are the usual non-existent I have plenty of bears and PF but I don't know if I want to use all them up to get the 2nd CR Already have a Red Hammock Factory. Congrats to all who finished!!

 

I bred 10 bears and only got two vouchers. Is that how it's going for most people?
Bred another ten and same results, 2 vouchers.

Edit: The 2nd trip around (bears) gives a much better cloud row, and, Imho, is the one that is worth going for. Thinking of using the first one to add to my Campground on Shipwreck!

 

Think it's pretty much representative for me. It's ofc random, and can be more, but I don't think I've ever gotten less.

My roundtrip is done too. Not sure I think it was a good idea, but I did it anyway. The cakes take a lot longer, too many at one time makes it dull as chips. But I think I have enough vouchers to finish. There's no CR for this one, right ?
