The Crystal Falls

Thanks to the "Monkey Queen" I was able to open 2 of the parcels of land in the Crystal Falls!
40 golden bananas and 400 farm coins did it! It will be awhile before I have enough in my barn to do the Quest part and then be willing to part with them! the new land thanks BP and good luck to all going to the Crystal Falls!

 

opened the 3 pats of the Crystal falls. Happy. But really. It cleans my barn of crops & animals.

 

I really should control my impulsive urge to do stuff before I check it out! I thought the Crystal Falls FSQ was one of a series of quests and that we would need to wait to open the other areas on Crystal Falls. Before I realised this, I spent some of the GBs I had kept back (just in case!) on one of the trees I have been hankering after for a while (needed for an FSQ of course!) - only to find out I could have opened a second plot! Now I will have to wait ... again!

Too tired to be sensible!

Love the new island ... I actually took the time to look around at the beasties popping up here and there. Or did I just drop off and find myself staring at the screen!

I used mostly Koalas and Camels - it was the crops that I hesitated over. I had a nice little store of crops that has now been devastated but it was worth it! Didn't know what to put on the plots so put a few trees out and will decide later. Will be very useful at the next grow and throw event!

 

I like the look of the new island. I open 2 plots. I am not willing to empty my barn just yet

 

Yep so I'm assuming most have opened the area on Crystal Falls using the Golden Bananas,A good few have opened the area using the Farm Coins,But not so many have opened the area through the Quest?I for one am not emptying my barn I worked hard to fill to get a little space somewhere else,That's just not happening!(Yet,i'll succumb at some point!).

 

As much as I love new lands, I hope Bigpoint don't increase the crop requirement for future events

 

Second that, Just blew away all my 16K of honey melon bla bla, and ofc it's not enough. I should have sold it instead while the price is high. Just to add to my foolishness I went along and - BOUGHT - some Luckily sanity went past me on it's way to it's vacation and stopped this stupidity for blowing away all my hard earn bear CC

So I have only opened 2 areas as well. My hippo hoarding willjust have to continue

 

Opened two plots as well. The island is beautiful, but that quest is going to take some time to finish

Ohh no Oldman, that's just horrible Only good thing about it, it takes a lot less time to gather than if it were 2 mill

 

I am one of those who didn't realise until I'd actually started that just the first quest would virtually empty my barn of crops. Meanwhile, back on the island, I have to rapidly grow / purchase crops just to turn into animal feed. I cut my losses and decided, despite the lovely new island, I'd give it a miss. The cost of it outweighs the use. Golden coins, which means doing an event I probably don't want, just to get another section and golden bananas is the only one I'll get.

As a corollary to this, why on earth are we getting yet another tropical island plot, when most of us are desperate for more mainland. There are probably only around 25% of the trees and animals related to Baha, but it now has the same area as the mainland. Why?

I have been here now for >seven years and I have watched it change from being a game where it's predominantly farming with events which give you extras, to back to back and sometimes overlapping events which seem now to be the dominant feature and farming is just an optional extra to get things to toss into events. I have given up mostly on the events, because I just can't find them entertaining, interesting or even relevant - long crops times, low drop rates, time consuming and prizes that dwindle in value every time.

I have an inventory stuffed full of trees, pens, stables, workshops, decorative - both consumable and EP/CC givers, etc and nowhere to put them. I have got to the point of wondering what exactly is the aim of this game and I am very fond of my little farm. It's just that the game seems to be going nowhere fast.


Really BP - perhaps ask a player what they really want, instead of what the gamers in your development team think would be 'cool'.

• Can Buy Owl Pet for 150 Farm Coins From Shop - 0 - Rama
• 1 each of Owl and Crow Pet can be place in Crystal Fall helps gain more TEP

Need 2,225,000 Tropical Crops Values

So far i have got Two Zones Opened up now working on Crystal Fall Quest, Market Prices have already gone up steeply !! The Extra Field Space will help work on this Quest ​

 

Where do all the farm coins come from?? i have 77 on my way to 400 not this year,

 

I have opened all three sections and, as Mooboy rightly says, we can use this space to replenish our stocks! I just feel sorry for people who hand harvest - so much more clicking. Been there, done that when I first started playing.

 

Monkey queen, and at least one breeding event which also dropped FC. Pretty sure there will be a new opportunity in the near future

Me too! Got it from Monkey Queen. Both farm coins & Golden bananas. Market is going crazy & me too. I do not know whether I should empty my stock in the markets or keep them safe for Nublon Event ???

 

I got loads of Golden Bananas and Farm Coins from Monkey Queen Event. It is a huge help. Hey 12ss12 I started to flog crops,fruits and Animals while prices are high can always restock them when prices have cooled down

I have surplus amount of GB and Farm Coins. So it helps to spend my GB and Farm Coins, i wish i can give them to more needy farmers.

 

I opened all 3 plots on the new island. The hardest one to part with was the animals....it took over 600 hippos (ouch). I had bought tons of honeydew melons much before market went nuts....and of course the rest Thanks to the Monkey Queen!

I did forget to get another crow and owl pet to put out on new island before I planted with a long time crop....oh well there's always tomorrow. LOL

 

"only 600" I have more than that, at least that was some good news. Big sigh of relief, so a few more all field events and I have the crops part too. But I do worry about those products
