Neon Stables Event

It's not that there aren't any skips at all. It's just that there are no good skips. From a batch of 132 animals bred, one can expect very few 2nd level skips and even less of everything else.

This all leads to a lackluster event, and breeding feels like a chore rather than having any excitement. Furthermore, the market for base animals and breeding animals tends to sink when there's little excitement. Very few people push their breeding past the minimum because there's no hope of getting to make extra Neon Stables or Pink Workshops.

Out of 70 breeding I got a Fire donkey from regs and a Puffer fish from regs. That's the best I have had in a very very long time. Of course I am not expecting any more skips like that Anymore I view BBD as simply a way of getting extras. If there happens to be a good skip in there, then that's a bonus

 

I got all 3 neon pens now. I am out of power feed so I am done with this event.

 

Skip...skips...skips...terrible. Not even a single good skip. Aiming for the cloud row. Doing donkey breeding. Need to complete that quest which gives you a pink donkey stall & pink donkey workshop for a golden donkey.

 

Ive noticed last 3 boomer/doomer events have not been on the kind side obviously forcing us to buy baskets etc

 

I got the neon pens I won't get anything else.
I didn't have good skips either I didn't spend many PF but I am left with only 300 donkeys. My fish and ostriches are still over 1000 so that's good.
I will sell ostriches and fish now

I agree with Decree & phoenixboy12. It has been planned so by game developers.

 

I too finished the event but the sad part is Donkeys waiting for the buyers. However Fishes and Ostriches helped me in making millions

 

Went ahead and did the whole thing up to the CR, using mainly regular animals to donate. Biggest ouch was the PF for the CR, but swallowed hard and did it anyway. Only went for one of the extra givers, the bat. Personally, I'm of the opinion we should have been able to get these much cheaper since we didn't get them as prizes during the last neon breeding. And I agree with the farmer (was it Mooboy, maybe?) who was disappointed that we didn't get 2 neon pens for our efforts. Would have made the PF usage and poor skips more bearable.

 

I also would have really appreciated getting 2 Neon pens ea....kind of disappointing.
Finished early yesterday, and got everything. CR gave really good ep/tep.

 

Didn't even noticed the neon shop with old givers So I rushed in, grabbed 3 of each cos I did some serious donkey breeding (towards the breeding quest) so I had plenty of those lockets. Thank you Spotsbox for mentioning them. Good givers.

 

I didn't sell many regular animals, maybe I got 1 million CC so I am okay with that.
