have any of my fellow farmers used the train to try & get new trees? if so, how have you fared?

Got a couple of xxl nutmegs after getting rid of a load of unwanted xl trees. Def recommend throwing all your unwanted stuff on there.

 

I have also gotten some good trees from xl trees I never use. Even getting XXL farm trees is ok with me as I use them all the time. I have gotten a couple of the new ones and will send the train off as long as I can.

 

I've been shipping off old excess trees of base value 300 something x3 (ex blackthorn) plus x2 of XL value 500 something (ex locust) plus one base apple tree to get gold cargo. I haven't put any out yet as I work on the event. I like to put out lots of mystery stuff all at once to better my odds of getting something good.

 

I got 1 XXL Durian tree from a gold seedling... I will try bronze seedling for mainland now.

 

I have done 3 gold for Baha and got 1 Tikki! 1xxl Sandelwood and 1 xxl Mandarin
also 3 gold for Mainland and got 2 Yew's and 1 xxl bladdernut
So I am off to put more on the train to see what else I might get !

Thanks everyone! I am using only gold so far! And just got a Yangmei tree! Trust me when I say I am not usually this lucky so I am really enjoying this train event! Still have lots more of the New trees to get, so off again to the train station! I hope you all get some new ones too!

Been having great results with the train - Love it!! Just harvested 2 Tikis, a Jujube, now have 4 Yangmei, 3 Salak palm, XXL & Xl Mangrove trees, several XXL Durian and XXL Sandalwood, and Nutmeg trees. Using Gold.
I can't possibly give away five years of accumulated trees (hundreds and hundreds++ of licenses) @ the next G&T, so am converting lots of them...and instead of giving 6(ho hum trees) = 1(I can give G-r-e-a-t trees)!

 

I'm getting rid of all my excess trees - I've kept 2 of each tree and getting rid of the rest, so I have lots and lots of rounds to get through! So far I've managed to pick up 3 Myrrha, 1 Tikki, 1 Acacia, 1 Yew, 1 Birch, 1 Magellon's beech, and a couple of trees that I already had enough of (these were mostly upgrades but of course I got the base with it). Loving this event so far! Will update at the end with my final haul

 

I managed to get a Yew and Goat Willow from 2 bronze seedlings and an XXL Durian from a silver seedling. I've only done one gold so far and that turned into an XXL Persian Silk. I'm waiting on a few more bronze seedlings, so far they have given me the best results in getting two new trees.

Update - just got an XXL nutmeg from a bronze seedling, I didn't have a nutmeg so I'm happy!!

 

Look in the General Issues > Trans-Seedlantic Missing Information {posted by Decree} and you will find a link in escalonilla's reply to a chart that shows Tree Values.

This is helpful because you can pre*plan those trees you want to try & trade in rather than endlessly loading trees onto the train to configure values /totals.

Jujube, Nutmeg, Salak, Yangmei, Birch and XXL Bladdernut and misc XXL that I already had.

It sure would be nice to if we could load up 20500 worth of trees and get 10 trees in one trip. Even with the wait I like the train events (trees and stables).

 

I'm looking at all the great results everyone is having on this event, I wish I was one of them... I used the train ONCE and all I had to put on train was apple trees and XXL Peach trees and did receive one seedling, but since then it says I have no more trees in inventory to load (I have TONS of trees to recycle, but they aren't accessible to me for some reason!) Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong-how can I get to my inventory of trees so I can recycle them? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Never mind-figured it out! Realize I had to "chop down" trees first (thought they would automatically be taken off my land!) It's all good!
