FAQ is out, a quick crunch of the numbers came up with:

India: 5100 Cattail reeds
270 Limestone

China: 5100 Cattail reeds
4020 Golden Papyri
270 Limestone
192 Soapstone

Mexico: 4020 Golden Papyri
192 Soapstone

Totals are then: 10,200 Cattail reeds
8,040 Golden Papyri
540 Limestone
384 Soapstone

India and Mexico also both require animal donations, but not sure what those will be.

This event is playable on ALL fields, with Cattail/Limestone coming from mainland fields only, and Golden Papyri/Soapstone coming from Baha fields (including Crystal Falls) only. So if at all possible, try to get as much of Crystal Falls open as you can. Good luck everyone, and have fun!

Numbers dont seem to high, again others better than will work out total harvests required. Only mystery seems to be how many and what animals are needed, FAQ's did say up to 'your' level so hopefully everyone can achieve their goals.

Only downfall for me is the 2 donatable items again, lets hope BP will start to listen to us and re think that stupid idea it puts us in a predicament I will send Limestones as that are the most required unless my neighbours ask.

Thank you spotsbox for getting the numbers...the tricky predetermined random animals is a bit worrisome but still positively the goal is achievable...Better to go for China first to get 24 hrs -100 % more Ep when harvesting...Good luck and Happy Farming to all.

 

I will skip this event, I have to do many preparations for university. I will have to leave the island.
Anyone participating it would be helpful if you could post the animals that it is required to donate so players like me who won't take part can make a profit by selling animals in the market.

According to Spanish and French FAQ the amount of animals is known. Level 1 of India and Mexico each require 1 random animal, level 2 requires 2 random animals, and so on. That makes the total random animal requirement 156. That doesn't seem too scary- as long as we don't keep getting asked for the same animal over and over again. The French also say that, though they can't confirm baha animals won't be required, in all the testing they did on the event only mainland animals were requested.

 

Ok I am not awake and we know me not awake cant read...lol I was thinking 78 left and 78 right side of animals. But got to thinking. Number amounts.... Wonder if that's just per animals or if we will have to donate alot... like say step 2 is 2 of them... lets say it will ask for rabbits and cows.. or just 2 rabbits...wonder if it will be 2 animals or 2 animals worth of so many points?

I barely have crystals falls opened and i'm not removing my trees from it.. so I will do what I can as I hate to pass up any event.. I just don't think this is doable for me... I am low on some animals and being my luck them numbers wont mean per animal.like step 6 wont be 6 animals) it will mean like step 6 will ask for 6 different animals and maybe like 5000 worth of them...that was my question BTW.

I will give it a go no matter what and see how this plays out.... the CR on the other hand, Well I don't know... to me don't look to good... exp and coins yes.... 5 tools... i'm thinking on that still...lol It is however better then no tools... So yea its ok Only 12 hour CD anyway.

This One is will not be Funny. crops and drops we can handle, Random Animals plan on anything you don't have 2 chickins they'll want 22
if you have 50 dogs they'll want 0 good luck, i'm buildin my cc's the market will be H--- . my market is filled with greedy pigs o ya we won't need pigs see ya at the other end. keep track of the drops and post my spelt is going down now.

 

Looks like the animals go up incrementally so one the first level 12 the last level for left and right... Problem is are they going to be 'random' or "really random"...because BP's idea of random has, in the past, seemed like it checks my barn as says, oh look, she doesn't have any newts, so let's ask for newts over and over again. This time around for me, it's the pheasant or the crocodile. They ask me for those, I'm toast.

It's a nice cloud row though with only a 12 hour cool down time so possible to harvest twice a day most days.

You know I'm gonna try. Means I gotta redo the farms again. Heavy sigh...

 

FYI ... Everyone ... Again, this is only a 5 day event, so the daily average drop rates is different.

540 Limestone (divided by 5) = (avg 108 drops daily)
384 Soapstone (divided by 5) = (avg 77 drops daily)

Start: Thursday, 31st of August at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)
End: Tuesday, 5th of September at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)

Below explains how event becomes 5 days.
08-31 at 14:00 (8am) until 09-01 at 14:00 (8am) = 24 hours or 1 day … BEGIN
09-01 at 14:00 (8am) until 09-02 at 14:00 (8am) = 24 hours or 2 days
09-02 at 14:00 (8am) until 09-03 at 14:00 (8am) = 24 hours or 3 days
09-03 at 14:00 (8am) until 09-04 at 14:00 (8am) = 24 hours or 4 days
09-04 at 14:00 (8am) until 09-05 at 14:00 (8am) = 24 hours or 5 days … END

As you can see, event is only 5 days, because it ends at 14:00 (08am) on Sept. 5th.
The event does not go all day on 09-05-2017 (the last day).

 

The drop is good compared to the 200 + drops we needed for last event. We also have 1 more field to use, Crystal falls.
I can't miss out on all those TEPs/EPs and CCs, and the cloud row.
I'm in, I will do my best.

It's seems modest for the numbers, but wait! there's a baby boom going on. hmmm. I wonder if that was the reason for it coming out of the blue? the drop items needed are reasonable..I'm suspicious (no, nervous) that they're going to be few and far between.
Done too many of these events to get all happy and smug and have my confidendence shaken down to a pea.The CR is decent. I put an all out effort to get that last patch opened last week on the falls; costly little thing it was! I'll do what Spotsbox is doing...sending out limestone.

I'm all in! This event last time it was here gave a ton of EP and CC. The animals asked for were reasonable and were all normal animals so no worries about being rare stables. Cloud row twice a day and is X farm level rather than a set amount. All fields available. Drops will seem low even if they aren't really only because we don't need as many. Only thing I don't like is crops are two different times.

Need to put out long crops tonight and then in the morning....Ready! Set! Go!

 

manure never came down to dirt cheap at the market after the last event, so likely going to soar sky high this time around. So those sitting out the event can make a lot of CCs selling manure.

I haven't pulled up my trees yet. May have to for this one.

 

The event seems to be very interesting, having 2 types of plant and drop. I will have to dismantle both farms, main one and baha, so I am not very happy. But if I want the rewards....
Just finger cross I will have, at least, the most part of the animals required, as my stock of animals is not very generous

I'm all in for this event. I really like the theme & graphics. I also was just finally able to renew my harvester subscription so no more harvesting, seeding, etc. by hand thank goodness. Good luck to everyone!
