so sorry joanc. We've all done it! There is a thread about making mistakes that are unfortunate for the player but also kind of funny and you can see what all kinds of silliness we've all done with our farms.

 

I did stumble on that thread once. Thank you pup, I am in good company!

 

Speaking of mistakes -- I just got on a little while ago. I planted my first event seeds (10 of each) using the 'all helpers' I received from a farmer's society quest. The seeder mostly filled all my wee corner squares that give 2 and 3 instead of the main squares that give 5. Ugh. Won't get much from the first batch after a long wait -- and hate that I had to use super grow on those tiny squares. Oh well -- I imagine I won't have the animals to finish it anyway. I'll just go as far as I can go on this event and then back to normal farming.

Tip: Finish your first coffee before farming.


ETA: Ah, just read back -- I see joanc123 and I are having the same coffee issues.

 

I am starting with 156 limestone and 121 soapstone. I planted now the second round of plants.
As animals I can see that I need for now chameleon and elephants. I do hope it will rest like this, as I have plenty of these animals but very few of others

PS so sorry for you joanc123, if is any consolation, I forgot to use the chutney...

I received some pumpkin jam as a gift -- can anyone tell me if you have to use it before seeding or will it take affect on those already planted? I'm guessing it's the first (use/eat before planting), but thought I'd check. It's probably here on the forum somewhere, but not finding it. I'll use it on the next event plants if it's before seeding (to make up for my mistake earlier).

As far as I know it is working after planting as well, somehow similar to the chutney, just that it is giving you just +1 extra compare with chutney which gives +2 extra, and the effect last less, 4 hours only.

 

Thank you, gecko. I just found an old thread where someone said to eat before harvesting -- so with your confirmation as well, looks like I'm good even after planting. Appreciate the response.

 

Just as i expected as i know Baha Animals will be included in Mexico (right Side) as it makes sense.

Got 150 150 Limestone, 106 Soapstones. It a Huge Helps to get the remaining stones in quickest possible time. Now the next step is build up stock of Cattails Reeds and Golden Papyri.

I made mistakes many moons ago. As it always best to check your Buffs before Harvesting Crops.

On my farm it is asking for 1 Parrot and 1 Beaver

 

I am at level 96 on Mainland and level 313 on Baha
on my farm they are asking for
1 Chameleon and 1 Koala
I am hoping to get at least half of each crop grown before I start to build the buildings!

 

I started to build the building on the right. I was asked to give elephant, anaconda and now parrots.
The graphics is amazing. Well done BP!

 

Random animals appear to be Mainland for India and Tropical for Mexico.

So far each 1/2 step increases by one the animals required. Step 1 was 1; Step 2 was 2 and Step 3 was 3. If this continues than it means the maximum random animal required would be 12.

UPDATE: Post below shows Mainland stayed with same animal so far through Step 7 so you could need 78. Mine went Beaver, Beaver, Chameleon, Donkey, Beaver. I guess they want to keep us guessing. My last 3 were Donkeys.

Dreadfully late start with RL work issues. 147 limestone and 103 soapstone on initial harvest. Thanks for all the info on animals!

 

Main animal was Beaver steps 1 - 6, request for step 7 is Beaver. It's a good thing I like the Beaver Habitat.
Baha was Monkey, Camel, Monkey, request for 4 is Sloth.
Level 90 and 286.

 

Late start planting, but up and running now. 149 Limestone, 142 soapstone so far. Step one animal requirements for me are chameleon and sloth. Can't decide where to start building, tho. Guess it doesn't really matter, will just start laying stones and growing crops.
