I have finished India and Mexico this morning!:D Now waiting for drops to do the last 9 steps of China! I do have all the event crops needed!;) I hope I can get them! Congrats to all who have finished and Good Luck to the rest of us waiting for drops or crops to grow!:music::music:

Glad to hear so many are finishing early. I planted my initial crops at the beginning of the event and went to work. When I came home, found out we had a monsoon (a monsoon in sunny Southern California????) that took out 14 light poles. No electricity for nearly two days! Grateful to have power again and the use of fans!! Now, we'll see how much of this I can finish. Luckily, I have a good stock of most animals and crops.

5% increase in the chance for a drop.
After I'd upped my trophies the stress for drops went away. I'm a dropping pro now8) o_O

I'm done with bahama stuff, I messed up, and therefore I ended up infront of the schedule.... Now I accidentally sprayed my quick-in- between-harvest of wheat with suzie, oh joy. I was saving them as if they were water in the desert, and then misclick = Happy Wheat Minutes -.-
It's not the end of the world. The Maya calender has no more entries so we don't know when the end of the world is, but I'm sure it's not at the same time as happy wheat minute. -.-

I'm sorry to hear about your rain Solatido, but I'm sure you'll catch up in no time :) Congratulations to all those have finished, impressive dedication and severe FOCD. Good luck to the rest of us, may the suzie only be sprayed when needed, and no unwanted field deletions (that hurt, and it wasn't even my field!)

Glad you're okay, Solatido, even if you were kept from your farm. ♥
Got Mexico done, 1 step away from finishing India, then 6 more to finish China. :) I think I have enough Baha crops, should probably take a minute to do the math :p, need a few more of the cattail reeds ( I love that crop, wish we could keep it!). Drops are reasonable; my trophies are fully maxed and have the Living Legend rune open so don't have to tote them around. Best part of all: I didn't event have to tear out my trees from Baha like I thought I would! :D I was going to at the start of the event, but was too lazy to do so xD. They're giving pretty good drops, so it's a fair trade off for longer time to finish crops, I think. Congrats to those who have finished, and good luck to those still farming alongside me! :inlove:

    Event finished !

    PS
As Moraine said, very true, each Howie will increase the drop rate with 5%, so for ex 20 Howie will increase it with 100%. Of course, the more Howie you use ( one Howie takes 1x1), the less field you can plant, so you have to find the perfect balance :). As in life, you can't have everything:oops:

I have finished this event yesterday. I was getting good drops of Limestone Growing Oats ;)

Moraine / geckofeet666 about the Howie Donuts does not give you guarantee 5% More Drops per Howie Donut. Correction is each Howie Donut gives up to 5% Chance of more Drops.

I have found at times we can get more drops without using Howie Donuts. I have experience getting less drops using Howie Donuts. It all down to Drop Rate Scripts that is set during an Event. Howie Donuts works a treat most of the time but not all of the Time. They are very hard to obtain now only through Barter and Gift Event. It is a shame cannot get Howie Donuts by buying BB Bundles from the Stores, like it use to be.

But we did have a chance to get a Howie Donut from Renzo Fair, not so long ago i think it now been removed from Renzo Shop.

I'm so lazy, I don't ever bother to put out my Howie :p, and I traded my 2nd one for something I really wanted last G&T. My drops are usually fine without having to remember to lug him around, but I'll keep him on standby...just in case. ;)

I don't own a "Howie Donut" but so far I think I am doing ok!:p Like spotsbox I left my trees out on Baha and RF as that was my plan, and right now I just need 18 more Soapstone and 116 lime stone to finish this event!xD Fingers crossed on the limestone but I will just keep farming along! Good luck and have fun!;)

Thank you all for your sage advice!! :)
CR up and giving, I like this one. Needed 2 limes, got 9 from a field of mushrooms.
Congratulations to those finished, and Good luck to all still working it.
Don't forget to post in the SOS thread if you need stone. Lots of people have an extra gift or two and are willing to help. :) I asked my neighbors to pass them on.

I'm like spotsbox - too lazy to move my Howie's (I have 2) and to be honest when both are on the same field there isn't a massive difference when compared to similar fields with none on my farm.
Well done to all who have finished; just 15 more limestone and I too will be done.

Despite RL work issues (overtime nearly every night for a weeko_O) that have affected harvesting, I'm not doing too bad. Just got all the main land crop done, with 76 limestone to go. Over half of the Baha crop is in the barn, with 50 soapstone to go.

Congrats to all that are finished - and I hope to join you soon!:)

Wow congrats to those who have finished! I've been glued to this event, setting timers to harvest and replant, never any idle time between crops, drops still very low even with long growing crops, but I'm used to that now. I'm mad at myself because I forgot to restart CAC before harvesting the first round in Baha yesterday morning, put me even further behind on the lots of golden papyrus and soapstone I still need. If I had all of Crystal Falls open that would be a big help but only managed to open one area so far. After this event, I'm going to work on opening the rest. I cannot believe I forgot to use the CAC on that round, there's a note attached to my computer for goodness sake.

I recently found out that it is possible to load more than one CAC at once, for ex you put 3 CAC and it will last 3x18 hours.
Loading 4-5 at the beginning of the event will save me losing crops.
I am sure many know this already, but I am still posting this maybe there are others, like myself, who don't know this :)

Top that with a Pinky Pie Pie and you extend the time by 30%. :)

Grats everyone to who is done and about to be done. Me I am still tugging away at it.... this is where i am at..

    176 limestones
    50 soapstones
    2316 cattail reed
    with 42 hours left.

is all i need to finish the event.... my right side is done and so is left.. just waiting on my donkeys to finish and i will have left done... at next harv i am gonna use the 100 percent ex to hopefully help with drops... so we will see very shortly... i think i have this... just a matter of time...I will have to work hard on the 176 limestones... but think i shouldn't have to worry...

Yes - I always set up each event with enough CAC to finish (along with a pinkie pie). Too many times did I harvest accidentally without a CAC!!!!

I'm down to finishing off the China building now. Still need 208 limestone and 75 soapstone, and the last of the cattails have been planted, along with some rose hip and honeydew melon.

As irritating as it was to have a monsoon and no power for almost 2 days, my thoughts and prayers have been with those in Texas and Louisiana. As well as how wonderful it is to see the humanity come out in people. Those with boats within driving distance showing up to join in the rescue, an exclusive furniture company turning their store into a shelter, and other stories . . . .

Hope many of you are sending prayers and well wishes their way as well! All the best . . .

When using Buffs. You can use just one Buff or more than one. As Pinky Pie Pie can extend Buffs by 30% but it is only worth using PPP when eating more 1 Buff such as CAC.

You can only max out Buffs up to 200 Hours so the max CAC you can use is about 7 x CAC with PPP

I have always advise farmers to check Buffs before harvesting to prevent mishaps during farming or doing events.
