    Not even a gap day, it's madness. I'm all in. Madness and I go hand in hand with FOCD.
    Thank you Arielh for starting the thread, my numbers are always wrong so I rather skipp all the edits :D

    Quick crunching of the numbers : 304 steps to be made
    with just biofuel cans, 1 step => 19 760 crop, 1216 drop & 1216 Sunflowers
    With just xl cans, 3 steps => 101,67 cans => 18 750 crop, 1 115 drop & 2 529 Sunflowers (that is with 1 biofuel cans)
    With just XXL cans, 6 steps => 50,83 cans needed => 18 250 crop, 1015 drop & 2529 Sunflowers (that's with 1 XL and 1 cans)

    I'm sure the numbers are slightly off, they tend to be. But it does look like a usual throw & grow - No Grow FIRST, THEN throw. Need to be in that order, otherwise it won't work. Can't throw stuff I don't have.

    Now I need to check the rewards and see which ones that tickles my fancy. *hums* "I want it all, I want it all... and I want it now"

    Μoraine I count 304 steps not 305 so maybe that's why we have slightly different numbers.
    I have skipped 2 events in a row and even though I liked normal farming I can't skip this one too! I thought my FOCD was being cured but it doesn'txD So I will start this event but maybe I won't aim for all the rewards...maybe..:p

    I'm glad I hesitated too Moraine. I added up the steps quickly then doubled them, don't ask me why!:( I ended up needing nearly 40k of crops and 2,000 drops. LOL! o_O

    Thank goodness for the clever farmers (thank you Arielh) who can do the sums. ;)

    I did think about missing this one - more blooming milling! >:( But then I saw all those shiny prizes and, gulp :wuerg:, I'm in too! Have a nice easy week this week and the beginning of next week (let's hope that doesn't change :eek:) so I am confident that I can grow all the stuff. Will be aiming to do the XXLs (and get all the prizes!) but it all depends how the drops ... drop! :oops:

    I have my mills filled to the top with PF on main and much needed animal chow on Baha so will leave the milling till I have all the necessary stuff and do it in one go. Hey, that sounds like a strategy! 8)

    Good luck all ... jump on that Moraine Madness train! Only those crazy enough to even consider this event allowed onboard! xDxDxD

    No way. I'm going to pass on this. Too soon! :cry:
    I'll provide dung for those who participate, and work on some FSQs!
    Good luck farmers!
    (Thank you Arielh for working out the numbers! As always, a HUGE help!) ;)

    yep 304 steps Arielh, you're right. Thankfully, cos that's one step less xD

    Edit, more thoughts into the crowded brain:
    Arielh's numbers are better for making strategy since she took the time to calculate it race for race. :inlove:

    Also noticed XXL are very kind on the sunflowers, so unless the rewards lure us astray we can get away with throwing a lot less by making XXL. It's very eco friendly too, use less, make large batches - and go race flying ??o_O

    Edit II:
    ...
    You defo qualify with those numbers xDxDxD

    Mereira maybe you can decide to do a couple of races and not all of them. The requirements will be less then.

    I'm also on the Crazy train and am inxD With such a high number of crops, I may need to consider removing some of the things I left out for the Back to the Past event in order to not goof up as I did.

    Just a quick note...thanks Ariel for the breakdown. :)

    If you plan on changing lanes for different rewards, beware that you will need more crops and fuel cans. The numbers in the first post are for straight through with no lane changes. Too bad we can only get 1 Neon pen. The Neon rabbit will work hard on my farm but the Neon goat (along with the Neon duck) is my favorite. Just too cute. :inlove: Have to pick between cute or function.:p:cry:xD

    LOL Pups - you qualify, step aboard! :)

    I saw the shiny Farm Coins and I swear I saw Golden Bananas but can't see them now! o_O The other stuff was just a blur but I will welcome all with open arms ... mine, all mine! :inlove:

    Would have liked to see more Harvester Coupons, I mean, 1 One Hour Harvester, sheesh kebab! -.-

    illy - race 5 step 17, you have to pick between stars and golden bananas

    I really wish we could gift those, I much prefer to pay for the harvester.
    I'm dreading looking at the rewards, I'll start to drool, and struggle to decide waht I want. The ones I really like to have are usually paired together. Cruel trick by the devs, they know me too well

    Oh boy, I never noticed that we have to choose. I'm a Gemini and everyone knows we can't choose! :cry:

    Now there will be no contest between Stars and Golden Bananas (even just 2!!!) but the other stuff ... o_O

    Thank you Pnp for pointing out that we will have to get more crops and drops if we want to change lanes and we have to choose what rewards to get, I had forgot about this:oops:

    Illy I can never choose and I am Aquarius. Μaybe it is a common thing haha

    Right now I am moving some of my pens and trees from main Baha and the Rainforest to Crystal Falls. We won't be able to use that land for the event. I wish I had more space to place all of my pens there but now I will keep some to get drops.

    Pnp, I have the same problem! Which to choose? Rabbit or Goat? Which will give me the biggest bang for the buck? Rabbits are part of that sneaky snakes food, and Goat......hmmm, can't think of anything for Goat. Maybe Rabbit would be better choice?

    For me my order of preference is TEP, CCs, then EP. Of course I need SG and SSG when those come up. Don't think I'm gonna bother with trying to get the cloud row this time. Just scoop up what goodies I can in the races.

    Yikes, I may be changing lanes so much in these races, I might not be so eco-friendly after all........!

    Good thinking MsTheaP. I think I'll go for the wabbits, never heard about goat season anyway (Daffy/ Bugs Bunny Joke). I managed to get hold of a goat milk tree, so I'm not that desperate for goat milk, even forgot why I felt I needed one. Note to self: go to Artisan village and make stuff.

    My priority would be the TEP & PF. I remembered I really had fun doing this event last year :D

    My goal is to do as straight a race as possible with minimal switching. Rather than looking at each individual step, I looked more globally. The EP/TEP/CC not selected in one step will show up in another step so it will be balanced (for me). I may switch for PF but on the whole, I think I will have very few lane changes. I think I have a plan mapped out but will take an electronic break and review my notes again in a little while just to be sure my plan is what I want to do.

    Yeah, maybe I will do that! I could really use some extra farm coins! :D

    o_Ooo.....that's a good point too, pnp. That way you can get to the fifth race using the most efficient path possible. Talk about eco-friendly!! Are the prizes in the fifth race any better than races 2-4? Is the cloud row worth the effort to just plow through the races? Just curious....

    Man I just checked both my farms, and neither has the rabbit or goat neon pen. Now how did THAT happen? *sigh*

    Thanks for the numbers Arielh. I am hopping on this train too!:p As pnp said, I hope to use the most direct path with few if any lane changes! Good luck and happy farming to all!

    I'm loving that this thread gets started so quickly. Thanks so much for crunching those numbers!

    Hope everyone noticed that we almost have a moonlight mania on the first day! This time just plain mania, no special event. Yeah! I need to work on some cloud row/FSQ crops!
