Aces High- strategy thread

no contest - rabbit. Neon rabbit pen got my attention first thing. This farm doesn't have the neons from the event where they first appeared - wasn't playing this farm that far back. Seems one can never have enough rabbits (or chickens) thanks to using them to mill anaconda food, breeding, etc.

So you can bet your bippy that both my farms are in. heavy sigh. so much to do, so little time to do it in...

Edited to add: Just double checked the FAQ - Crystal Falls is not included for growing the event crop! So put out your highest manure makers (which when it comes to Bahamarama stables means the newer ones) and make at least some of your own manure! Sure cuts down on the amount of CCs spent at the market.... Gonna be sky high for sure this time with this event coming just one day after the last. AND with MM at same time.

 

I love the rewards of this event. GB, stars, PF, orange upgrades for rare stables and neon rabbit/goat. What's not to like?

When you switch lanes do you get both prizes? Once for landing on it and then the other for switching lanes

 

Nope, when you switch you go at least 1 step further. So you really have to chose between prices.

 

Ahh! I remember this from..like the car race that I couldn't finish. 1021 fuel cans is a lot considering the drop rate is suspect. Just put out my workshops now, I'll have to rip them up if I decide to go for it. Cloud row is average but the stuff along the way is better.

 

wow haven't looked at the FAQ on this event yet as just got here in the forum.... I have no clue to how I am gonna do this... I am not going for any stars.... no need too.. I have the star CR and bunches of FSQ's anyway that's left to do.. plus with all these events.... we didn't even need a star CR to begin with.... Speaking of it.. I did get a 50, 2 and rest is one stars each time i had opened mine... I am saving the rest to open for a rainy day...

i have already 1 question about this event... but i still need to look at the FAQ on it even though i know my answer wont be there... Right now I am going to the SOS thread and make a post for people who need drops.. then i am going to check my sunflowers and my other accounts... and get them growing before event starts..

Changing lanes it's lots of fun but can be very "expensive" as well! So I'm also going to choose a path and stick to it!

Plan? What's that??

Why is it MM always is on a day when we have to go to town ? Will be gone most of tomorrow for appointments and errands, so not sure what kind of start I'll get, but should have time to at least get starter crops done. As much as I hate using my phone to play, I should be able to harvest while husband's in his appointment *note to self: get more data for phone*. Not expecting too much difficulty with this on regular farms, will see how drops treat me on mini me before decide how to proceed there. So conductor, if you would, punch my ticket for the crazy train too!

 

I won't be doing this one -- too soon after the last (and with the lack of drops in the previous event, I didn't finish anyway). I probably wouldn't make it to the really good rewards at my level, so I'll take the time to catch up on some regular farming (maybe go for that orange rabbit hutch in Noah's Ark). Just wanted to wish good luck to all those participating. Enjoy! May the drops be with you!

Sorry took me awhile to get back... had to eat and figure out what and how many buffs i will need.... one toon of mine is very low on coins atm.. so don't know what to do with it... long as i can buy CAC i can do without the rest... but they sort've help... least they supposed too....lol

any how think my question has been answered in the FAQ anyway... but i have seen the FAQ mislead at times too... so maybe I will know more when i play and change lanes on what gifts if it is supposed to skip or not... The moving picture as I seen it shows the bar moving... but of course doesn't show the rewards from it.. and that was my question... just didn't know how to ask it...lol

NOTE to all about not doing event based on lack of drops from last event... Honestly , if like your farm isn't set up any kind of way... i don't find it no harm trying the event.... i mean we all seen drops vary from event to events... even with all of us being at different levels... If anything go for some rewards.. and before you resume normal farming, check in here and see if your not at the stage with some other farmers...Maybe you can get lucky and maybe you wont...

I do all events to try for the CR's. Unless I know I wont make it, then I wont do it. I will least grab some goodies... and if going for some goodies gets me close to that CR, then I will shoot for it... Cause you just never know. Least that's how I play or try to when I feel like game is against me... But we do have our own way of playing... Thanks for reading... I just hope it helps some to relook at things to see if they really want to sit it out...yes we sometimes have to sit it out... these back to back events is starting to wear me out now...

 

Previous years I sometimes made bio fuel with what I had available because I lost track of what was needed and made mistakes when I was tired.
The requirements are 48 XXL, 3 XL and 7 Regular; so I will make the 3 XL and 7 Regular first to get them out of the way and hold them in inventory until I need them. That way I will know that from then on I only make XXL bio fuel except for the Change of Lane Regular Bio Fuel (maybe 10 more Regular -- depends on how things are going and how often you change lanes).

Race 1: 7 XXL, 2 R
Race 2: 10 XXL
Race 3: 10 XXL, 1XL, 2 R
Race 4: 11 XXL, 1 XL, 2 R
Race 5: 10 XXL, 1XL, 1R

Great, just got on to check on farm and noticed only got short time crop on Baha. What an idiot that will be a good start to drops. Will have to get on with it nothing I can do now.

This Event is a repeat of Pigs Can Fly Event which is Defaulted as Hard. But Aces High is Defaulted as Medium. Both using 5 Fields for Camelina Event Crop. Also the same amount drops of Fuel Cans and Milling of Bio Fuel

I will be Nuking Camelina on Baha and Rain Forest at first. Grow Sunflowers on all three mainland fields to be used for Milling Bio Fuel.

Once i have build up enough Camelina for seed all 1 x 1 fields and enough Bio Fuel i will be milling 7 Bio Fuel and XL Bio Fuel. Then all remaining 48 XXL Bio Fuel will be left to be milled as same as nm56

As least we can use the Latest Cloud Row every 24 Hours this time cos Pigs can Fly can only be used every 5 days

This time around it seems that carnations were better for drops than rose hips:
Mainfield of carnations gave 40 fuel cans.
Field of rose hips gave 34 fuel cans
Magic glade of spelt gave 24 fuel cans.
