Would someone kindly translate this to USA Pacific Daylight time?
    15:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Thank you so much! For the life of me, I can never figure it out! 8)Happy Farming!

Short version: 15:00 CEST = 6 AM PDT

UTC is the time zone which all other time zones "counts from" it's in the winter equal to uk time (GMT), but differs 1 h in the summer. USA Pacific Daylight Time I think would be equal to San Francisco time, which is -7h from any UTC time.

The CEST stands for Central European Summer Time, and is +2h from the UTC time. Cities like Paris and Hamburg would be in this time zone.

But hold on, life isn't that easy, summer will end soon, and then the game will use Central European Time (CET) which is only +1h ahead of UTC.

If it is of any comfort, I'm totally clueless about American and Australian time zones.

There are time calculators which would translate any time to your zone, out there on the wast wonderful web, a search for "time and date" gives good results. Also you can for some browsers download an add-on which would give you time in different time zones/places.

It would be nice to have a countdown clock to the start of events. I am in England so only an hour difference (although my computer shows CET instead of CEST at the moment and I don't think European clocks have altered yet?!?!?

All I know is that events usually start about the time Hubby wants his dinner - today he is out - Yes, I managed to start on time.

I am not sure if they have altered yet, I always get confused about it.
It is only one hour difference for me too, only the other way around. If the event starts on 14:00 CEST then in Greece it will be one hour later so 15:00. Which always has been very good time to start because at 2 o clock I used to finish school and after lunch I could start the event. I don't know if this year it will be so convenient again.

Sandy the event will start in 6 minutes.

All countries in Europe, except wise Iceland (and Russia) have summer time, and the majority of those change back to winter/normal time the last Sunday in October. This year that's 29th October. A lot of people and companies skip the S in CEST, and only use the term CET even during summer time.

    REFRESH, always refresh.

Doesn't (always) show unless you refresh, or log out and back in again.

There is a clock on the Home - Forums page under EVENTS.
Top of the page "Current Time in CET", this is the time clock I use when events are going to start.
Makes it easier for me living in Australia.

Sorry Moraine, I didn't come back to this page until just now.
It did open for my impatient butt just when you said it would (I did have to refresh! duh!!)
But Moonlight Mania didn't last long enough this time:cry: I was just getting warmed up and it was over! <sigh> Sometimes farming is so difficult hahaha

Zedman1964 ~ that was so helpful for future reference. :) Thanks!!

Figured it had, if not you would have come back. Sorry for the shouting, I got so eager, and worried you'd lose those precious MM minutes. MM normally only last this long

Hey Sandy, I am USA in central time zone. If you look at my signature below it shows I am -7 hours from CET or CEST [not sure which is right]. If you're pacific time on the west coast that would put you at -9 hours from start time listed. But as Moraine has indicated you have to remember when we in the U.S. "spring forward and fall back" [that's how I remember] that will affect the start time. I'm hardly ever on the game when something starts anyway as the timing isn't right for me in Real Life.

Finding it hard to remember? Not a prob - put it into your signature like I did. :p

You can also show additional clocks on your taskbar so you could set one to game time so you always know what time Farmerama time is.

    Pnp,

Hmmm. Might have to try to remember to try that one of these events. Especially when I'm running right up to the wire on finishing. Knowing the exact Europe time...... yeaaaaah, I think that will definitely work. Thanks!

You're welcome:) The original idea was not mine but rather from a good farm friend. Hope it helps:)
