Aces High- strategy thread

Just finished with crops. Made 19480.
Still working on drops, only 483.
In a few hours the CR will be ready and some refined carnations will do the job in minutes.
I'll have plenty of chances to go up and down to get the best goodies

 

Done with event crops, still need about 500 drops, and have just started milling Looking forward to flying - I just hope I've planned my route through the races correctly

Finished the crops this morning and if I follow the lanes and don't switch, I need 437 more drops I've been sick since last weekend so I've just been growing and harvesting and haven't given the rewards a really good look-over to see what I want to do. But I may just end up picking a lane, doing it, and be done with it!! Happy Flying everyone and may the drops keep coming for you!!

 

Note to self: never sleep and fly. I used my 3 XL biofuels on the first race before I realized what I was doing, missed a lane change I wanted, and extended my drop needs by I don't know how much because I was mostly asleep when I did the race; yet another reason flying with your eyes closed is not recommended. I'm (slightly) more awake now, will give race 4 a go and see if I can do better this time, lol.

Had to go out of station for more than a day & had more than 14 hrs of power cut yesterday. So I have to pick up speed this weekend. Have finished 1 race and nearing the end in the 2nd race.

I like to think I got all the time in the world on this event. Maps/plans have been made. I really struggled with race 4, so I printed out race 5 Took me several minutes before I realised. But at least I have visuals on both race 4 and 5 now
Figured out I need to make 20 XXL, 2 XL and 9 cans. = 458 drops. 91h left as I type, that's 3,5 day-ish. Quick guestimate 195 drop per day, and another 70-ish the last day which isn't a complete day. Escalonilla mentioned refined carnations, and I think that should solve any constipation on the farm really quick.

Switched to carnations w/ flower CR, elixir of life and source of life to cut time, for now to get drops, think I may be done with crops on spots, or close to. Finished races 1 & 4 and partially thru 2, event going smoothly so far, except for my need for flying lessons to make the right lane choices.

Weren't we supposed to be able to see elephant pen changes now? Mine are still the same, and no upgrades in shop. Not sure if I'm not looking in the right places, or my mind's just too sleep deprived to catch on.

 

@spotsbox Giraffes started today, but would not expect to see Elephant changes until the Elephant breeding event (or just before it starts) the 13th. As BP already has Baha content update in the works, I expect we will see that/those at the same time. It just makes more sense to do all the Baha changes at once rather than piecemeal!

Have 3 of first 4 races done, almost done on the 4th (20 steps left). Hope to have all the event crop done today then on to the finish line with tomorrow morning's drops. Good luck to all as you race to the finish!

 

Thanks, dafodily . I got confused by the Elephant In the Room message in the updates section of the news board, and by the announcement here in the forum, especially by the starting and end dates.

Don't know what's going on, but struck platinum for the second time in 3 days. Won the 100% harvester for 24 hours on a regular spin ! Busy growing cress and lettuce, takes some of the tedium away when you get 7 seeds per square at a time (scarecrow CR active too). Now if I could just get a little more lucky and get a giraffe... (no greed here )

I have just done race #1,3,and4! I have most of the crops grown but don't know if I will get the needed drops before Hurricane Irma hits and knocks my power out! Thoughts and prayers for ALL in the way of this huge storm!..sorry off topic!

 

Same comes from the upper Northwest, sanddollar. Be safe, all our Florida farmers, and others who will be affected by Irma, we're thinking of you!

 

Finally finished the event. Congratulations for those who finished and good luck those who are still working, hope the hurricane will not affect you too much and you will be all safe

 

Only have the black and the red planes to do ....at first drops were good ...now they seem to have gone down hill

Thank you young man49 ...will put some rose hips in tonight...am a tiny bit low on those ..so that will give those a boost doing that as well

 

nell yep good ole bp rosehips 39 per field the last bunch maybe 23 0n each field. now i'm going with rye will see tonight.

Hey fellow farmers! I'm back after enjoying a lovely vacation in Italy. I resumed playing the game but don't feel any urge to rush on whatever yet. Yay for lazyness! . So, my strategy for this event which I just started, will be very low profiled and for once I won't even try to finish it. (Yeah, miracles do happen!) A cheering Huzzay! to those who already did.

For sure I got a bunch to read and to catch up with before FOCD kicks in again. Guess I'll start with reading the gossips

Nice to have you back habalala! Sounds like an amazing vacation in Italy! "Yay for lazyness!" I agree.....I myself am having an easygoing day on the couch....a little farming when I'm not napping. LOL
If you really pushed it, you could possibly finish this event. Or you could do just a race or 2.
What I wouldn't miss is the wonder stable event on Baha. Don't you want one of the new Giraffe???
