Congratulations to so many of you who have FINISHED!!​

So far I've only finished 3 races, and am going for the last two.....hopefully I will make it?!!

Many, many prayers to those who are facing the largest hurricane ever formed in the Atlantic!! Hurricane Irma is a monster storm, and the entire state of Florida is under mandatory evacuation...making it the largest evacuation in the history of America!! They are predicting storm surges up to 12 feet, putting the coastal areas/cities under water.

Prayers for Mexico, too....They just had an 8.1 Earthquake, with aftershocks of 5.0!...and more are expected along the Pacific coast.
Here's hoping that all our farming friends will remain safe!

Finally finished the first 4 races, waiting on drops to mill fuel for last race. The impatient side of me wants to SG my carnations and get it over with already , but the cheap side of me doesn't want to be put in a position where I'd have to buy more . The cheap side of me is winning, especially since there's still 60 hours left. I'll wait until last day to decide if I need to do instant carnations, but hopefully by then I'll be done, or close enough that I won't need to speed grow.

Yay! Done as well! - And amazingly without any mistakes In the end I chose the rabbit over the goat - even though the goat is super cute! Happy flying to all - may you beat all the opponents with ease!

nell i told ya rose hips have drop right out was getting 39 my last harvest was 23 dont go with rose hips. i have a bunch of other things
in ground now it will be ready in less than 1 hr stand by will edit this soon. ok
chaytote 20 barlel 21 rye42 & rye 35 i'm dropin 3 fields of rye for the morning
1 field chaytote and one crop.

I think I should go on trips more often I have 17.000 crops and 672 drops! I hadn't realized I had harvested so many times, now I am going to start milling, I am at the middle of the first race. I think I will be able to finish this event but I am worried about drops.
I used Puffin and on the trip I woke up early so I was able to harvest 3 times a day after breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 

Finally completed the Races all 5

Congrats to those who have finished! I am about 200 drops from completion, and hope to get done before hurricane issues force shut down late this afternoon.

Thanks to all offering prayers and good wishes for those of us in Florida (and others facing hard times). This is a nasty storm. South and central Florida people are already having power outages and severe weather; will be in my area tonight. The tornadoes that spin off the hurricane are often the most frightening part.

 

Thanks, Arielh and kibs, feel much better today My prayers are with all in the path of the hurricane and everything that goes with it I did the first 2 races this morning and think I messed up using the fuels but all is good as there is still plenty of time. I had extra crops but I am planting some more just to be safe Not sure how many drops I will need bc of my little snafu Congrats to those who have finished and to the rest of us, we shall keep going!!

 

Finished race 1-3 hoping to get event finish before Irma reaches SC Monday night we may lose power. Willow my prayers are with you and all the other farmers in Florida. I have been in touch with some farmers up until yesterday afternoon until storm hit, I am praying for their safety.

 

Almost 2 days left of event. I wish all still trying to fly much luck!!!

I have completed this event got CR + Givers

I feel also those Stateside in Florida Area affect by the Hurricane, with sea drought not seen before with many bays with no sea, Power cuts, Cruise Ships unable to dock, Delay flights etc

So now gearing up my farm for Elephant Breeding Looking forward to it aswell as many of you.

 

Thank you youngman 49 and well done finishing ...will plant those over night when the fields of camelina have been harvested in another hour and a half ...might get to sleep early tonight

All done on Pipps farm. C/R up and collecting. Looking forward to some new birds in the future from that crate.


I bit the bullet this time and did as so many veterans do. I razed my FSQ farm. Removed the stables and trees for the sake of event crop. I just had to try it once to see what the difference would be. In the end, I finished growing the event crop sooner. I still had to wait for the drops though as they were woefully light. Removing all trees and stables saved perhaps a day in event time. However, I have lost the production from said trees and stables, not to mention the loss of manure as well. Now come the task of putting all that stuff back, one field at a time. Methinks I shall not repeat this procedure. There be a reason why I leave my farm set up for FSQs!
