Sadly

Hello my Old Friends, I have decided to stop playing Farmerama. Actually, I think I made this decision a few months ago. I will always cherish the time I spent playing this game and all the wonderful people that I meet. I even meet a couple of players in RL. Yea! What fun!

When I 1st started playing, I was bearly alive and logging in each morning to visit with friends on the forum gave me a reason to get out of bed each day since I suffer from sever depression. The friends that I made gave me strength which helped me to paint again and then begin to reconnect with the RL going on around me.

Now it is time for me to continue my evolutionary journey by living life in the RL. Life is not perfect, but it is worth living and now I need to put all my efforts into developing my RL like I developed my farm. I learned a lot about accomplishing impossible tasks by doing tiny bits 1 step at a time. Does anyone remember my question of what to do with 10,000 Elephants that I think I paid less than 300 CCs a piece for just so I could donate them to the black hole so I would not have to carry those darn trophies around? Geezs that was pure torture lugging those trophies. That was ages ago. Just a distant found memory.

I am one of the lucky ones to not only have a RL visit...but a magnificent piece of your art!!! Please just check in once in a while....and keep your farm slightly alive. I will be so blue to not see you on my neighbor list!!!!

You are very talented and I'm sure your journey will take you far. Embrace your talent and we will keep you in our thoughts.

 

Sglick, thanks for being wonderful part of our farming community. I always love seeing pictures of your art work. I remember you hate lugging those trophys around. I am glad we all played a small part in helping you reconnect with yourself and RL. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

 

Dear Sglick. As others have said we will all miss you. Perhaps you will find time to pop in and let us know how you are doing. I remember when we were both trying to get fit - me with my little walks up to the next farm and back which I have just started doing again and I always think of you when I look across to the hills in the distance. Of course, being selfish, I would prefer that you stay with us all but wish you much luck in the future. Love and hugs FW

Sglick, you will be missed. I remember your tips that helped me to grow when I was but a baby farm all those years ago. i hope you will stop by occasionally just to say hi and perhaps share some photos of your art once more.

Though I have not interacted with you a lot, your parting makes me sad. Being in this game for 7 long years and spending time with everyone daily makes me think this Forum as a part of my family. Everyone in this Forum has influenced me a lot. Much more than they knew. So your parting is sad. But since it for a much better one and for progress & development, I along with others, wish you all the best in life and please carry our memories & love with you.

You were one of the first players I met when I came to the EN forum on 2014. I always liked your posts
I remember one thread you had back in the old days that you shared your accomplishments in RL and other players did as well. I was around ~edit~ years old then and I couldn't understand how important were what you managed, I had felt very ashamed that I didn't know you suffered from severe depression. It was a big change for me to write in an adult's forum. The Greek forum I used to write most of us were children haha.
I found your thread Life Style Changes. I hope it will give you a smile seeing it again(but please don't read my posts, I was too young then).

 

sglick, I am so happy to hear you are feeling better. Severe depression is such a deep, dark, ugly hole that is almost impossible to find your way out. But I am happy you found your way topside like I did!! Best wishes in your new adventure and stay strong!!

 

sglick, I'm sorry to hear you've decided to quit farming, but am glad that you are doing well and came to say goodbye. Thank you for the fun times, the mystery farmer games, and the friendship. Please stop in to visit once in a while, as you will be missed.

I had some problems too in real life that affected me.

 

Oh Yes....how I miss those mystery farmer games!!!! Or the 2 truths & a lie!!!!! Those were the best of times on the forum!!!!!
