At least the reindeer are pretty relaxed. :) .... The herd, that are not in quarantine.
Spring and Summer they queue at gate waiting for breakfast but it is always the same at this time of year, their appetites decrease along with daylight hours.

Thanks for all the pictures, Karen. I would not have guessed it was feeding time. 8)
Got used to their summertime reaction to your approach. :p

I now nominate Boris as the laziest reindeer ever. He stripped off his velvet (or at least most) days ago but he seems quite happy retaining his dreadlocks - only a little more effort required!

Really hoping I get bacteriology results back tomorrow from Mischa's abscess, as I can't cope with stress levels... I'm at the stage that even if it is the worst possible outcome I need to know and move forward - even with a very heavy heart but I need to know, now!

Looks like Boris ate the longest part. Maybe he is full and just saving the rest for a snack later. :)

I really wish there was a 'Hug button' on this forum... many, many hugs coming across the pond.

Boris the reggae reindeer! Will be thinking of you and hoping that the results you get are not bad news. Hugs from me as well.

Yes, Boris is the original "Rasta Reindeer!" A "Hug button is a brilliant idea!" I am hoping you get the results back soon and also sending "Hugs to you"!:inlove:

That idea came from SandyInJeansOr, "Or a "Hug" button:music: I love to give hugs!"
    A very sweet person!!

I was so hoping for some feedback from vet, via lab, of bacteriology today... Good or bad, as I need to get my "head around" and move forward. Message left with vet but no reply as of 6pm (UK)
Mischa abscess has resolved but she is losing weight way too quickly. Is it just that she is stressed in isolation or worm resistance which I am working on as an aside (need another week before I can retest her for worm resistance - I so hope that is her problem) but for me all symptoms say CLA... :(
    Another night of no sleep.
In the meantime general healthy herd photos.

Another message left today with vet asking for an update but this time at the surgery for any vet to call me back.... Nothing! Even after 8 days if bacteriology not back I would appreciate a reply of some sort.... :(

I agree that someone should have called you back even if it is to say that they have no news yet. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Sending you more hugs!

UPDATE - SORRY FOR CAPS BUT!!!!
Happy dance - vet just called 7pm... Final bacteriology results back in and no signs!!! Oh wow.... so happy. Mischa can finally be released slowly to the rest of herd... Not too qickly as her tummy won't cope with 24/7 grass but she's clear:)
    Happy happy dance![IMG]
