I got 127 on my first harvest of all carnations good luck to everybody going for it and I got 4 of a kind on my free roll

 

123 drops on initial harvest so there's that! My memory of the last time is trying to peek out through the fog in my brain but my gut is heavy and says "Oh, no" I'm sure when I start rolling those dice it will all come rushing back to me Here's wishing us all lots of luck

 

92 drops from 2 fields of goats, 1 field of carnations and edge trees. 3 twos on first roll, probably should have waited until after the second cup of coffee to throw my first cup of dice... fog not lifted here either! Good luck to all farmers, event or no event!!

 

jazzy22, this game is played very similar to the game of Yahtzee.

 

Yes, I understand the concept - it's the execution I'm struggling with. Why would it show a straight in the full house box on the sidebar (as an example)? After rolling three 1s (and keeping those by placing them in the bottom slots), I assumed the sidebar would show three of a kind, four of a kind, and full house as next roll possibles.

ETA: Just looked at FAQ again, and I see I needed to click on the sidebar dice for the possibles (or looks that way)? Or am I still missing something? Hopefully I'll have better luck working this out next time. Lack of sleep, lack of coffee...

ETA take 2: Okay, did a few more -- got a long straight and then some junk. I still don't understand why the full house, four of a kind, etc. show a 'straight' in the sidebar column instead of what they actually are (which is what was confusing me in the first place), but whatever.

 

Still waiting to harvest first round of carnations for drops. Did sneak in to plant the event plant at lunch.
I played the last dice event but didn't get far enough for cloud row.

Crossing fingers can get enough crops, drops and be able to keep some animal pens and trees around.

 

Jazzy... the full house, four of a kind, etc. show a 'straight' in the sidebar column because we can roll multiple combos of those rolls and get the extra bonus points for each of them, one time.

I'll use the full house column for an example.... say you roll 3 1s and 2 6s... you can collect the extra point bonus for the 1 die since you rolled 3 of them and so then the 1 die gets checked off in the column (meaning you won't get that bonus for any full house you roll that includes 3 1s again). Or if you roll 3 5s and 2 4s... you get the bonus for the 5 die in the column, then it gets checked off, and so on until all 6 dice in the column are checked off.

Same applies to the other columns that are confusing.... it just means we will get extra bonus points more than once depending on what combo you've rolled in each category.

ETA:
Unlike actual Yahtzee, we can still roll and get points for rolling the same combos (that have been checked off) thru the entire event, we just won't get the extra bonus points more than one time per each combo.

Hope that makes sense... I kind of confused myself typing it lol

 

Peeps - That is interesting. I rolled two full house and noticed one of the dice was highlighted when I rolled the first full house. I didn't pay attention on the second one I rolled. It was the same dice "1" that I rolled before. I made sure to select the full house on both rolls since it was more points than the three of a kind. When I can play again I will look.

Only 34 drops on first field of Carnations. Had trophies and an arboretum. So it was almost full field. No cloud row bonus applied.
One more field ready to harvest in 3 hrs. Will harvest my tool bonus cloud row before and see if it it helps with drops.

The game automatically highlights all of your possible point/score options for each particular roll. (There may be more than one choice, so you'd of course choose the highest points/score). The highlighting has nothing to do with the extra bonus points tho.

Played 18 games & made 2830 points (11 steps out of 75). How is everyone faring ?

 

16 games/2990 points/step 11 with 1 more cup of dice in line to be milled behind some parrot feed on this farm, 18 games/3070 points/step 12 on my other farm. I've had a few too many 40 point rolls (pairs) wasting my crops and drops

I'm only at 13 games with 2450 points. I messed up last night so have no shakers at this point. I planted event crops last night to be ready by midnight, then planned to plant an overnight crop with the time left. Fell asleep before midnight and didn't cash in on either -- no overnight crops for drops -- just the lonely event crops that had been sitting there all evening and overnight. Hope I still make it.

gambling is not working for me. I have only 1450 points in 14 rounds. To bad we can not roll the dice until they fit.

13 games, 1870 points. Lots of 40 point rolls here, too.
My AmySue52 has all the luck in my stretch of the woods. 13 games, 2850 points... lots of bonus throws there.

 

I'm growing all my crops before playing the game. I've got more than half the shakers needed with nearly 4 days still to go.

 

4250 points from 25 games. Happy to be half way towards the CR.

 

hahaha I haven't started milling anything yet either so ya'll are doing a lot better than me at this point was gone all day so I feel I might be a little behind
