Winter Calendar!

Since this time they don't seem to have enabled you to see what the presents are before clicking (I was slightly embarrassed not to have spotted that last time I started one of these threads)
This is to post the results of the advent calendar.

Day1: 3 x gingerbread!

I had to open it from the event timer. Did not realize it was open till it was mentioned here.

I am totally confused...
Looking at the time I posted it says Yesterday @ 8:56 am ... ... I posted this morning @ around 4 am. At almost 9 am I have already been at work for 4 hours.
This morning with I was on and seen your post I looked at the event timer and the only thing there was the Dice Event and the 30% of the harvester. Nothing else and like I said it was around 4 am TODAY not yesterday. Just getting settled in for the evening and the Advent Calendar is in the Event timer, clicked on it and I'm being told I missed the first gift.

Look at your post giving today's gift and it's saying you posted that yesterday as well 11:20 pm. I just don't know???

 

Hi FrootloopGrove. Sorry to hear you missed yesterdays gift.
The Advent Calendar is on the same schedule as the Daily Gift. Also the same time gifts are available to send again. If I am on the farm at that time I always reload. The Daily Gift flag pops out but the neighbor gifts are not available unless I reload the page.

 

Ok that would explain it.
The calendar started after I went to work BUT the first day was only available for a few hours not a whole 24 hours to make a day. So because I didn't get home until after 6 pm the calendar went to day two.
Day one only open for approximately 10-12 hours... Hummm, that doesn't seem fair somehow

Day 1 was open 24 hours for everyone, no matter your time zone...
I'm in CA and it was available from 3:01PM PST Thursday (00:01 CET Friday) until 2:59PM PST Friday (23:59 CET Saturday) here. It was already running when Shimmer started this thread, and when you replied to her post. Did you refresh after reading Shimmer's post?

Also, sounds like you may need to check your time zone setting in your Preferences... click your user name up at the top on the right, the Preferences. Double check it's set to the right time zone. This setting has no effect on when your events/mini events start... just the times that it shows you've posted something. And it will show a different time for each player's posts... depending on their time zone

 

I always check my calendars a few times everyday just in case I forgot!!

 

Have a look in the stocking for Day 4 and you'll recieve a single Vampire Serum (diamond buff slot, +2 on MM crops for 5 hours).

Nice gift but I prefer to use the good old Carrot Apple Chutney (+2 on all crops on all fields, including MM, for 18 hours)

 

Day 5: EP. 300 x farm level.

 

Actually Shimmer, my day 5 is showing as CC's

 

guys day 6 is 3 wonder trees but bonus box is 100% EP for 48 hours

 

I'm going away for 2 days...ie the next 48 hours...ie the entire duration of the extra EP! Blast!

 

ps....err, day 5 is CCs.
Squigglegiggle, if you haven't already activated the extra thing I think you can keep it for later, can anyone confirm? The FAQ doesn't say.

 

Alas, I already opened it! I didn't read this thread before opening the gift, so my bonus EP is already up and running! Oh well - at least I can collect extra on my crop harvests during the day, even if I won't get a main harvest in.

 

squiggle, im not sure if you can leave bonus boxes unopenened until you want to open it. Dont take my word for it but sure I read it somewhere or does it have to be opened on that day
