Peak Bragging - Strategy Thread

Just noticed that too illy. Thought I was the only one to miss the announcement. Had to delete a fruitcake to activate pink jelly...but it is working!!

 

I had a sneaky suspicion that they might sneak a BB in at the start of the event ... so wishful thinking worked for a change!

Now if it will only work for the skips! Good luck everybody!

 

Should I or should I not do this event. Someone help me decide please. Is cloud row worth getting ? Confused.

 

12ss12, if it helps, I'm going for it. The crate is worth it if the cloud row isn't.

 

Thanks, baw815. I think I will go for the cloudrow. I made a calculation - roughly you get 5 breeding animals per week - that is 52 x 5 = 260 coloured animals a year. That is 260 x 2 = 520 powerfeeds (taking they are first level coloured animals). So we get back what we invested in a year & after that it is profit. So I think, it is cost effective to get the cloud row. Going for it. Will decide about the crate later on. First invest only 460 Pfs & am going to follow zerodegree's plan. Off to my farm to put animals for breeding.

 

I am indecisive too, One-Two.

I have done a little breeding as we had the surprise BB to get the animals I needed for the latest FSQs and am growing the plants. We may get some extra special help via the Winter Calendar so I don't want to miss the chance of completing an event just cos I don't have the wherewithal at this very moment. Who knows what tomorrow will bring ... ?

 

Thanks illy ! I am thinking the same as you. Who knows what tomorrow will bring...? So while we play the game, let's play it to the full. Also we are getting farm coins during the breeding. That's a positive aspect too. Can buy some PFs with it. I am breeding cuckoos to finish the cuckoo FSQs.

 

Refresh if you havnt, they have added a short coinpalooza too.

ETA I found out cuz my cat disconnected my internet LOL

 

I got booted out twice at the start of the event and I am sure I put my breeding animals in after being logged out but I don't seem to have more FCs. Oh well, that's the way it goes. I really want those FCs - want to get me a bag of those Golden Bananas before the FCs burn a hole in my pocket!

 

We share the same problem. Don't have them and see no way to get them in the near future. Oh well.


I just flat missed the mini Baby Boom!

I'll have to wait for the full Boom coming on the weekend.

In the meantime, I have plenty of time to grow the event crop and decide how best to go after the goodies!

 

So where is the numbered map?
I am going for the Crate CR only.

Now that I am totally confused on which strategy is best can someone tell me which is best if I go for CR, givers and Aquatic crate? I just can't wrap my brain around this one I just don't want to wait too long to get the Kaboom and axe thing. BBD today???? I thought "How did I miss that??" Sneaky BP 1 field, no drops, no milling.....what has the world come to?? Best of luck to all!!

 

Get the kaboom and ice axe givers right now. As fast as you can. They take 8 hours to mature. You need them early to get the items to open up the way up the mountain and the caves. This one is so confusing...I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or wrong or somewhere in-between. All I know is I don't have enough carabiners. Moar breeding. phooey. Wondering if we'll get another baby boom...

 

Hello all!!! I've been away from the farm for some time. Just trying to get it started back up and wow so many changes to catch up on.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out the event. Almost like I've never seen one before....

I'm just going to re-read those instructions for a 5th time.

Welcome back LDCrow. The events have changed a bit since you were here. A lot of good strategy posted here. Personally I have chosen to follow zerodegrees. That was the path i was mapping out so didn't have to finish. Best of luck to everyone whatever path you choose!
