Probably thought the lift was just another kind of horse trailer which they happily jump into!:p
So no big deal to them & blessings to you! ;):inlove:

Just what Karen needs ... another couch potato. xD

What great pictures of your visit! They really were very good girls getting into that lift! Those people
sure do look like they are enjoying the reindeer and the visit!

Looks like the "ladies" had a nice day out!!!:music: It's 100% due to your constant great work with your reindeer that they can withstand all these new challenges...such as lifts and strangers! ;)

Love the pictures and the girls were so good getting into a lift, which is more than I am!

As an aside, I do despair as PETA are attacking reindeer on exhibit now. Mainly in US but they have also started targeting some in UK.
I too am guilty of supporting some of PETA's videos of abject cruelty but once signed up, we need to decide what is cruelty and what isn't. And dare I say check out how much of money raised goes on salaries compared to Animal welfare!!
In support of reindeer- records show they have been domesticated for longer then the horse or dog.

Maybe they are equating reindeer and elephants. o_O

Unfortunately many of the minds of PETA think having any animal in domestic care of any kind is cruel. Some would let animals out into the wild where those animals have no defense. Do they think "Mother Nature" is kind? I had a feral cat adopt me. He sought me out, not the other way around.

I may have to have a little chat with Boris. He had his first day out since Sunday, (2 hours). He eats his breakfast, volunteers for outing and as soon as we arrives he goes to sleep! Okay, that is good as a stressed reindeer won't sleep BUT come on Boris you can't leave it to the girls to entertain the crowds???!!! You are a lazy lump! :)[IMG]

Well it sounds like Boris had a nice meal, and then just wanted to nap on his outing, even though "he" volunteered to go!:p ya just go to :inlove::inlove: him!

I am "volunteering" him tomorrow too as he has had a week off (barring 2 hours) but bless him he always sleeps "on the job". He wants to come out with us but once he gets on location he believes he just has to stand there for photos but nap (close enough to fence for strokes). He seems to think it is just enough to get fuss without having to exert himself - he leaves that to the girls! Typical male, the girls work the crowd.. Strangely, if someone has a serious camera he jumps to life and poses!!! A couple of cracking photos taken of him "awake" just waiting for the shares. :)

Good thing he doesn't want to just curl up and go to sleep!!! Maybe the bricks are too hard, not like grass. Lucky you.

Boris is such a great character and he obviously recognises a "serious" photographer and doesn't want to miss his photo opportunity. He is a "star" after all!

    So funny...
They are putting on faces "we are so hard done to".... but this weather rarely happens in UK.... Hey you would get it and worse for 5 months were you came from - a couple of days here, and that's what you are built for and you have field shelters if you really need them!!! Got to love them! :)
