Looks like I'll fall 1 present short. So disappointed. Really tried hard with this event! I may only be short by a few drops too, but don't have any BBs left to help me.

EDIT: yep, as I thought. 108 drops short of my final present. Now I have to rebuild the farm I ripped up for a cloud row I didn't get. Disappointed doesn't even scratch the surface. If only these events were more inclusive!

I remember there was a thread about 'boo-boos' that you made on the farm. I can kick myself for what I did. I had enough drops and thought I had enough crops (miscalculated that one!!!) for my last six presents today. Ended up short with the crops - had 1441 (if I remember correctly) so I planted another 50 - with CaC on 1x1 it will give me 200, Yay!

Put that out, nuked them (only had an hour left before I had to leave - even though the event was still on for another 1 and a half after that, so 2 and a half hours total left...)

Those quick with the maths will see where I went wrong. I didn't count in the 50 seeds I needed to plant so ended up with 1591 when I left home this afternoon.

Other than serious miscalculations on my part, I got through the event in time (only just enough drops, though) so can't really complain.

Each Decoration requires to unlock: 500 Tinsel Flowers and 55 Ball Ornaments.

Doesn't sound too bad: I make that 7,500 crops and 825 drops (or 740 if you do the Enchanted Wintertime FSQ).

So are we just going to keep this thread going instead of starting a new one for the next event? Seems pretty straight forward...kind of reminds me of that date night one.

 

Straight forward? Yes, but as always the devil is in the details! 9 1/2 hour crop (ugh) grown on only 3 fields (no Baha fields) and drops from only 3 fields. Bit of a snoozefest!!

 

Do the FSQ and use CAC on the 3 mainland fields and it should take you 4 harvests to make your crop goal. Then be prepared to plant long term crops or stables to chase down the 740 drops (assuming you are doing the FSQ). Looks like I will be skipping step 7 as I have all 3 of the rewarded trees.

 

Straight forward it is:

1. Prepare: longest time crops overnight on 1x1's, ready for harvest at the start
2. Deliver the initial 10 event crops to the FSQ Enchanted Wintertime Quest and recieve 25 back
3. Complete all of the remaining tasks of the Enchanted Wintertime Quest.
4. Fill all 3 main fields with the event crops gathered from FSQ. Use every 1x1 available, apply water, manure (buy reserve today if you didn't already!), use CAC.
5. Repeat step 4 untill 7,500 crops are reached (should take only a very few harvests)
6. Count your drops. A 9.5 hour crop should provide decent drops but just not enough to finish at once.
7. Plenty of time left to gather the last drops by regular farming.

Just in case you're not able to harvest in time or want to keep crops and drops in line with eachother:
* Reserve a single field and plant long(er) time crops once near 4,000 event crops (after about 2 harvests)
* Use all the menageries and manufactories you have and leave them on the fields from the start.

My guess: Event done within 2.5 days, in time for Xmas eve

Event crop provides 144 EP (2x2), compared to regular crops (59 EP per 2x2) this one might be worth spending your EP Booster buff on althou it only is for 2 harvests. Decide yourself.

Way too busy to do the next event. I have wrapping, cleaning and baking to do -- company on Christmas Eve, plus still need to get ready for Christmas day. I just don't have the time to devote to this next event. I'll come in daily and claim my stocking, plus help with gifts any way I can to friends and neighbours.

Just in case someone missed it: there's BB to be won. I think I'll only do 2 fields of crop myself, too lazy to take out the stables in the meadow. I'm sure I'll be fine regardless.

 

I got 208 Ball Ornaments on my First Harvest. I not got the Ball Ornaments from the Enchanted Wintertime Quest, just a question how well i will do during this event. As i try to conserve some of my products

I have unlock All four of Christmas Community Gifts as it unlock two new Cloud Rows that consist of some daily login givers

 

I got 200 drops from my initial harvest very pleased about that Not to pleased with how long the crop is though I can hear those crickets chirping even though it's Dec Good luck to all!!

 

I've made three decorations so far, mainly aiming for the GBs. Decided I wanted to open the Seal Statue and just needed 2 GBs.

Only problem is, I forgot to check out what the Seals' feed is made of lol! Needed to open 2 other Statues before Seals! Checked out the Market and feed costs the same as an actual Seal. Oh well, only another 80 odd GBs required!

Loving this event - so many pressies!

I got 217 drops on my first harvest (2 fields of Gentiana and Glade with animals, workshops and trees) plus I finished the FSQ and I got 30+ drops per field from the event plant - hope everyone is getting as many or more.

 

124 drops from first harvest of carnations across all three main fields. Hm, I wonder if my newly achieved LL rune is working.
I'm loving the gifts but I'm a bit confused because I thought I received 2 stalk rows but I only see one: the Christmas Eve Magic Stalk Row.
